@@ArktixOfficial Ugh -somehow in checking the comps I missed the Rockbreaker ones and of course as soon as I get the Bow I most wanted - Ivy, I find out those are required for its first upgrade - I have everything for the rest of the levels. Rockbreakers are a long way off in the play through so I am stuck wondering if I should go back and farm them and start a new NG+... ugh
Aw man. Yeah that's annoying. If you're not far in it could be worth going back, like you said. Better to do it now rather than wait and regret you didn't lol
One important thing about All-Mother's Blessing: it is *very* cheap to upgrade for a Legendary weapon. Both the shard cost and the components required are more in line with what you'd expect from a Very Rare weapon.
Yes good point! It’s also very strange the the level 4 and 5 upgrade costs for the AMB are exactly the same. I’ll keep an eye on that and if they change anything I’ll update the spreadsheet 👍
Tripcasters kind of suck tho. I never once used them in my Very Hard playthru. Seems like something for the the players who aren't very good with the combat in the game which I suppose is fine. Same with traps, seems to be there for ppl who aren't very good at the combat.
@@sorenjensen3863 I guess. They just kind of suck compared to other methods that involve actual combat. The only time I have seen ppl using them are those who are just starting out or those who tend to get their butts kicked fighting straight up. & that's fine, it's nice to have options for all players and all skill levels. I also noticed that I was using Tripcasters in the 1st game in the beginning as I was learning the game. The weapons weren't quite as OP in the 1st game as they are in this one either. Damage values are now far higher in the 2nd game things like the Tripcaster rather obsolete. Although this new Legendary Tripcaster has FAR higher elemental values than previous versions so it may actually be useful now for inflicting early status effects on foes. They were too weak before this variation. Either way tho this is indeed a good thing to have for beginners. As an expert it's just sometimes hard to remember what it was like before you knew just about everything about a game lol.

Great video Arktix!, and that spreadsheet man, you really put everything into work for this community. Maybe it's a lazy tip, but if someone is thinking of farming those components before playing the NG+ mode, you could always use the easy loot setting, mainly for the components that are hard to get like those earthgrinders or the Dreadwing fangs.
The spreadsheet is just above and beyond. I regularly use the one you made for the coils as well. Had to comment and add how much your work is appreciated.
This has become my favorite game of all time even though I have played Destiny 2 for 2 and a half years. I figured out the farm idea way before finding your channel, but THIS is what Ive been looking for. You deserve way more credit. Cant wait to start NG+ in a few more days of grind!!! 😁
Wow the new Hunter & Sharpshot Bows sound great! I'm finishing up some other games in my backlog but I'll be back to Horizon soon. (Back-to-back open world games can be draining haha.) I REALLY WISH that The Defiance Spear had Drill ammo instead of Fire tbh. I wish that we could customize our weapon perks and slots with resources in a future update at our work benches.
Preach! Yeah I would LOVE to have legendary drill spikes. And yes, customizing ammo slots would be so great. Hopefully we’ll get that in Horizon 3, or maybe a DLC if we’re lucky!
@@ArktixOfficial Yes we should be able to customize the weapon grades based on your progression(common - legendary) We need to have different customized aesthetics for weapons based on the origin on the tribe that you want it from. Then we should be able to pick three ammo types and the grade of ammo. (Normal / Advanced/ Elite)
I think you mean instead of impact spikes, it doesn't have fire spikes man. The skykiller does. But yeah I fully agree, was also wishing it had Drill spikes.
This was my first time seeing your content. Very well done, bro. You’ve earned a like, sub, and a Full Stripes from me. I haven’t jumped back in yet since the update. I loved the Wings of the Ten sling, but adhesive is a poor choice for an end game ammo type. It was probably just my play style, but I used it less than anything else. It’s an duplication glitch you can do now at the moment to max out all Materials, cores and resources. You better get it to it now before it’s patch. You can get unlimited shards etc.

I just finished my first playthrough and i'm glad I saw this before starting a new game plus. I really appreciate the spreadsheet so I can grab all the stuff I need for the individual weapons that i'm going to want. This is so helpful! i'm personally hyped to get tears of the land god and irvis downfall, the most.

