  • When I fitted my new Hall effect sensor I didn’t quite get the timing right and so I’ve got to correct that issue. Available on the internet are plans for a simple test box that allows you to correctly time and set your Hall effect sensor.
In this I put one together using the simplest method with out the pretty box with most of the parts purchased from eBay and Amazon. It turns out it’s very simple wiring and easy to do. All the credit has to go to the author of the document who really explains it all so very well.

Thanks for the information especially the link to the PDF diagram but the actual video is useless (NO Offence) you can't see what you are doing because it's out of shot.

I know how hard it is to do decent videos, but when you are testing them it would be wonderful to see what you are doing instead of just looking at your strippers your heat gun and your boxes of connections. I appreciate the effort though.

Excuse me, you know how to fix the turn signal lights?

It all depends on the fault. I did spend a few hours fixing my Ducati indicators which turned out to be an intermittent fault with the relay. You can do it by being patient with the multimeter and the wiring diagram.

Dude, at no time do you really explain what you're doing, and we're just watching you soldering wires. A nice overview would be helpful.
