Could of used that scanner 25 years ago! Of course, we used the Chrysler OBD-II that Crysler sent us for those Fuel Injected vehicles. At the time, as simple as they were, they did help a lot back then.
Well Chrysler (Stelantis or whatever) just insured I will never buy one of their products. I will NEVER purchase any vehicle where I have to subscribe to anything. Maybe it's just my contrary nature but once I buy a vehicle I feel it should be mine. Keep the good stuff coming Kenny.
Do you own a PC or laptop? Does it use Windows? It's not yours. It belongs to Microsoft and they can and sometimes do disable parts of your hard earned hardware for various reasons including if they have a falling out with a hardware vendor over driver signing or such. I have had exactly that happen just before I switched to Linux.
great video Kenny. learned lots from this one! Cat's and O2 sensors make a bit more sense to me now, Thanks! I think you got lucky removing those O2 sensors! Last pair I did must have been the factory fitted ones. They definitely did NOT want to come out. Luckily they were where I could get an extra long wrench in and 'Insist' that they come out.
That screw piece on the engine cover was a recall from Chrysler and there is also a recall on this cats and o2 sensors the recall cones with cat and both 02 sensors then you update the pcm
At least he didn't do what the customer said he saved him a lot of money by checking the sensors and not just putting new cats in good mechanics some would tell that they needed the new cats and rip them off for the labor
I just got this tool two days ago, I am not a professional but a DIY person. The only thing I have not been able to locate is the ability to perform I/M Readiness like I can on my older Autel AL619. All over the internet it seems like this tool has the feature, I just cannot locate it.
I can see in the future what Chrysler is doing by charging for their repair information today will probably be what most companies will be doing in the future. Just another way to extract more money from anyone wanting to do anything with THEIR vehicles. You don't own the car, you are merely it's caretaker for the corporation. I'm surprised that Tesla hadn't thought of this?
Was it my video, or one of the others? Love your stuff Kenny! Cat efficiency codes are no fun! I'm almost done with reinstalling the engine on my Crown Vic (videos trickling out)... ran into getting the right and left sensors mixed up...no clue yet which is which because I'm not far enough into the reassembly to power it up and figure it out...

Should have used this scan tool to show prior the O2 sensor. Great video. That scan tool is next in my list
Best one handed mechanic on the web.
Ivan at Pine Hollow JUST had the review on this & 2 other scanners; ONLY a 2 day sale at "BIG A" so you may want to hustlle
Good morning Mr Kenny hope y'all have a wonderful day

Spark plugs have gotten my cats working too.

I'm from the north I got a air hammer o2sensor tool works on those rusty ones
On the KingBolon site, the working temps are 32°F (0°C) to 122°F (50°C). Not much range for someone in Minnesota or Maine in the winter.
Hey brother Kenny, where did you get that belly saver that you see under the hood over the radiator. It is yellow.
I wanna know too!
Looks like the foam pad cushion out of an old bucket seat to me. I have a similar one myself.
I have a toodon and it looks exactly the same nice scan tool though
At least he didn't do what the customer said he saved him a lot of money by checking the sensors and not just putting new cats in good mechanics some would tell that they needed the new cats and rip them off for the labor
Obd2 and can will diagnose the o2 sensors. If a code is there for low efficiency, there is a reason.
Thanks Kenny!

Bigger and better toy for a big boy
Dang it Mr Kenny I want one I'm jealous 😅
Good video Kenny I like that scanner
It is on my wish list Kenny. Does it have save screen shot ?
Looks just like the Topdon.
Good scanner, and I am sure the customer is happy that they don't need to change that cat yet. Speaking about cats, Did you pick a name? Nice video
Do you just to buy half to go to school? Just to take and learn the scanner.
Servuce writer should tell customer what u said about replacing 02 before replace cat.
How about cutting the wires and use a deep socket Solved😅
not sure if autoauth will be allowed on kingboleon as launch want that for their selfes
Kingbolen K10 not support autoauth but K6 Pro and K8 IMMO support.
thanks@@kingbolen_official
Dang got me a launch scanner, now I'm already obsolete 😅
Which launch you got? Launch makes the software for most of these scan tools

It does a pretty good job but would be nice with even more lol I'm greedy 😁
Kenny, you remind me of a yankee friend I had from NY, (may he. RIP) do you favor hot tea over coffee?
Sounds like the vehicle has a bad blend door actuator too. When you turned on the key I heard a knocking sound….. just sayin