Thank the Ten! I can farm before NG+. I'm still working on leveling my loadout. I didn't think I'd care but transmog has got me interested. I like the Oseram and Carja trapper armors but I use the Thunder Warrior so maybe I'll make use of it.
Thank you for the spreadsheet. HFW is my very first console game and I started it by playing in story mode. Even after 200 plus hrs of playing I could barely manage very hard mode with large machines. I wanted to start the Game+ but I am endlessly harvesting machine parts before i could start Game + in UH. Then I found you. This sheet is a life saviour. :)

I dont know if you know this, when you reach memorial grove and hekkaro asks you to go to go to Bulwark, before heading to Bulwark just go to the Arena. Arena wont be open but the hunter will be in the corner infront of the gate and you can get all the very rare coils from her. Later when the arena was open after the kulrut same coils are available to purchase from the hunter as she moves her camp inside. I am not sure if this added another set of coils to my inventory but i could definitely purchase twice from her.
Thanks for that spreadsheet man, that will be helpful! Game8 didn't bother to update the upgrade info for these weapons on their site for some reason. I was considering farming for parts before starting my Ultra Hard New Game + run, but I think the weapons I already have are plenty good enough, and this will actually give me something to shoot for during the playthru and a reason to actually farm some enemies which I find enjoyable. Otherwise I won't have much reason to even bother doing that in this playthru.
I want to thank you for your hard work and for creating a spreadsheet with all the components for the weapons, I just finished burning shores and want to do ng+! Needed this!
Super useful! i wrote down all I need to get and I’m planning to gather all the resources up before heading into new game+. i like having every element on hand, so I might be mixing new legendaries and old ones for every element!

Great video found it very useful I’m gonna Apply this to my playthrough later on. Do you recommend using NG+ ultra hard as my new main file. I want to 100% the game as I’ve not done it yet and I have the time just not sure if I should do it on this or not
Thanks! I'm glad you found it helpful! I would say you should upgrade the weapons and armor you use the most before starting NG+ Ultra Hard. Other than that, there isn't much benefit to 100%-ing it before starting. That being said, I did have 100% before starting...😅
Such a big update. I am still in my first playthrough with 85 hours in and have yet to play through Elden Ring, AC Valhalla, and Tales of Arise 🤦🏽♂️. Kudos to you for the spreadsheet
I love your channel. Incredible tips. I've just finished the game on Ultra Hard. I had all the new legendary weapons but I never upgraded them (I missed out!). All I really have left to upgrade them is luminous braiding. Going to work on that soon.
Great to know about that frozen machine bug for elite precision ammo! And yeah, I don't see myself using them much as they should be far stronger considering the cost to craft them for just a pack of 3. The Crit damage bonus looks nice tho, would make for a decent crit build for that bow. And yeah, I don't even use advanced precision ammo very often unless going for some extreme damage buffs using Powershots and mounted archer, stealth ranged and low health ranged all combined. My Forgefall really doesn't see much use.
Agreed. I don't use my Forgefall much either. I was thinking it could be cool to use Powershots on the Downfall Elite Arrows though since it won't use up any ammo. Might be my new setup for a sharpshot bow now that Braced Shot has been nerfed 😭
@@ArktixOfficial Yeah I am curious to see how Powershots is now with the Elite ammo and Double Notch, along w every buff you can stack aka stealth ranged low health ranged mounted archer etc. Wondering how high the damage will get now.
I think when/if the fix the elite arrows not working on brittle we’ll be able to break the 40,000 single shot damage record 😈 I’ll try to get a vid up on that as soon as they fix the elite arrows.
@@ArktixOfficial Lol that would be nuts. Now that I think about it, w all the nerfs they're putting in place it wouldn't surprise me at all if that Elite "bug" was not a bug at all but actually intentional. They seem intent on limiting the battle system that they themselves designed.

Does the 8 percent chance to slow on the brawl breaker ruin it? I could see that really messing up the synergy of pulling it out after freezing an enemy, since if they slow down, it would overwrite the frozen state
Oh that’s a good point! Yes, it would indeed cancel the brittle state. That would be super annoying. Another reason I think I’ll probably end up sticking with the Blast Forge…
Yeah I agree, I have been conscious of that ever since I saw those buffs on weapons. I really wish you could just turn off certain buffs if you wanted to, cus I would really hate for ones like this to proc. I hope it at least works where it won't activate if the enemy is already afflicted with a status ailment, although I don't know if that's how it works or not.
It really does mess with Brittle builds! Slow would be truly amazing if it had the utility of the trip caster as in slow stuck mobility to allow strategic attack angles! However, even in slow state enemies turn, move and attack with regular speed! Guerilla could also double the status time as the main gimmick. Others have considered allowing other elements to STACK but that's way too game breaking!!

I was wondering this myself cus I noticed that it doesn't seem to do much of anything... I am legit curious as to what it actually does. If anyone actually knows I'd really appreciate it!

