Are unitarians and/or Restitutio recommending this book for those of us who reject Trinitarianism?

Hey Richard, yes we recommend this book. I can't say that I'm fully convinced of Perriman's view of Phil 2.6-9, but the rest of the book's treatment of alleged pre-existence texts is spot on. Check it out and see what you think.

Perhaps Jesus was directed to preach only to the Jews for the very fact that were he to preach and perform miracles to/for the Gentile world, he would undoubtedly be called "God" ... and this would have thrown Jesus' identity as a human SON of God way out of proportion...as it soon did. God knew the message and identity of his son needed to be fully and solidly entrenched among Jews before spreading to the polytheistic Greco Roman world.

And yet it still didn’t take long before the Greek way of looking at him held sway over the leaders of the Christian religion. *sigh*

God Jesus pre-existed? Some one who is pictures as in the form of a God is God? What God? Which God? Whose God? God of the great Delusion of Trinity?
