Really enjoyed hearing Rick's journey. I love how he came full circle, answering his 10 year old self's question decades later with so simple an answer to such profound a question. Reminds me of Jesus embracing little children and asking us to just believe like they do.

That's always intetesting how helpful people (the few that will discuss it) go to the egg or water, steam, ice, etc. It's not the "mystery" it's that we don't see it taught in the Bible.

I also went through that phase of logical fallacy thinking that because something that was widely accepted by the majority must have some kind of merit to it. So I tried to look at the Trinity from an objective open mind. However the more I took in the more ridiculous it all became. Then I started studying the History of Christianity with an emphasis on the 4th century. That was what convinced me beyond any shadow of a doubt that Nicene Christianity, in any form, was heretical blasphemy.
I had grown up as Catholic and attended their private schools. But the Trinity was something I strongly rejected from the very first time I heard about it. (In the 2nd grade with Sister Mary Alice.)
I just fount this channel and I absolutely love it. Thank you!

I appreciate what you are doing with your "One God Over All" classes to help dispel the triad god myth to those being deceived. However for me personally it would be like going back to the second grade in hopes of learning something I didn't already know. But for those who are struggling with the Trinity and or knowing the true God you work is very valuable. Keep up the good work. You have been blessed with an incredible ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

God is not the author of confusion. The Trinity is a combination of Greek philosophy and church doctrine. The church had already started to turn from Paul's doctrine by 2 Timothy. The turning continued and became more and more political. Unfortunately the god of this world runs most of that scene. He is also the author of confusion, even from in the garden, mixing knowledge of good with evil ... truth with subtle lies. Nothing good can come from an evil tree ... James ch3 is a great litmus test for doctrine...
    Concluding...James 3:16-17
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Again God is not confusing or confused,... neither is his son!
    Thanks for the interview!

The Trinity is a pagan belief and NOT Christian. I often hear people use John 1: 1-18 to try an prove it, but then you remind them that there is TWO mentioned at John 1 and NOT three. John 1:18 tell us that Jesus is the "only begotten God" (Grk Mono-genes) Some translations dishonestly translate it as "Only begotten son" which is wrong !

Was really interested in hearing this guy’s story but he really spent a lot of time talking about superfluous stuff and going on. Wish he would’ve spent more time talking about his views, what he struggled to believe in exactly, any implications of his beliefs.

Trinity Delusion is basically about God Jesus with some frills added to make 1 + 1 + 1 = 1 x 1 x 1 = one, compound one, not three of mad mad mad Trinity math. Like three-headed God with a three-faced head. The it (spirit of God) is transgender as 'he' for God the Holy Ghost. Son the Son is pre-human Jesus? Great is God. What the heck is 'God'? What is God? What God? Which God? Whose God?

How would you define the control you think JWs exert?
From my experience all they do is give council on christian living. Probably the exact same council you received from your evangelical church, Which you praised. I have to assume you exclusively mean there stance on disfellowshipping?
If your decision isn't to live by bible principles, Why bother with searching for the true church at all ??

You're lying. You were never a JW.
It's not possible you would get something so simple as the resurrection wrong if you were.
They absolutely DO believe People outside of the organization will be resurrected. In fact, they teach that the VAST Majority Of mankind is entitled to that blessing.
Maybe you should get their basic doctrines correct before you come on here pretending to be one of them, yeah?

I didn’t say I am one of them but that I used to be one of them. I was a JW from 2009-2015. Baptized in 2011. I know what they teach. They teach that if you don’t come into Jehovah’s Ark or Organization then you won’t be resurrected. Now they teach that you can repent in the Great Trib. They have flip flopped on the doctrine of Sodom and Gomorrah coming back in the resurrection. They don’t believe Adam and Eve will be resurrected. JW’s believe that if you die in Armageddon then you will NOT be resurrected. They teach that this is the judgement brought down upon you. I’m a Bible Student. Russell taught that EVERYONE including Adam and Eve will come back in the resurrection. We believe that Jesus is a Ransom for all. Also in the 1923 WT Rutherford changed the doctrine that the Sheep and Goats separation from the whole Millennial Reign of Christ to that they separation is for the end of this system. Therefore if we don’t believe by the end then we will be goats. It was in 2013 WT that I sat through that changed this.

