Kind of amazing that this and Midnight Club 3 were the same generation. The speed, fidelity, and nuanced physics of that game blew this out of the water.
thanks for the heads up! was just about to consider buy this off eBay after watching this. But I guess I'll take your advice or opinion, and buy myself a new game.
Had one of the greatest online racing multiplayers ever. Remember tag? So far, no other game has been able to recreate it perfectly. Open world, plenty of places to hide, 7 other cars trying to get you, coming down to driver skill in traffic... Oh man, so much fun. Please make Midtown Madness 4!!!
Used to play for hours on split screen with my brother. We found out you could restart the game and cops would spawn. Up to 4 max they spawned after a few minutes of restarting
Yes my friend, I completely agree. Whenever I play Midtown Madness 3 it just doesn't feel the same after moving & especially since the old years have passed. 2003-2005 I think those are my old timed years in Midtown Madness 3's time.
You don't know how much I wanted this game when it first came out. I made my Dad get out and buy an Xbox and Midtown Madness 3 and I LOVED it! I wish my Xbox still worked so I can play this game again. I played this game so many times like I did with Midtown Madness 1 and 2, and Midtown Madness 1 is the only Midtown Madness game I have that still works!
Ohhhh, myyyy, godd, I have to agree with you. I have so many dusty memories that, don't seem to make me happy. I want to go through all my memories, A to Z, just once.
I agree. But the original Xbox had good patience & stamina, but it was very sensitive. Whereas the Dualshock controllers for the PlayStations is a bit of a struggle. The Dualshock was good because it was long & everything was misplaced according to gameplay but well fit-in. The Dualshock 2 was pretty much the Dualshock, but a bit more tweaks in advancing. Dualshock 3 is a BIG struggle. Small sticks, slippery joysticks, & rough triggers. A basic brief.
@b00mYou For real? I thought Midnight Club 3 was a decent game (the only one of the franchise I played) but even that game could never live up to the amount of fun to be had on the MM series. What a shame.
Man, I remember this was my first Xbox game when I was 5 years old, back in 2003. Lol I just cruise and drived, I used to get SO SCARED when the cops wanted to get me. This was Grand Theft Auto PG for me ;)
I´ve missed the San Francisco setting in MM3 because DC and Paris are a litle bit to"flat" imo. San Francosco was nice because of all the jumps and stuff. @ MICROSOFT: TIME FOR MIDTOWN MADNESS 4 !!!!!!!!
Let's see... awesome gameplay, enormous replayability, pretty good graphics (those car models look really nice!), and great multiplayer. Yeah, I'd call this the greatest game ever, in my opinion. They need to get Midtown Madness 4 made... think about what they could do with all the technology advances!!!
I miss this game, this review is definatly fair, the SP was very... Odd but enjoyable for some of the stranger missions, but the Multiplayer made this game
This was my first Xbox game. I played it to death too. I quickly added my own custom tracks. I love the review, although I would give the game more cudos.
@mightymaikmovies IKR!! like wtf man this game was the best i had so much fun with it they should make an update for the 360 to run this game and put the servers back up i would honestly spend hours playing
anyone played gti club on the wii? it's incredibly similar to this absolute classic. I miss games like this that made me smile, they were just pure fun, doesn't feel like theres much out there nowadays.
Oh man i remeber this game when i bought it when i was 7 me and my cousins played this all day and night. And i have to admit the story was harddidnt beat it till i was ten, now i am 14. 7 years since i had that game. (until i broke it)
I used to be in love with this game, played single player for hours every day when I was young. Oh memories.
Oh man so many memories playing this on my xbox 1 with my dad. Used to love that game ahah :)
Alex Craig
Oh my god the nostalgia.
this was my first game for pc (midtown madness 1).
My dad bought it when it came out. I used to play it with him. I miss those times. :)
Same!! Just a shame that this pile of crap reviewer in the video straight down just bashed the undercover mode. It was the best!
Please they need to remake this game for PC or make a new one. This was one of my favourite games of all time
DannyzPlay would LOVE a sequel. :)
DannyzPlay this is why i hate microsoft games they make third sequels on consoles like midtown madness 3 and zoo tycoon 3 on xbox one
i agree , they should make one and it was really good game and yet i always playd it
This is (in my opinion) THE BEST game EVER made. such amazing memories
Damn I miss these days when the laws of gravity didn't exist
Mad memories from back in the day, waking up on a saturday morning and playing this and 007 Nightfire all day.
this was the first game I EVER played and have so many memories. I have no idea why no one talks about this game, its really underrated
I would've said the same thing 6 years ago, still do. Best memories for a single game I can think of.
I remember playing this game till the break of dawn. just cruising around paris. its a very underrated racing sandbox game. i love it!
when i bought my xbox back in like 2004 midtown madness 3 was my first game had soo much fun with this game
please make midtown madness 4 !!!!
Midtown Madness 3 was my favourite xbox game back in the day, the single player was really good trying to unlock all the cars.
Word
It's madness that this game isn't backwards compatible!!!
Kind of amazing that this and Midnight Club 3 were the same generation. The speed, fidelity, and nuanced physics of that game blew this out of the water.
I never took the original xbox online, but MM3 was great fun; anyone else have busses racing/crashing around narrow Paris streets?!
thanks for the heads up! was just about to consider buy this off eBay after watching this.
But I guess I'll take your advice or opinion, and buy myself a new game.
xbox has been gone for years, wish there was an working emulator
this isnt the same midtown i used to know and love ;(
these graphics were incredible for 2003... they did a great job... one of the most addicting games i've played in years (until gta iv haha)
@Pnsg7 same with me, but blinx the time sweeper, not crimson skies.
midtown madness 1 had the snow background but 2 didnt , does 3 have it ?
Had one of the greatest online racing multiplayers ever. Remember tag? So far, no other game has been able to recreate it perfectly. Open world, plenty of places to hide, 7 other cars trying to get you, coming down to driver skill in traffic... Oh man, so much fun. Please make Midtown Madness 4!!!

