There's a lot of comments on here about this, person's feet being dirty, and a lot of people are being judgemental, but here's the thing, I think a lot of these people are disabled, I'm disabled and I'm in a wheelchair, I can't lift my legs so I can't even reach my feet, I'm only 49 years old, but I'm not able to take care of the lower half of my body. My daughter has to do it, and this person could also be elderly, there are so many people on here who are so judgemental about people's feet and talking about how disgusting this person is because their feet are dirty but if this person is disabled, and they aren't able to take care of their feet, y'all that is messed up, stop judging people, you don't know their situation, and you don't have the right to judge this person and others who have been on his channel more than likely are disabled or elderly, so stop with the judgement it's really messed up.

I love how I don't need to know the language to know how awesome you are at what you do. You use the least amount of stress/force on the toenail as possible. It is rare if your patients bleed of say "OW!" (from all the videos I have seen). Doesn't matter what language you speak or where you are from, you can always tell when someone is a good doctor.

I agree! Just like this method, there is also method with a retainer for your nail, it reshapes the toe so it will be more flat than curled. Imo, it looks better this way and don't have to do the whole surgery stuff, and it looks way better to know that your nail will atleast grow back to normal at some point instead of it looking weird.
It's interesting to see how different you remove ingrown nails towards the videos in America they seem to be a little more over kill in removing an ingrown but I still enjoy watching them both!

My nails always get like this (not to this extent cuz i never let them), thats why i dont buy into the "cut them straight blabla". Hell no, my nails are cut all around. There'll be no more ingrown nails for me ;w;
They get sock fuzz, dead skin cells and perspiration build up underneath the toenail. It may be they don’t have the proper tools or technique or they simply can’t reach their foot. Many elderly people have that issue.
Although I do love watching his video I wish he could promote good hygiene for his patients because there nails aren’t clean at all or soak there feet first something
Won't this cause ingrowns unless you destroy the matrix on the sides? I had ingrowns from childhood till my late 20s because I cut the corners too short and have been told me we to do that again and to leave them straight across.

It's an accumulation of sock fuzz and dead skin that just builds up over time, the ingrown is the toe protecting itself from the debris. When we get older the build up happens over years. See the toe bro or The Meticulous Manicurist they can help keep your nail healthy.

The tool he's using is referred to as a "Pedicure Knife" which is surgically sharpened which along with soaking the nail helps to remove the ingrown/sidewalls with little to no pain or discomfort. You can usually find and buy them online.

The skinnier you make a toenail, the worse a pincer nail will get/grow out. Would love to see the rest of the procedure and what you do to avoid this.