Serious question for you small Unitarian churches, Do you believe you are the body and bride of Christ? As small and disjointed as your churches are?
I'm not putting you down or anything like that, it's just obvious you MUST believe that's true. That of course means The non-unitarians out there (which is pretty much everyone else) are something else entirely. Scripturally speaking, We know what that would be. But, my point is, how can Christs bride be so small??
I know it's a narrow gate and everything But Christ is supposed to be head of the Christian Congregation. He's supposed to be leading and guiding you. You're not even unified. Christ Just seems like a much better leader than that.

I'm not trinitarian. But you're right in a sense, I use the same argument with them. The idea that all of these churches are Christ's body when they aren't even unified among themselves proves that's BS.

    • @MultipleGrievance

They are correct to assert that question. It's one of the most obvious that should be asked.
I abhor catholicism. They are literally the anti christ as far as i'm concerned. Or at least as close to it as we've ever seen. Perhaps there will be another before the end, But currently The vatican takes the cake When it comes to misrepresenting Christ.
But you didn't answer my question.
Regardless of the denomination, How can you consider yourself Christ's bride If you aren't even unified among yourselves?

Everyone anointed by God are messiahs. It simply means anointed. King Cyrus was a messiah of Hod because he was anointed to fufill Gods word. The word messiah lost its original meaning over the mellinia.

    • @ken440
      @ken440 ปีที่แล้ว

Thats right. Just as Christ is the greek version of everything you say here. All Christians are christs, we are not5 The christ, but we are christs, in fact scripture tells us we are "in christ" which is "in anointing" but religious tradition has turned the words Massiah and Christ (see i just capitalized them!) into god beings. The same spirit that raised the anointed one from the dead resides in the believer, so therefor all are anointed in the ecclesia.

@@RoseSharon7777 I agree with you except on your point of the "New covenant" because as the old covenant that Jesus fulfilled is said by Paul to be "passing away" hasnt gone yet! (Jews still hold to it in part) Then as a legal document between God and His chosen nation which was a law guarded conduit to the promised "seed of the woman" the anointed one who is to destroy the work of the devil, then it legaly still exists between God and His chosen people. (the nation of Israel is dispersed not yet fully woken... a kind of "holding pattern") The New Covenant legally must naturally be with those same parties. So will be renewed by God with Israel in the eskaton.
We are a new creation neither Jew (nor gentile) and are a new man, a new set aside people, anointed as Jesus was in same spirit to be his brethren, the elect, in the age to come, reigning in glory from his, Jesus, throne of rightiousness. We are the New Sons Of God, not a legal covenant. This is the "secret (mystery) hid in God," and is said that "if the spirit enemy knew they would not have killed the lamb of God." (eph, romans, corrinthians etc)
The other covenants still stand, abrahamic covenant, noaic covenant and even the salt covenant.
The old law covenant of the Jews through Moses is not yet revoked, just fulfilled in its purpose and we are not Jews.
We are a new creation, bought in the blood of the lamb, a free given covering, not a legal contract through law.
Hope that clarified what has plagued religious tradition for years.

Romans 1:3-4 would solve the trinity issue if people would actually comprehend what both verses are actually communicating. Especially the last 6 words.

Would you please explain this in further detail? I'm reading the passage but not understanding what you mean exactly, especially about the last six words.
Are you pointing to how God's raising Jesus from the dead is God's way of demonstrating or testifying to all that Jesus is his Anointed One, kind of like Acts 17:31?

    • @ken440
      @ken440 ปีที่แล้ว

@@RoseSharon7777 I would agree with you here too except the last sentence. Whether she had sex or not, the 100% human son she birthed was a special creation by God who "overshadowed her' as Gabriel tells us. Formed the "second Adam" in the womb where because of the placental wall the baby, as perfect as the first Adam, made of the same materials, remained blood separate from his mother. Jesus is 100% human just as the first Adam was 100% human. "Overshadow a woman" has a strong sexual meaning. It was something the rebel angels (watchers) did in Gen6, (took who they liked from daughters of men.... not confettii and dressed in white) in a sinful rebellious way. They set the precedent. How does that sound?
