Sat in a fireside chair in Nottingham aged seventy three and I'm a child again with my dad on one if the last trolley buses, upstairs, moving the backrest that they used to have, so that the bus could set off on the return journey ... Where did all the time go?
Love the photo of High Southwick Junior School . One half for the boys (in Kings Road) the Goschen Street half for girls. My twin sister and I were segregated when we went there from 1959 to 1963
Hell, if I had known how they were going to rip this place to shreds when I left in 1975, I would perhaps have taken more notice of what was there! 46 years later there is little to recognise.
Wonderful memories. We spent many a Saturday afternoon in the Brewery Tap after a Friday night in the Mayfair. Thank you for this. My musical tastes have mellowed since headbanging at the Mayfair, could you please tell me what the beautiful soundtrack to this video is?
