I'm 71 also, and while some of the young performers are quite good , I still prefer the original artists much more. . Do you like the real Elvis or an Elvis impersonator? My advice to the young artists is stop covering and write your own music. Maybe someday people will imitate you.

I remember seeing Elvis on the the Ed Sullivan show, on our black and white TV, when I was in second grade. They blacked out the bottom half of the screen during his performance because of his hip gyrations. Times have changed.

Wow! Am sat teary-eyed (at 64 years old) after listening to this. Memories of my late father coming into my bedroom when I was listening to this album (LZ4) for the first time (about 1975). Didn’t hear his knock, as I always listened to an album with headphones the first time. The look on his face at my ‘rapture’ was ‘classic’. Just shrugged my shoulders and he shook his head and left. Amazing version and ‘respect’ to your musicians! ❤

I dunno, there is such thing as too polished. The vocals of the song really don't lend themselves to a clean female voice. I would wager if there was no visual of the woman, there would not be as many compliments. The guitar was excellent, both technique and sound.

When I listen to these songs I feel like I'm 5,10yr old again this was my childhood my dad paved the path of what lead me to love Rock,Metal ,Jazz ,Blues. Lot of people don't even realize this song has been played by more people than any other song in history.
You know why because it's the best song ever written.
And they'll never be another one like it, it's one of a kind.
That is simply not true. Summertime by George Gershwin and DuBose Heyward or Yesterday by the Beatles, depending on which source, has the distinction of being the most covered song. I didn't even see Stairway To Heaven listed; not even on a top 50 list.

Hey! so good! I was a college student about your age in Miami 1971 and used to go to "small" clubs where the Zeppelin were preforming. We could get up in their face, it was so small. Now I'm 70...ha. Thanks for the memories. Great job!

As a person of age that is I was around when this first came out and listened to it thousands of times, the guitar playing was absolutely spot on and so was the drumming, I was listening for faults like so many have done in the past, couldn’t find any. I’m rattling my brains trying to think of another female singing this song and I can’t, but it was so nice, you done it justice young lady, well done all of you.

Awesome job... I still remember my older sister listening to this song over and over on a crappy old cassette player when we were vacationing on the shore of Lake Superior as kids. It is sort of a haunting memory, as it was pretty remote and peaceful place at the time. I was born in 1964, but it feels like my brain was born about 1971.

It's like a time machine if only for a fleeting moment, I was 16 and loved this song the moment I heard it and always will. It's like the first time my dad listened to knocking on heavens by guns and roses the remake of Clapton's song and started crying it just sticks with you. I thought I would never see him cry over a song on the radio.

It was 1977 when I accidentally entered a movie house showing Led Zepp concert and it was the Stairway to Heaven on the top of it beautifully being played...I never forget this version til I reach 16....Masterfully Created!

so i just listened to the above video for a second time to see if what you said is true. for the introductory, instrumental part of the video, you are right. there is definitely the sound of a flute to accompany the electric guitar and drums. however, once she starts singing, the flute goes away, and all i hear are the electric guitar and drums
There is overdubbing guitars and vocals, synth ? Flute and bass as I hear it. Anyway it sounds great!
