We wish every single one of you a happy and healthy New Year! We appreciate every single one of you that takes time to watch, subscribe, comment and like! We will see you soon in 2024! Comment below some of your favorite things you learned from our first year on TH-cam 😎😎 Happy 2024! 🎉🎉 “Car building is fun! Let’s Keep it that way!” Ian and Jamie Roussel
Your years of building vehicles is paying off with the recognition from manufacturers. This is, in my opinion, a giant leap in you becoming the premier builder of your generation. Also, Jamie is producing professional videos. Love watching your progress and will remember those who support you two.
i think the decision to making your own windows was a spot an call!!!!! the windows shapes and size is spot on the flow from air clearer to other is super!! Dude I am struggling to make back window in Kona#5 this helps tons!
All the windows look great just as they are. I'd say to forget the "portholes", never liked them even on vans. The smooth, rounded roof lines are perfect.
I watched the roof come together on the Chevy yesterday. It's looking fantastic. I could see the VW in the background, so glad you opted to rethink the rear windows you nailed it with split window. Perfect.
Those spilt windows look killer on that VW. Outstanding job on cutting and fabing the frames. Wishing you two a Happy New Year and a very successful 2024.
Happy and lots of successful builds for the new year for both of you . Glad you took the route for the twin rear windows . I also vouched for that on TH-cam.
I have been watching your shows on TV for years. I finally found you on TH-cam! Crazy how you started welding gutters in NY to doing your passion! I will definitely be watching 👀 from now on! I know a little about fiberglass. Sux!! 😆 I used to make epoxy vacuum carbon fiber bumpers for 911's years ago. Thanks for all the teaching and metal lessons Ian!! 🙏 And thanks Jamie for being director/video editor!! 🎉
Ian, after all your shows I have seen it's still amazing how you can work without measuring. You are the rightful heir to the throne of Big Daddy, and Chuck Barris.❤
I always liked the small back window on the very early bugs. Split window would be great. I've done some fiberglass work and Evercoat is one of the best, if not the best.
Jamie, good job on video editing. Much improvement! Ian, you make it look easy... some parts are easy, and some parts are not... thanks for the entertainment...
You facegram... legend...i love how you approach a job..you're more like a sculptor than a car fabricator ... can never doubt you're ideas either you can make just about anything work... happy new years guys
It’s you ian , it looks alien, another great episode glad you didn’t find any windows for the quarters it has enough, I have great faith in you and I am sure you could have made some with your bubble top experience
Retro fitting the split window takes you back to the first models of the VW Bug. Clever idea. Amazing just how many versions of the common VW that have been created and no two alike.
the help from the manufactures is a smart move on their part. Ian you deserve their support you do some amazing work. Hoping more will join evercoat. they will be my go to body working supplies.
They sell all kinds of fancy pvc trim moldings at home depot if you want to get fancy with it. Looking awesome so far man love the split window. Maybe evercoat will send you some of their high build primer when you're ready. The slick and sand or superbuild and the feather fill G2 are all great products. Love it! 😉✌
Definitely digging the split window work done in this video as compared to the mocked up cat eyes you could see in the background of the last chevy video! Lookin awesome!
Great idea ,it looks like the old delivery vans fron the 40s. I seen the bug in the last video with the cat eye windows on and thought omg it looks ugly. I was wondering if i missed a video. That thing is awesome!
It's getting cooler by the episode, great job on the Windows, really gives it a nostalgic touch. Insane, can't wait to see the next video. I'm supposed to be working but I can't help but watch anticipating the outcome! LOL
