Hi, Natasha. I live in the US, my Mom lives in Russia. March 2021 my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had my mammogram November 2019 and I was strongly recommended to get biopsy done. But I was in disbelief until my Moms diagnosis. I finally was convinced to get my biopsy done and in April 2021 I was also diagnosed with breast cancer. My Mom at that moment was 68 and I was 47. I had invasive ductal carcinoma and my mom had lobular carcinoma. My family history has breast cancer from both sides of my parents but there is no genetics involved. My best wishes to you and your Mom…. God Bless you two…❤️🙏🏻
Natasha, I want you to know that there are many, many prayers being lifted up to God for your complete recovery. This journey is one that you will walk with friends and family that love you and want to see you live to a very old age. I know your parents...I love them dearly...they love the Lord and they love you so very much. I had breast cancer the same time you and your mom did...we went through it with different procedures, but all of us have the same Healer in Jesus...He is the One that brings us through from diagnosis to recovery, and He is going before you, preparing the way, leading you and healing your body every minute of the day. You are a beautiful woman with a strong countenance, and your message will reach the hearts and minds of others with similar conditions. We are flesh and blood, but its the spirit, the soul, that matters, and that's what lives on! ❤
Thanks for sharing your story and helping others. My mom, sister and I have all had breast cancer...also with low Oncotype scores and nothing at all found in genetic testing including BRCA mutation. We are all well to the best of our knowledge. I am 58 and my lobular type estrogen receptive cancer was found on regular yearly mammogram ( lucky because lobular very hard to see) in autumn of 2022.. That prompted my sister who is a year younger than me to go get a mammogram because she never gets them. She had a small stage one ductal type also estrogen receptive . So we both had surgery within days of one another . Crazy. No node involvement was found. We are menopausal and so we are on the anastrozole as well. She has no side effects and I have the joint stiffness mainly in the morning but its very tolerable. Our mom had stage 1 ductal estrogen receptive at 54. Opted not to take tamoxifen ( anastrozole didn't exist ) and was cancer free for 20 years with just lumpectomy and radiation. At 74 she had another stage 1 ductal same breast and can't have radiation twice in same breast so had mastectomy. Again refused the tamoxifen. Then at 80 mammogram found stage 2 ( due to size) lobular in remaining breast. Had mastectomy and refused anastrozole . She is going to be 88 and she is fabulous and healthy . We don't know why we all got it....we are healthy eaters, not overweight, exercisers. We consider ourselves fortunate all in all that's for sure. I am so happy you are doing well with your medications so far and you are going to do great.
Keep moving forward and do what you think and feel is best! Listen to yourself and your body. Just live life every day because that's the best any of us can do!

Hello beautiful inspirational woman :) I had some friends who had been through cancer, fasting for a long period (like 9 days) helped them healing. You need to prepare for this, but there is some information about it. Normally when you don´t feed these cells, they die. So your own body heals itself. It could be a possibility. I’m also on Letrozole. Have been eating very little added sugars. Seems to help my stomach feel a bit better. Not crazy about being on hormone blockers, but also would not be crazy about metastasis. Was already bursting out of two lymph nodes..

