      She needs to take a DAP classes based on the Duluth model for a year!!! I used to facilitate these and they have the best results for gender neutral classes. They're internationally recognized.

    I agree with your assessment, Quita. This behavior is unacceptable in the WNBA, NFL, NBA, or any organization. All leagues should have a no-tolerance policy when it comes to this issue.

    The WNBA must be careful when dealing with how they will respond to this incident, more so considering R. Williams' documented mental health history and its potential impact on her actions.

      Sports unlike the “real world” will look the other way as long as you can help the team win and put people in front of the tv and seats. The second you can no longer produce, teams will drop you from the roster. In this case, Ms. Williams got her second chance and blew it with this most recent arrest.

    I guess the court ordered domestic violence classes (for the 1st incident) was just a way for Riquana to avoid jail time. Obviously, DV class didn't do what it was supposed to do.

      Lock her up before she kills someone. She can get counseling in prison. That's where she belongs.

  • @politicallil7060
    @politicallil7060 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    That's ridiculous she needs to go work on her mental health before she kills someone I wouldn't hit the court with her under no circumstances. At 33 she not maturing she should have been gone.

    I agree with you here about Riquna. To have happened 2x, and with very serious circumstances for both is inexcusable. I do hope she and her spouse get the help they need, to heal do better.

      Relationships can be tough, especially when you as a player are having to deal with an injury. I didn't know this was her second issue with domestic violence. At 33 and in a league where that shouldn't be tolerated I think it's difficult to keep her on the payroll.

      You are right BG and was involved in domestic violence incident, and she plead guilty to disorderly conduct.
      WNBA players have a track record of this and it is very problematic
      Here’s an article about BGs situation: syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2446693-brittney-griner-pleads-guilty-seeks-counseling-after-domestic-violence-arrest.amp.html

      In a purely business point of view maybe its time for the NBA to pull the plug on the WNBA and market the G-League internationally instead.

  • @jackiegammon2065
    @jackiegammon2065 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    THE WNBA first and foremost must come up with some sort of disciplinary policy. IMO Williams if found guilty should be banned from the WNBA, especially since this isn't her first time. Brittany Griner also falls into that category. The WNBA is losing fans like crazy, and with so little being done when there are actions like this, they will continue to lose more. Each team needs to set policies as well, and they need to act swiftly. There is absolutely NO room for any actions like this, and teams and players need to know and feel how serious this is to every team and the league. It's time for everyone to be responsible for their actions, and that starts from the League itself.
