Now all you need is to make a slide lock to keep it open with the spring installed. Should be simple to design but may have to redo some existing parts to integrate it well. Nice work.

i feel like a slide lock to hold it open would be a welcome addition to this mod. also something to keep the slide locked forward completely when primed. perhaps a smaller gauge wire and longer spring? lighten the additional load on the prime, but kick the slide completely forward on the release, might even address the dart issue with the printed mags...
yeah the slide lock to hold the slide open would be interesting. However the blaster has a slide lock to keep it locked forward after prime. so thats all good. And about the spring, I tested all the once that where available to me without custom making my own and the one I selected for my shop is the best compromise. A smaller wire is not really an option because if you go smaller it will get caught between the barrel and the slide as there is just a little room between the two. I tested smaller wire diameters as well and they all failed for that reason.
I absolutely love slide-return on blasters and I'm definitely doing this one since its Rainbow approved ;) but I do have 2 questions. Does the Slam-fire still work? and where can I buy that Unicorn sign that's in the background?
hehe, well, Slamfire does still work, however it feels slightly different because the slide wants to move without our hand moving forward. That unicorn sign is actually a paper bag and it got send to me by my friend Alex from Sweden. I am not sure where to get it. Sorry!
you mean like a T-pull kinda thing? yeah fair enough, however that would defeat the looks and the means of it being an in-game replica of the Cyberpunk 2077 pistol.
@@RainbowCircus Argus Modworks made a T-pull for it that doesn't really take away much from the Lizzie/Omaha look of it. That said, what I want to do with the design is make something resembling the magnum from halo using the gecko's system
agreed, but on the other hand it also shows what a great product it is if four different companies are trying to copy it. And truth be told, no clone has ever been able to come close to a well tuned printed Gecko in terms of performance and accuracy :)

Where did you originall obtain that spring from? >16mm ID springs seems hard to find.

I feel like it would be more fluid if it was used with an extended slide rear so you can prime it from the back instead of pulling on the front
