So as a new subscriber I’m going to ask a stupid question - is there a pattern we can buy for the gorgeous 9and simple) 1840s dress, or…? I might be able to make it in time for next Christmas if I start early in January!
All these Holiday outfits are gorgeous! And green dress with bell-skirt as well as red velvet dress with puffy sleeves can easy be worn today for the festive occasions. Merry Christmas!
@SallySkellington94 so much better to be "different!!!" Dress to please yourself, write your own story... why limit yourself to mediocrity when you can shine?!? I learned at a very young age that I didn't blend into the croud. I grew up with very little, etc. It was when I realized that I had no chance of being like everyone else that I chose to flip it on it's ear. I played up my differences & made the most of what made me unique & turned those differences into a thing of power. Colleges, employers, etc are looking for those who stand out in the crowd. I accentuated my differences, treated them as assets & became memorable. It got me great jobs starting @ 16yo, got me into & through undergrad at a wonderful university, accepted into medical school, earning my MD & into residency. Different is BEST. 😊 I love the red dress & would love to wear it.
@@dawnshough3805Great !👍🔥 It reminds me what Tyrion says to Jon Snow in S1E1 : "Never forget what you are. The others don't. Wear it as an ARMOR. You'll never get to be harmed anymore."
I love 1840's & 1900's. They look like the most comfortable to wear, though the lobster tail bustle one is so cute. Magnificent deep scarlet red, too. 4 WINNERS! Iwould just personally go for the 2 most comfortable & practical, while the red is only good for balls & fancy parties.
All of them are so lovely in their own ways, but I think 1900 looks the best to me. That jacket bodice and the fur muff accessory just do so much to elevate the sense of elegance~
You make them all look good. 1840s one for recceiving guests at home. 1880s one for christmas party with good friends. 1895 one for formal gala. 1900s one for walking and visiting friends and neighbours on christmas day (that was still a thing when I was a kid….the number of cookies consumed…).
You have a very beautiful and spectacular classic style, you transport us to the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, your dresses are very beautiful.❤❤🇪🇸👍🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
Its a shame some of these are not worn today. That 1880s outfit is so sophisticated looking. Its far nicer then most anything you see being worn today. The artistic quality of these is so far beyond anything worn today. Maybe i was born ib the wrong time lol. Thanks for tge videos you do a great job at them.
People back then were basically saying the same thing about their own fashion, wishing to go back to the previous century. Nobody's really born in the wrong time, it's just the aspect of past fashions being different that makes us so interested lol
All the dresses are gorgeous but the way you have pulled together the 1880’s outfit is truly stunning. It looks as if it’s a type of riding suit with the top hat adding the final touch. Your exquisite porcelain skin also adds a magical touch any woman would crave to have. Take care of it and your beautiful figure xxx
You should try making Amy Yasbeck’s green ballgown from Dracula: Dead And Loving It. I know that film was a comedy but it had lovely late Victorian styled dresses.
They’re all so pretty I can’t decide on a favourite!! Although I think I do have a soft spot for the first one, it looks really fun and comfy to wear too
I'm reading the series that starts with A Lady's Guide to Etiquette and Murder and it happens in 1897 and the latest (A Fiancée's Guide to First Wives and Murder) happens in 1899, so it's nice to see what sort of fashions they were wearing. Some artistic licence have been taken, but they're pretty accurate about depicting that time period.
My favourite one is the 1895, simple in essence and yet so incredibly classy, and elegant and red is always an amazing colour for a dress, the long gloves add the perfect feminine, elegant touch!
I would love to see a more detailed short on that first 1840s dress. I feel like I haven’t seen it on your page before and it’s so beautiful in its simplicity😍
I love how the first one looks like an actual Christmas tree!
It may or may not be made of of a holiday table cloth 😅

I want a pattern for it!
1895 and 1900 are both absolutely gorgeous
I would wear those today if I had the time to make them 😄😄... I am SO jealous of her skills!!!
I know, I just love them.
The TWIRL of the red dress!!❤❤❤❤❤

The first one is my favorite, but they are all so beautiful
The 1840s one looks like something I’d enjoy wearing today ❤️❤️
Yes, me too
I had the same reaction. I don't think anyone would look askance at a modern woman in that dress at a nice Christmas party
That red dress with white elbow gloves 😍😍😍😍
I love the belt on the last one that you paired with the muff, it looks like a cello or violin 🎻 with the f shaped holes

So pretty! The 3rd dress reminds of the dress Judy Garland wore in Meet Me in St Louis
Was about to say the same! Definitely gives me Judy Garland singing “have yourself a Merry little Christmas” vibes ☺️☺️
Fuzzy bunny slippers are 100% on point!
All of them are amazing; but that red velvet dress... absolutely Sublime.
I can't explain how much i adore this chanel! ❤
Thank you so much it makes me so happy that you like it 🥲

As always, classy and beautiful! Merry Christmas!
The dresses from 1880 and 1900 are my favorite!
I love all of those outfits especially the 1840s dress!
The 1840s one looks AMAZING. All the swish!
It looks great and also contemporary. You could wear that today and no one would know it was from almost 200 years ago.
Gorgeous….these dresses and you are a delight
the happiness on her face is amazing
The red is gorgeous
The scarlet red was breath taking you look beautiful in all of them.My second choice would be the green.❤❤
I like the 1900 one. It reminds me of those Christmas cards and pictures of people skating ❤
They are all beautiful, so different from each other
So we’ll done♥️ if I ever time-travel back to the 1800’s I will most certainly ask this beautiful lady to make me a dress 💕
The red dress is stunning!

The corset on the 1900s one looks like a violin 🎻 😍
They're all fabulous!
I half expected a surprise modern outfit just to throw us off. Just stunning. . . and the dresses are nice too!
I love them all, my favorite two are the first and third dresses.
god the red dress is such a moment
The 1990s jacket lapel going into the sailor collar is so cute and creative
I'm a sucker for the 1880 and 1900 ones ❤❤
I would probably wear the one from the 1840s. It looked the most comfortable to me.
The last one is my favorite but I love you in red too!!
It's the first and last looks for me! I love green so much, I'd totally rock those at Christmas!❤

1895 and 1900 fits you PERFECTLY, they both looks stunning on you
The brown leather swiss-waist did me in!!

1895 has me dead, with the following dress a good second.

The 1840s gown is so cute!!!! (Deffinately a recreate for next year!)
I love the "land" vibe of the 1st one. It looks festive but comfortable.

Boy they definitely had great fashions in those days. Sometimes I'd like to go back in time. 😊❤
I would 100% wear the first one, even out of season. ❤❤❤ All of them are so gorgeous!
The burgundy one is absolutely stunning!
The slippers really sell those dresses. All kidding aside, you look brilliant in the red one.
That red one is amazing
The first was my favourite one.
Stunning gowns! Love the slippers. 😂

My favourite outfit was the 1895 one
I absolutely love them all! Just a tad partial to the one for 1880s and the Red Velvet gown for 1895. All are beautifully crafted & modeled. ❤🎄🎁