sux, get well soon. one question. what type of fluid was that inside? i wasnt too clear on how that ended up inside there. Also how did they diagnose it as stage 4? thanks
I’m not sure what the fluid is called but it’s pretty common to have pleural effusion when you have pneumonia or from cancer in your pluera space. I had nodules in my chest wall so it disrupted the normal process of draining of your lungs do. They just call it stage 4 when cancer is found in another place than where it started basically. It’s no longer in my breast at all. My latest pet scan has cleared my lungs and I’m doing awesome. I will just have to remain on the medications so no new cells start to grow into anything. I’m not a doctor so I’m not sure if I’m explaining things well.
Hi Natasha! I am also a fitness instructor and am so encouraged by your story! Just been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. How much did the tumors shrink by after taking the medication? Thanks so much for all you do!
With the first diagnosis, I had the lumpectomy and it was removed. This time around, I actually didn’t have tumors but there was a thickening in the wall of my chest and the pleural effusion tested positive. After my first pet scan 3 months later, everything had cleared. I’ve had 2 pet scans since and nothing shows up so I just stay on the medications as long as they work at this point. I take Kisqali, anastrozole and get a monthly lupron shot. Wishing you all the best 🫶
We have so much in common. My mom also had BC. And her mom too (my grandmother) and two of her sisters (my aunts). Then my cousin got ovarian cancer and lastly I got BC myself. And guess what. No BRACA or other cancer genes for any of us. There is definitely a lot more going on than the genetic tests we have now can show. And it would be really nice to know HOW/WHY we got it, but I don’t think any of us will ever know. Good luck to you and your beautiful mom❤.
@@NatashaFitnessYogaPilates thank you. I am hoping hard for the same thing. At the moment all of us are still here except my grandmother who died in her mid 90s of something unrelated. I have to have faith that they will figure this thing out for us. All of us. It’s such a cruel disease that uses your “womanness” to harm you. I can’t understand why nature even allows it to happen. We HAVE to find a cure or at the very least a maintenance treatment that we can live with. Until then we will do everything we can to keep surviving. And I pray we do all the right things and get all the right results💕
I haven’t been in your comments before right now. What those people may have been trying to say is, many cancer survivors who were Ned after therapy who got the shot/s ended up with raging cancer coming back. I have a 16 yr old niece that now has 2 forms of arthritis, her mom has Bell’s palsy and granddad died abruptly. They all got the shot because they wanted to fly on a airplane for vacation. Many other people close to our family have had serious health conditions pop up after they got the shot. I’m sure most people commenting about the shot were just trying to be helpful, I hope. I just found your channel tonight! ❤Happy and optimistic is definitely the way to be!
@@NatashaFitnessYogaPilates yes. That was in 2010/2011. So crazy. And I was in the middle of an adoption too. My daughter is 12 now. 😁 I enjoyed hearing your story. It pays to do all the preventative tests. Just had a colonoscopy. Precancerous polyps. But all good. ❤️
Hi! I’m rooting for you and your mom on this hellish journey! My dad was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in March of 2021 while I was simultaneously diagnosed with ER/PR+ breast cancer. I was 46 with a 2 year old daughter. Carbs are a huge trigger for my hot flashes. I’m on T. Good luck! Thank you for sharing your journey. Btw, I’m right across the bay in Oakland 💜
Hi Natasha! I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in August and I am on letrozole and abemaciclib. About a month ago I had intense itching only on my tattoo ink aswell and hives! It lasted about 2 weeks. X
