Wow what amazing history! Thank you for sharing! How beautiful that Rock and Hustle dance pulled from so many influences to create something new and went on to influence the world! Excellent work Willie!

Hip Hop is culture. Break dancing has been around years before the 70's.

This was a great interview with lots of historical facts, that I didn't know about. I like when he said at the end they're going to show us the missing pieces of history. Does anyone know when will his documentary be released, or any information about who else will be featured in this doc? Great job, so far, but we need more details, this is long overdue! I like that he's being inclusive, and what he said about the power and importance of musical influence. ✌😎❤🇵🇷

Frank Rojas, also Puerto Rican, and also a early Rock Dancer, confirms this style came from the black people in his neighborhood...not indirect like old tap and Nicholas Brothers

So the influence of “top rocking” came from tap dancing🤔 tap dancing came out of the jazz era. So basically you were influenced by dances moves from the black community.
