Bro you should be an youtuber, after working so hard and reaching such great heights, you will be motivation to people who are not from top tier colleges
This even continues after graduation. It's a culture where you'll constantly be judged for your choices and will be made to feel bad for living life the way you want to. The opinions of relatives and society people matters more to the parents than the happiness of their son or daughter. No wonder the youth wants to run away from all this bs and study/work abroad. They want to be free from all this non-sense.
I belong from a tier 3 college and now I'm working in Amazon. Tbh it doesn’t matter where u come from what matters is what you bring along to the table.
Exactly. What matters more than your percentage/marks/result is your work experience and skill. I know this because even my brother wasn’t getting good marks at school. He only got 70% in his class 12 exam. And look at where he is now. He works at Microsoft. Sure, not getting into IIT can make things a bit challenging but doesn’t mean its impossible. Nothing is. Don’t lose hope. My bro also studied from a tier 3 college as well.

It is not about being from IIT or not. It's about culture. In India, we don't have a culture of genuine learning, collaborative learning, innovation, etc but a culture of rat race (life long rat race), labeling, percentages, etc. If any of you think that this labeling and rat race stops after getting into IITs/IIMs/NITs other good colleges, then think again. It NEVER stops. If you get into good colleges and didn't do well, and by well I mean 30-50 lakh ka package (which I guess is the only measure of success in our Society's eyes, earning loads of money), tab bhi log tana marenge. The person who couldn't get into tier 1 college earlier in life, will get resentful towards people from tier 1 colleges (although not all, but the majority). I will tell how bad the situation is. When I was in 9th standard, our Physics teacher once mentioned that he knows a guy who is from IIT+IIM. I said so what? What is so special about that? His reply was (that too in a very harsh tone), "Do you know the worth of such a guy? He will be earning at least 50 lakhs/annum". I wasn't very impressed by that answer because I personally know many small businessmen who earn way more than that. But what saddened me was, it still do, that why do we measure the success of a scholar through how much he/she earns.

Whatever you say if you are from IIT, 300/400 students in IIT will be placed in proper companies. But if you are from outside you really have to struggle hard to reach the position where IITians are and the percentage is low, say 100/3 crore as total undergraduate students in india is 3.06 crore. So go to IIT instead of listening to succeed of non IITians.

Totally agreed, majority of JEE Aspirants as well as Engineers in the rat race are because of peer pressure. Instead they should speak up for themselves wherever they are now and choose an appropriate career path. And also parents should be approachable.
True even I would go to nit this year... But i completely agree.. Even if I m fed of studying, I can't give up.. I need to study with no mood, interest. I have 98.7 percentile in mains yet this society makes me feel It's not enough.Don't know what to do
With all due respect, you come from a well educated and a very well settled family but for a lot of people who are from lower middle class or poor background can't persue things as you did because of all the obstacles this society puts on them. Most of them think themselves as a failure and move on with life.
That's why it is important to apply for scholarships. I know it's easier said than done but the directive is to never stop trying. But of course, I do agree with you. Not everyone gets the same opportunities or start from the same platform. But it is not impossible.
If someone thinks they are poor, they should ask their parents why didn't they earn enough money that would take care of their children, even if they would fail professionally.

as a current nitian i can bet on it ki yaha bhi halat kharab hai, no placements and no jobs despite the fact that your degree is from nit. Instead of focusing on skills recruiters heavily focus on the branch or specialisation of your majors (CSe)...the job market usually tends to be conservative in India and since I am from another branch rather than computer science there are no openings and at this point it makes no sense or real difference where you are graduating from. What matters is what branch of engineering you are specialising in..

It's not only about society and relatives but the colleges. Private colleges are just opened for buisness, they just take in money and don't care about students. There's no competition or regulation on them

Agreed
You explained this well 👍

I belong from a tier 3 college and now I'm working in Amazon. Tbh it doesn’t matter where u come from what matters is what you bring along to the table.
College name bhaiya
Does percentage still matters in Amazon after 2-3 years of experience
@@dummybro499 it depends but mostly no. Considering you have 3 years of work experience - it shouldn't matter. I may be wrong as I don't know how it works for Amazon

There is lots of options there. Germany is heaven for students.
It is very depressing. I am personally going through this phase of my life of studying in a tier 3 college.
Sir Apne meri ankhe kholdi ... Lot of encouragement and confidence in your story.
But what saddened me was, it still do, that why do we measure the success of a scholar through how much he/she earns.
the way you speak in Hindi it sounds good and it helps to connect. You are a good orator (regardless of any language.)
Im glad that I avoided IIT and made my decision wisely unlike my friends who were forced to persue this , regardless of their interests.

Kudos to you Bharat! You just summed up every single thing right from the school system in India that ends up messing students' minds up, rather than uplifting them to grow up to be who they want to be. Graduating from an engineering college I resonate with everything you talked about in this video!
Your videos give us viewers so much hope for a better future. Thank you for your ever inspiring videos :)))

So where is your talent bro by complaining about system you can't achieve anything except some views

as a current nitian i can bet on it ki yaha bhi halat kharab hai, no placements and no jobs despite the fact that your degree is from nit.

With all due respect IIT Bombay is indeed a prestigious college and recognised in whole world. But it's rank is 150ish.
The highest any indian University have got is of IISc(around 90 or something) which is just brilliant in it's field.
The problem is Indian students have a mindset of getting job.
They just want hefty packages. If every student going in IITs utilises it's resources greatly it will surely get in tier of top universities.
This is where IISc beats IITs. They have a rigorous curriculum and they make their students use it Their resources wisely.