Wild! It rotates to different ones of my tattoos. Gets bumpy (hives) and itchy but luckily it goes away pretty quickly especially with a cream. I had one other person that happened to them too! Probably not as many older ladies with this that have tattoos maybe 🙊
i take the hormones for severe anemia from heavy bleeding (since 43) and had taken bc pills for many years and 2 pregnancies and now i want to stay on it for quality of life. i know if i get cancer i can't really take pill/patch anymore. I recommend vaginal estrogen though. I don't think it affects cancer at all. I had urinary and irritation issues until i started on estradiol cream 2x week since i turned 49. just so you know, you have more hormones in pregnancy then you'll ever have from the pill.
Thanks for sharing! I realized to stay in ketosis, I have to focus more on healthy fats and not get too crazy with protein. That can turn into glucose too if you overdo it. Finding my stride now.
My sister and her daughter had breast cancer at the same time. Diets don’t work for cancer, but do what feels good and be sure to let your Onc know what you are doing.
You can't for certain say that diets wouldn't work for cancer. Where is the proof of that? There's actually studies that ketosis helps. Not just hearsay, but actual studies.
@@Jerseyboondocksagreed. That’s why I’m trying it. ❤ I also want take some hyperbaric chamber appointments to get that oxygen while I’m in ketosis. I just don’t know if there’s more to it though. I know they also use some kind of medication to further suppress glucose but I’m hoping diet along can help. I feel good and I’m eating keto in a healthy way but it is hard!
I think you resonate very wise about the genetics vs metabolic thing. There IS a lot we do not know yet, and those being overly certain it's due to only eating habits should not be taken too serious. We do not even know of every gene and it's coding in our bodies just yet. It could also be an environment thing or a combo AND due to a certain gene not yet known about. I am all pro eating healthy, and eat low carb myself, but cheat a little at times and not that hard core counting the carbs. I do not think a little oatmilk in yr coffee would hurt. (yr coffee should taste good, and life should also be enjoyed while we are here 😊) it's yr habits in the long run, avoiding sugar, processed food, white wheat, pasta, starch and such, adding geeens instead. Make sure to keep electrolytes in balance though, as when starting keto you usually pee out a lot. All the best to you, you'll be fine. 🌸
Yeah I’m not sure how long I can keep up such a strict diet. I’m doing it right now but I go back and forth with thinking it would be better to just eat clean and healthy without this stress about food.
My mom hardly drank and didn't take hormones. I'm 49 and have drank a lot in my life and i have taken pills and am still on low dose pill at 49.. i get my mammograms every year. My mom had br ca 2x and my two female cousins on my maternal side just had breast cancer in their mid 50's. I am prepared to be diagnosed w it. My one cousin just had stage 0, lumpectomy and radiation.
I had Breast Cancer back in 11 years ago I had a Mastectomy Chemotherapy and Hormone Blocking Meds I now have Osteoporosis through being on a medication for that I didn’t realise the one of the side effects was Dental problems I can no longer have teeth removed if that is needed I have to have surgery to just shave the tooth down to under the gum line 😢 so keep up with your Drs about all possible side affects Xx wishing both you and your Mum the best Xx❤❤
I’m sorry you had to deal with all of that. I hate the possible side effects. I’m hoping that my exercise and lifting weights for over 25 years will help me. 🙏🏼
I was just watching something about how they actually use Sugar during pet scans because places cancer is growing lights up as cancer feeds on sugar. I believe your keto diet is the best think you can do to starve the cancer..God bless you and give you a long and healthy life!
Highly recommend that! I listen to everything at 1.5 or 1.75 👍🏼 but not quite sure why you had to be rude about it 😂 why listen at all if I was that annoying to you?

