I really do favor the 71 - 75 Suzuki Enduro. TS 125, TS 185, TS 250 and TS400. That's all I look for to restore and sell. I also have done a few TM's and RM's.

Sounds good, looks good. I have a personal dislike for electric starts on dirt bikes especially small ones. The added weight of the starter, probably a bigger alternator and a slightly bigger battery all seemed so useless and more so in 1975. Now Honda is making dual purpose bikes that even with all the plastic are tipping the scales at 285 wet. I've never had a 125 that weighed over 220 even in street legal trim. What is going on?

I believe Suzuki was promoting the TC185 as a trail bike, rather than an enduro or racing bike. An electric start is nice if you are stalled on a steep trail. I agree the weight is definitely a negative. I look at it as an old person's trail bike, which is a great description of what I am. LOL

@@rizingsonmotorcycles1240 I'm old too. Rented a car last week that had motorized tilt steering, wonder what that cost to replace. Being something handy is one thing, stupid, overweight and lazy is another.

My 1976 CanAm 125 was a street legal rocket but getting parts would be a nightmare even in a the world's oldest junkyard. Making one run again would mean a new Bosch ignition, finding a Bing carb and probably a new Rotax rotary valve engine. Now I've turned a barn find into a $4,000 bike, what's the point of that? I did mention I was old yes?
