I bought one of these a few months ago. It has replaced my beloved Native Slayer Max 10. The Hobie is more stable on the water due mostly from the low seat which I really like. I installed the Turbo Fins, and made myself a larger rudder from 1/8" aluminum. The boat tracks like it is on rails now, and jumps out of the hole. One drawback is that it is a noisy hull that will slap as the waves roll in. It floats very nicely. I also added a fish finder, and installed 4 rod holders. Lastly, I added two carry handles at the stern, and at the bow. I love this little kayak, even with no reverse, and a slappy hull. Oh, and I think it's the sleekest ride on the pond. Just look at those lines, like a Rybovich. In July I paid $1,629 in NH.

Are the Hobie logos & branding molded in the kayak, or are they just stickers like on the original Passport models? I really like this blue slate color, better than my little Ocean blue 2016 Hobie sport.