Have you tried using a protein shake as your creamer? Most of them have very low sugar/carbs and they come in so many flavors! It just might save our coffee :)
You are rocking back and forth through the whole video. I would have loved to watch it, but after a few minutes I got so dizzy, that I quit. Maybe a gymball(?) is not the best idea to sit on while recording a video. 🤓
You will likely get used to the new taste of coffee and not be able to go back to the previous version you. drank (especially as far as the sugar goes).
Hi Natasha there is a new pill AOC 1996 in a Lab testing it was able to destroy 70 different types of Cancer , It was named after Anna Olivia Healy who was born in 1996 snd died of Cancer at the age of 9 , It's going through a human trial right now maybe you can look into it seems very promising 🙏🏽
Although soy products are typically low-carb, some experts say tofu is not ideal for people on the keto diet. Soy products are high in estrogen-like nutrients called phytoestrogens, which can affect hormone levels over time. Additionally, many soy products are highly processed, which is a big keto no-no.
Also, found this at the first google search… Yes! You can definitely include tofu in any low-carb diet. As a versatile and nutritious plant-based protein, it is a valuable addition to a vegetarian keto diet when consumed within the daily carb limit. There are relatively fewer carbs in tofu, which makes it suitable for maintaining ketosis
@NatashaFitnessYogaPilates yup. You can Google anything. Like c19 Vax works. Everyone that I know that got it.. got covid. So it didn't work. Soy may be this may be that. But you have breast cancer. Ditch it. BTW love coffee with full fat coconut cream and a little LMNT chocolate. Yes it's salt
We haven’t lived in the same city for 26 years and I lived across the country for almost 9 years. However, it is possible. There’s been talk that Marin, Ca has the highest rate of breast cancer and I’m not too far from there. Maybe 25 miles. There’s really no way of telling, unfortunately.
Soy is unique in that it contains a high concentration of isoflavones, a type of plant estrogen (phytoestrogen) that is similar in function to human estrogen but with much weaker effects. Soy isoflavones can bind to estrogen receptors in the body and cause either weak estrogenic or anti-estrogenic activity. You may want to rethink the Keto diet if you plan on eating tofu. Perhaps you have already been eating tofu for a long time. I think I remember that you need to avoid estrogen. I am just not sure that diet has much to do with anything other than eating a ton of sugar I think just eating a healthy diet would be fine.
@@MissBe737 sadly, oncologists don’t study nutrition and many don’t really understand it. Also not all soy is the same. Organic tofu and edamame is great for you especially with cancer.
You're looking great! Glad to hear the news that you're not experiencing any serious side effects. That's rough that you switched to black coffee, though. Maybe let yourself have one cup a day with one teaspoon (4 grams) of sugar? Your lifestyle is otherwise so healthy. Definitely interested in continuing to hear periodic updates.
Thank you! I’m definitely going to play with different milks without sugar and a little keto types of sweeteners. They are made from monk fruit. It’s gonna take work to figure it out all 😭
You might try adding chocolate powder ( no sugar but tastes good) and cinnamon. I'm also thinking about date milk as a sweeter..just an idea! Hope you feel better , you got this Natasha🙏😘@@NatashaFitnessYogaPilates
I get so annoyed with all these armchair experts giving nutrition advice when they have no qualifications to do so. Please ignore them and their ignorant suggestions and research real experts and their recommendations. I am a registered nurse and have worked in the cancer field and am a big believer in Dr Joel Fuhrman's nutritarian approach. He has a You Tube channel with lots of great information along with a website with comprehensive scientific research. He is very evidenced based which I like. All the best ❤.
Agreed 😂 and thank you! I’ll check it out. So far I’ve just been listening to Thomas Seyfried a PHD who has an impressive resume in research. I’m not 💯 sold on it but I figure it can’t hurt to try keto for few months. ❤
@@NatashaFitnessYogaPilates I'm definitely not a keto fan but again, you must do your own research and not take the word of a random person off You Tube! Both my parents died of cancer and my husband died of a heart attack. This gives me a very compelling reason to eat as healthily as possible! I eat a whole foods plant based diet, not because I love it most, but because I believe it gives me the best chance of not following my parents and husband. I would much prefer to eat lots of fat, dairy and meat but I have put my health and longevity ahead of my food addictions. Most are hooked on these foods and adopt a diet which justifies continuing to eat them. Another person worth researching is Dr Christopher Gardner. He is a nutrition PHD and professor at Stanford Prevention Research Center. He is also a member of Stanford Cancer Institute. A very intelligent man who breaks complex data down into layman's terms.
@@bekind1966 that’s how I love to eat. I’ve been vegetarian since 16. Started eating a little of fish 10 years after that. Doing keto for me is not eating meat and a bunch of fat. Today I had an almond flour waffle with raspberries, blueberries and almond butter, 2nd breakfast: eggs and spinach, lunch: a huge salad with lots of greens, avocado, hummus, mozzarella, and tofu. Then salmon and broccoli for a very early dinner. I’ll “fast” 4pm to 8am. Drinking green tea 🍵 now 💚

