    They sure packed everything into that board. Your vertical case build looks great!

      Unfortunately, all their Z790 boards don't have bios flashback.

    just out of curiosity, how did you manage to get such a low R23 score of 31000, I haven't even over clocked mine and it hits around 40300.

    The de-noiser on the audio is very noticeable. You should apply it a bit more subtly.

    My bro, Will you please do a video covering the z709 Steel Legend? I'd really like to hear your thoughts on that board. I want the tiachi, but it's a little spendy for me. Steel Legend might be my choice if I can get your approval on it. Thanks

    Is this too big for mid tower case ?

    Can you let me know if the motherboard exhibits any coil whine? Either under load or maybe a faint buzzing which modulates in the background with system activity and present most if not all the time (can be caused by c-states).
    Can maybe someone run Aida64 copy memory test and latency/ Prime95, Cinebench r23 to see if any of those induce coil whine?
    I have Gigabyte Z790 Master, which is a fabulous board but has coil whine as described and i read that Asus Maximus Hero is the same... so how is it with Taichi?
    Many thanks

      I suggest trying another power supply. Evga pq, t2, p2 series is completely silent after running Aida64 benchmarks for a night
      I had mild coil whine with Z690 Aorus Master and coil noise is gone. Psu: Evga 1000w PQ
      Corsair HX1500i induced gpu coil whine, while Evga one mutes it. Worth the shot for you ;-)

    • @sebna
      @sebna 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@righteousone8454 @righteousone8454 that is s good info but not the best advice. You probably don't realize that EVGA is no more. They are gone, so I would not recommend buying their products.
      However their PSUs are based on leadex platform so Superflower should perform similarly.
      I actually own T2 850W, so I can try it. It is dead silent that is true but still my GTX 1080 whines powered by it.
      My 4090 is powered by Hx1600i. Both PSU and the RTX has some whine.
      I have Gigabyte z790 master that whines and Asus PRO art that is silent...

  • @Cobrass2
    @Cobrass2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Something is wrong with your scores at cinebench R23, they are very low for the 13900k, should be minimum of 37k for multi score, i get 40300 with no oc only higher tdp

    how can it be 2x pcie5x16, the gen 13 only has 20 pcie lanes!

  • @pbrigham
    @pbrigham ปีที่แล้ว

    You need a New motherboard a New power supply and as bonus a new circuit breaker at your house.

  • @matthebert007
    @matthebert007 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    You did it too. You downgraded your badass GPU by using the same 16x lanes as your M.2. You have to move your M.2 to another slot to get 16x on your GPU.
    Right now you are getting 8x on your GPU and 4x on you M.2. You are wasting 4x of your 16x 4.0.
    An excerpt from the manual page 2:
    *If M2_1 is occupied, PCIE1 will downgrade to x8 mode.* If PCIE2 is occupied, M2_1 will be disabled. If PCIE3 is occupied, SATA3_0~3 will be disabled.
    great build, bad config. The benchmarks were still impressive even though you have it configured wrong.
