One question which I ask myself is why are there not so many graves as there should have been people? For years I have visited old world "churches" and "cathedrals" (at least their name testify to their original purpose - cathode) but one thing which has struck me time and again is the sparse amount of graves for the population at the time, or what should have been the population at the time, given that each of us have 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, 16 great great-grandparents, and so on, there should be loads of gravestones, far more than there appear to be, even when used as pavers?!? Just like all the empty city photos, there appears to be a definite lack of populace back in the day!
hi Kate its not something ive gave much though to until now...We know our give history is a lie so anything is possible and the landscape back then may of been a lot different than it is today.