Thanks for the feedback 🙄 I’m not a speaker. This is the second talking video I’ve ever done. I’m just trying to share my story in hopes it’s helpful or it makes others feel less alone and maybe inspires people to workout ❤
My doctor also tells me to avoid soy products. I told her I have watched other doctors on TH-cam saying it's just a myth. But my breast surgeon/doctor is very firm, she says: "Even if soy is a plant estrogen (phytoestrogen) and not human estrogen, it is still that- estrogen, hence the name. Not good for ER /PR positive breast cancer patients. 16:00

Well what has changed since 2021? Connect the dots and what was experimental potion was injected into everyone...
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Wow that’s scary. I hope they can find out better genetic testing and a cure soon 😭😭 best wishes to you and your family 🫶

Wow. Bets of luck to both of you! We are so close. I’m in Richmond. ❤️
I hope you stay well I love those exercises videos you make on your TH-cam channel okay
Thank you! No plans to stop! Hoping I continue to feel good. 🙏🏼
i take the hormones for severe anemia from heavy bleeding (since 43) and had taken bc pills for many years and 2 pregnancies and now i want to stay on it for quality of life. i know if i get cancer i can't really take pill/patch anymore. I recommend vaginal estrogen though. I don't think it affects cancer at all. I had urinary and irritation issues until i started on estradiol cream 2x week since i turned 49. just so you know, you have more hormones in pregnancy then you'll ever have from the pill.
Sorry about the itching. Hopefully it will subside. Wishing you good days ahead🙏
Thanks! I hope that’s the worst of it because it’s manageable 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Optimum Nutrition whey protein powder (vanilla ice cream flavor): 4g carbs / 1%. Will this work? 24g protein.
I’m so sorry. I hope they are both doing well 🫶
You can't for certain say that diets wouldn't work for cancer.
Praying for you 🙏🏽
I had Breast Cancer back in 11 years ago I had a Mastectomy Chemotherapy and Hormone Blocking Meds I now have Osteoporosis through being on a medication for that I didn’t realise the one of the side effects was Dental problems I can no longer have teeth removed if that is needed I have to have surgery to just shave the tooth down to under the gum line 😢 so keep up with your Drs about all possible side affects Xx wishing both you and your Mum the best Xx❤❤

Looking great , drink more filtered plain coffee and enjoy more lentils and finish
I wish I could have lentils. They are my favorite. Keto is very strict 😞
Looking great and I understand, enjoy more green onions or spring onions and more watercress and of course more filtered coffee
And enjoy more walking exercise at least 40 minutes if possible

My mom had br cancer in each breast - 60 and 70... for each.. stage 0 for both
Although soy products are typically low-carb, some experts say tofu is not ideal for people on the keto diet. Soy products are high in estrogen-like nutrients called phytoestrogens, which can affect hormone levels over time. Additionally, many soy products are highly processed, which is a big keto no-no.
I would never eat processed soy. It has been proven false that soy affects your hormone levels and it is actually beneficial for people with cancer.
I'm having some pumps at the ink of my tatoo!!! But I'm on Tamoxifen, not Anastrazol
That is so weird! It did not happen for me on tamoxifen!
I wonder if the cancer is from your environment? Just curious since your mom has it too. Does she live in the same city as you?
We haven’t lived in the same city for 26 years and I lived across the country for almost 9 years. However, it is possible. There’s been talk that Marin, Ca has the highest rate of breast cancer and I’m not too far from there. Maybe 25 miles. There’s really no way of telling, unfortunately.
@@NatashaFitnessYogaPilatesOk. I'm so sorry. I hope I'm not annoying. It just makes me think of Erin Brocovich.

Drop the tofu...
Many doctors and researchers have told me otherwise. This has been proven false. It is on the list as a recommended food for breast cancer. 🥳

You're looking great! Glad to hear the news that you're not experiencing any serious side effects. That's rough that you switched to black coffee, though. Maybe let yourself have one cup a day with one teaspoon (4 grams) of sugar? Your lifestyle is otherwise so healthy.

Then salmon and broccoli for a very early dinner. I’ll “fast” 4pm to 8am. Drinking green tea 🍵 now 💚
