I love your video and it helped a lot but now my black toner isn’t printing which wasn’t an issue before. All connections are where they are supposed to be but it will not print. When I do the cleaning option it does seem to print black but that is the only time it does. Can you assist?

I am too Don't always use good quality fuser rollers. I also changed it several times, only after the third time I found a good fuser roller. Change the PLAIN paper type to LABEL type. will print slowly, but efficiently.

Hi, thank you for the info. After following this video on 2 rebuilt fusers, the toner on our printouts for both fusers will not bond to the page and sometimes clump onto the fuser film. Any advice on critical steps we may have missed? We use OEM toner cartridges.
Also, we are using 75 gram paper on Plain paper setting. If we turn paper settings to heavy weight (100+ gram paper) then it fuses. Is it normal for this printer series to have the fuser struggle with heat settings after replacing the pressure roller and fuser film?
I am having this problem, too! The toner is on the page, but doesn't "adhere" to it. It wipes right off with my finger. The pages are coming out hot, but the toner is not fusing. Did you ever figure this out?
@@wildcorn12790 We have had hit-and-miss luck with a solution to this. We believe it is ultimately tied to the lubrication on the heating element. It is very sensitive to the type of lube and the quantity applied and if there is too much lube (or not the right material) then the heat will not transfer through the film. It is very important to clean off any old lubrication from the original build and reapply with proper type so that there are not two types of lube compounds mixed together. We use GRS-HP300-20G from PartSmart dot com. It is better to start with a very thin,uniform amount across the heating element and if you get page crinkling, then de-assemble fuser (tedious I know) and apply a little more lube uniformly to the heating element. It is hard to explain over text the amount necessary but you start to get a feel for the proper amount after a few re-assemblies. This has now worked for us on 6 or 7 out of 10 fusers for our office. Not a perfect success ratio but it was good enough to keep printers operational. Best of luck, hope this helps.

What I purchased was the fuser film (and pressure roller), but what I believe I received from the seller was the PRESSURE roller film INSTEAD of the fuser film. I noticed the grease that was supposed to come with the film was missing, so the seller sent me that, but that's when the toner wouldn't "adhere" and I wrote you my other comments. So i decided to go ahead and put the original film back on and I realized when taking the "new" one off how much of a heavier material it was and different color. After doing some research, it appears the PRESSURE roller films are a more brown color and FUSER film is more of a grey color. That would explain why I was also missing the grease... Also, the item that I believe to be the pressure roller film doesn't appear to have the grounding ring at one end, either. After I installed the original film, the toner is adhering just fine now.
@@tonerfrog205 hola a mi me paso exactamente lo mismo inclusive la impresora estuvo 3 años quieta, la solución es simple resulta que investigando vi un video que después de hacer el cambio del acetato y del rodillo no se adhería el tóner al papel, no se fijaba la imagen... me pasaba exactamente lo mismo baje ese fusor 3 veces pensando que lo había montado mal... pero el problema no es el montaje, ni la filmina o acetato, el problema es del rodillo, resulta que cuando lo compras viene 0.5 milímetros mas delgado y ahí empieza el problema, así que compraron un rodillo desde Europa y salió igual, otro en china, otro en Moscú y lo mismo, la conclusión es sacarlo de un maquina original que tenga el rodillo en buen estado.... pero en mi caso no lo hay... así que la otra solución es actualizar el firmware de la impresora y seleccionar la opción de papel mas gruesa posible... imprime mas lento pero ya sale perfecta la imagen... me gustaría saber donde compara el rodillo de presión con el grosor ideal... alguien sabe?
Is there a specific position for the fuser to put it in before re installing it in the printer ? There are two positions : first one, the roller is free so it is easy to make it spin... second one, the roller is hard to make it spin (with fingers) because of the pressure of the 2 springs. First or second or ... it doesn't matter ? Thanks

I'm assuming I did the process right, I got another roller and the same thing occured. It is leading me to believe it's either faulty rollers or just something I'm missing when rebuilding.

Ah. This could have been an exceptionally helpful video. Dialogue explaining each step would help viewers follow along. For me, the music is distracting and provides no added value. I have tried on four fusers. Toner is not adhering properly . From reading maybe my fuser sleeves are incorrect. DO you have a source for good ones?
now it is very difficult to find high-quality thermal films and roller presses. if you haven 't found it , try changing the PAPER TYPE to a LABEL .

Check paper sensors
You definitely have a piece of paper touching one of the guide sensors. So it thinks there's a jam in the paper guide.

Just type in your printer and model number into Amazon or Ebay. Several roller and fuser kits pop up.
Why do you start halfway through?
With such a fuser roller, the toner will not bake normally and will be erased from the surface of the sheet.
This video doesn't even show how to take the Pamela off, which is the very first step.
