Well good food for thought. I'm in a ocean kayak Trident for bigger waters. Hoping to upgrade next fall. Looking at different models now. May just add a Bixpy to my Trident. Really like the old town salty, Hobie revolution13, Hobie outback ..and now I'm going to add this and the compass to the possibilities. Mostly want to chase trout, salmon and walleye in the great lakes...with something I can car top. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for sharing. I have two 22' ascend paddle kayaks and am looking to upgrade, the passports seem like a good value for what you get without jumping up to the 5k mark

What do you think about their inflatable units? I noticed you talk a lot about portability.

I don't know much about the inflatable kayaks. Sounds like a good idea if you want to take one on a trip and just want to pack something like this in the car. I like to fish, so I'd be worried about snagging it with a hook. If you get one, let me know how you like it. Thanks, Dan