It could be a glitch or unintended mistake from Guerrilla's part. Take advantage of it now before they patch it.

I just finished my first playthrough and i'm glad I saw this before starting a new game plus. I really appreciate the spreadsheet so I can grab all the stuff I need for the individual weapons that i'm going to want. This is so helpful! i'm personally hyped to get tears of the land god and irvis downfall, the most.

Thank the Ten! I can farm before NG+. I'm still working on leveling my loadout. I didn't think I'd care but transmog has got me interested. I like the Oseram and Carja trapper armors but I use the Thunder Warrior so maybe I'll make use of it.

Thank you for the spreadsheet. HFW is my very first console game and I started it by playing in story mode. Even after 200 plus hrs of playing I could barely manage very hard mode with large machines. I wanted to start the Game+ but I am endlessly harvesting machine parts before i could start Game + in UH. Then I found you. This sheet is a life saviour. :)

I dont know if you know this, when you reach memorial grove and hekkaro asks you to go to go to Bulwark, before heading to Bulwark just go to the Arena. Arena wont be open but the hunter will be in the corner infront of the gate and you can get all the very rare coils from her. Later when the arena was open after the kulrut same coils are available to purchase from the hunter as she moves her camp inside. I am not sure if this added another set of coils to my inventory but i could definitely purchase twice from her.

I was considering farming for parts before starting my Ultra Hard New Game + run, but I think the weapons I already have are plenty good enough, and this will actually give me something to shoot for during the playthru and a reason to actually farm some enemies which I find enjoyable. Otherwise I won't have much reason to even bother doing that in this playthru.

Thanks! I'm glad you found it helpful! I would say you should upgrade the weapons and armor you use the most before starting NG+ Ultra Hard. Other than that, there isn't much benefit to 100%-ing it before starting. That being said, I did have 100% before starting...😅
Such a big update. I am still in my first playthrough with 85 hours in and have yet to play through Elden Ring, AC Valhalla, and Tales of Arise 🤦🏽♂️.

I love your channel. Incredible tips. I've just finished the game on Ultra Hard. I had all the new legendary weapons but I never upgraded them (I missed out!). All I really have left to upgrade them is luminous braiding. Going to work on that soon.

Great to know about that frozen machine bug for elite precision ammo! And yeah, I don't see myself using them much as they should be far stronger considering the cost to craft them for just a pack of 3. The Crit damage bonus looks nice tho, would make for a decent crit build for that bow.
And yeah, I don't even use advanced precision ammo very often unless going for some extreme damage buffs using Powershots and mounted archer, stealth ranged and low health ranged all combined. My Forgefall really doesn't see much use.
Agreed. I don't use my Forgefall much either. I was thinking it could be cool to use Powershots on the Downfall Elite Arrows though since it won't use up any ammo. Might be my new setup for a sharpshot bow now that Braced Shot has been nerfed 😭
@@ArktixOfficial Yeah I am curious to see how Powershots is now with the Elite ammo and Double Notch, along w every buff you can stack aka stealth ranged low health ranged mounted archer etc. Wondering how high the damage will get now.
I think when/if the fix the elite arrows not working on brittle we’ll be able to break the 40,000 single shot damage record 😈 I’ll try to get a vid up on that as soon as they fix the elite arrows.
@@ArktixOfficial Lol that would be nuts. Now that I think about it, w all the nerfs they're putting in place it wouldn't surprise me at all if that Elite "bug" was not a bug at all but actually intentional. They seem intent on limiting the battle system that they themselves designed.

Does the 8 percent chance to slow on the brawl breaker ruin it? I could see that really messing up the synergy of pulling it out after freezing an enemy, since if they slow down, it would overwrite the frozen state
Oh that’s a good point! Yes, it would indeed cancel the brittle state. That would be super annoying. Another reason I think I’ll probably end up sticking with the Blast Forge…
Yeah I agree, I have been conscious of that ever since I saw those buffs on weapons. I really wish you could just turn off certain buffs if you wanted to, cus I would really hate for ones like this to proc. I hope it at least works where it won't activate if the enemy is already afflicted with a status ailment, although I don't know if that's how it works or not.
It really does mess with Brittle builds! Slow would be truly amazing if it had the utility of the trip caster as in slow stuck mobility to allow strategic attack angles! However, even in slow state enemies turn, move and attack with regular speed! Guerilla could also double the status time as the main gimmick. Others have considered allowing other elements to STACK but that's way too game breaking!!

I was wondering this myself cus I noticed that it doesn't seem to do much of anything... I am legit curious as to what it actually does. If anyone actually knows I'd really appreciate it!
