I love this. I played the first movement of this concerto memorized with 8 other violinists 3 times this year. I practiced this song so many times I don't even want to hear the name of it again! But it's good to listen to it from time to time.
The first piece of Baroque music I fell in love especially that first movement, and i first heard it on modern instruments, so I bought the whole set of l'estro armonico by vivaldi some 18 years ago,
I'm a beginner, I wanted to work on the Vivaldi A minor concerto, I ordered the music online and started working on it today. I just realised now I've ordered that concerto for two violins instead, quite above my technical level : that's why I was so discouraged trying to sightread it 😂 (it's actually not so hard, but definately harder than the other concerto I planed to work on). Now that I have it I guess I will keep working on it too 😆).
I remember when I first learned this song 10 years ago, I was 9 years old... I always come back to it to remember that was the first song of Vivaldi I’ve learned
That's my first Vivaldi's song too, Big Fela! But in my case, I am learning it at my 32's. Sometimes, I cannot believe in myself, but I hope I go through.
Next to opus 3, no 10, this is my absolute favorite out of L'Estro Armonico concertos! (well, then there's no 1, too) And if it had not been for TwoSetviolin, I'd have never discovered this. I am forever thankful!
That is not necessary my friend, enjoy your music without putting others down for free, literally no one talked about rap here, there's a whole culture, social fights and context behind the hip hop movement, don't talk about what you don't know specially to try to minimize someone, and specially when is about a culture that came from black people that are already marginalized enough, respect the people man.

Wish I had equally skilled accomponist violinist that I could play this with. Playing Solo is in no way comparable to a combination like this and doesn’t nearly bring out the magnitude of this piece

do you ever have a day where you feel as insignificant as the cellos in the second movement
jace 😂😂😂😂 relatable
jace I've played this concerto five or six times as duets with younger kids over the past 7 years. ALWAYS 2ND VIOLIN 😂
Of course! When you have the cembalo part of this and find 35 silent measures in the 2nd movement!
lol I have had that day
That is happening to me Just now... With 35 bars of silence
I'm a beginner, I wanted to work on the Vivaldi A minor concerto, I ordered the music online and started working on it today. Would personally disagree,3rd mov of rv 356 is harder than this plus the 1st move has some iffy bits here and there considering the rest of the price
@@spiffnoblade7731 So....both are quite hard then ?
@@portraitbyelise2309 No I personally wouldn't say so,i think playing this then 356 would be the best choice as it preps you for the harder piece

How did we came all the way from such musical HIGHTS of this superb and soulful masterpiece down to the bottomless pit of RAP music?
Stupid and offensive comment... I'm shocked!

I am looking for a harder version of this concerto made by a russian. Way harder. Do you know where can I find it and hear it?
The best rendition is with Isaac Stern and David Oistrakh. If you want to listen to master violinists with panache, it would be these two.
