Great quick tutorial. However, I have been a photographer for 4 years and never liked the tone curve. I just think I could achieve the same result using the exposure, whites, and blacks slider. And masking always a must, which makes a picture stands out. Would love to know your opinion on this :) Thanks.
I use the exposure to get the photo to a happy place with dynamic range and basic contrast levels. I use the curves tool to add “style” so either pop or fades or minor contrast adjustments. The curves and the basic tone section can work together to get more pop in the image.

Why do you use LRC still? I just use the modern lightroom. I like it more.
Modern yes but lacking some controls, but there are definitely benefits to the one you’re using also. I just prefer this one for my use cases.