Lotus Esprit V8 was amazing on this game
Thanks! I loved Midtown Madness 3 and I always hated that you can't play it on the 360! Great advice!
Love this game I would give it 5 stars out of 5. I miss it so much to!!!
Yes my friend, I completely agree. Whenever I play Midtown Madness 3 it just doesn't feel the same after moving & especially since the old years have passed. 2003-2005 I think those are my old timed years in Midtown Madness 3's time.
aaaahhh...the classic sound of passing a checkpoint is still there
What would you rate this game out of 5?? Please tell me soon. Thank
ya i used to play this game when i was like 9 and i got both secret cars.
What would you rate this game out of 10? Please tell me soon. Thanks
Gah, still not playable on the 360 D: Loved 1 and 2 on PC.
brings back my chilhood memories
this game was my freakin childhood!!!
i introduced this game to this day and we all still love it
@xdlugia1 sorry for you but it"s the 3 for XBOX1 not MM4 for XBOX360 and PC
This game was part of my early life.
Same here! Ahhh, back when all my brother & sister didn't have big homework assignments. We went mad with this game. :')
You don't know how much I wanted this game when it first came out. I made my Dad get out and buy an Xbox and Midtown Madness 3 and I LOVED it! I wish my Xbox still worked so I can play this game again. I played this game so many times like I did with Midtown Madness 1 and 2, and Midtown Madness 1 is the only Midtown Madness game I have that still works!
why did they stop making this series??
I absolutely love MM3. First gmae in ages I played until I had unlocked every single thing on it.
Why it doesn't come on PC version

Ohhhh, myyyy, godd, I have to agree with you. I have so many dusty memories that, don't seem to make me happy. I want to go through all my memories, A to Z, just once.
Where can i get midtown madness 3?:P
My dreams will come true if they had this for PC.
its good that he is honest, really tells whats bad and good not only the good like some developers do
I agree. But the original Xbox had good patience & stamina, but it was very sensitive. Whereas the Dualshock controllers for the PlayStations is a bit of a struggle. 5 years old i played this... still an awesome game
Man, I remember this was my first Xbox game when I was 5 years old, back in 2003. Lol I just cruise and drived, I used to get SO SCARED when the cops wanted to get me. This was Grand Theft Auto PG for me ;)
i hate that this isn't compatible with the 360.
@Anysystemhacker2012 hmmm i think you can get the second game for pc.
Xbox live for original Xbox was disabled a week ago or so.
I would give it hmmm. If you add my memories with this game then hmmm. that would be..... Infinity/ 5.
Man in my town they had this in the y but this was my prelude to gta and open world games out right
@gts1300 haha! Mine too. I'll never forget all those hours spent cruisin' in Chicago...
are the server still online?
Wish this game works on the 360 :(
ZOMG playing this game for like 6 years and it never gets old, altough I've beaten it like 7/8 times =)
I STILL HAVE THE SECOND ONE ON PC.From like 2004 or so.(I moved to america but I still have it)
I´ve missed the San Francisco setting in MM3 because DC and Paris are a litle bit to"flat" imo. San Francosco was nice because of all the jumps and stuff.
@ MICROSOFT: TIME FOR MIDTOWN MADNESS 4 !!!!!!!!

They need to get Midtown Madness 4 made... think about what they could do with all the technology advances!!!
Driver Sann Francisco brings the same feeling. I like it pretty much!
i had this game for my xbox back in '07. memories
This game was the most fun I've had in an online game. So damn funny.
I miss this game, this review is definatly fair, the SP was very... Odd but enjoyable for some of the stranger missions, but the Multiplayer made this game
PLEASE REMAKE THIS GAME FOR 360 OR PLEASE RELEASE MIDTOWN MADNESS 4
Such good memories...
It sucks so much that the third did not come out on pc.
@HendrikDemo burnout paradise is cool... but you have to unlock cars
did you watch the whole video.....?
Yeah, dunno why they never released it on the PC :/
The game seems to be fun. And there is Koenigsegg included! :P
i got this the first day it came out ! back in 2003
Sucks so much that I never got the chance to play multiplayer :(
This was my first Xbox game. I played it to death too. I quickly added my own custom tracks. I love the review, although I would give the game more cudos.
too bad I didn't have xbl when I bought this game and now all original xbl support is down...
You're 15 now? In 2013? Can you believe it? Midtown Madness 3 is ten years old!
no dash view? even MM2 had that!
@mightymaikmovies IKR!! like wtf man this game was the best i had so much fun with it they should make an update for the 360 to run this game and put the servers back up i would honestly spend hours playing
i loved playing this game
@xdlugia1 ah, yes, and MM1 was my first PC game I had
i always wanted to play this game but i had a ps2 at the time.
@tallalahmed20 it was, but the idea was scrapped.
@gts1300 no...you get me wrong. I mean't like I wanted Midtown Madness 4 for Xbox 360 and PC.
anyone played gti club on the wii? it's incredibly similar to this absolute classic. I miss games like this that made me smile, they were just pure fun, doesn't feel like theres much out there nowadays.
midtown madness 3 was myfirst game on xbox and i loved wish there was midtown madness 4 on xbox 360
