This guy is totally talking in the abstract. Christianity and any theological talk is not abstract, it addresses the sinner’s desperate condition and his only way of salvation in Jesus Christ. All theology is personal and and practical, addressing the sinner personally. A lot of these Barthian scholars sound more like philosophers than theologians. Theology is not philosophy, but at its core it addresses the sinner’s lost condition and his only hope in Jesus Christ.
I would love to see Wright's response since he was present at the meeting. Is there a link to the larger conference? Thanks
