The clearest and most even sounding microphones, without protruding any certain unnecessary high frequencies in the high-frequency range: this is the Rode NT2-A microphone and the Neumann TLM 102. Here, of course, I only express my opinion.

here is tip for those who are confused.Look for these things.
    1. which mic has more mid range, specially lowmids.
    2. Listen how 's' on all mics.If its too noticable dont buy it.Its very bad for rock vocals too.

@@Viettzz For sure! I upgraded from the AT2020 so I could tell the difference right away. It sounds clearer in my opinion. I don't understand too much of the technical specs but there's a difference there too. But honestly the AT2020 is great and really keeps up with the TLM 102. Part of me wishes I went with the Rode NT1-A and used the money i saved towards a better interface but I can't complain cause I feel like I'm kinda set with the TLM 102 for a while. Best deal is Superlux 205U (40$ but usb -> Audio technica 2020 -> Neumann 103. I dont undestand why people like Lewitt, it's so high end boosted that it's awful. But VERY important note, girls & gals, think if your voice is dark or bright, if it's dark take brighter microphone, if it's brighter get something opposite which is dark. Too many people fall for "this guy sounds great on this mic" it might not be your case. Good luck to everyone.

@@antarkhisa9223 it's all about what _you_ prefer. Are you going to record mainly your own voice with it, or other singers as well? Is there a specific style you're aiming at?

In vocal test, you should stick to the same part of the same song on each microphone. Difference can easily be spot this way. Otherwise it's so hard to tell.

Upgrade your mic. You will never get professional output with BM800.
Try Lewitt LCT 440 Pure or Rode NT1A

Hey man, u trying to get professional sound from bm800? Honestly it is possible if u get an audio interface like the behringer u phoria the cheapest one and a cable connecting it. After that u can EQ it and you are good to go. Do email me or dm me on insta if u still need help:)

A quick bit of advice. You may have already noticed this and fixed it (this video is over a year old as I write), but you are using mono sources (the mics) yet your stereo image for the speech test is fluttering all over the place. This makes it very difficult to assess the coherence of the signal.
Having said that, the Node NT1-A stood out a mile for me, in both the speech and singing test. I downloaded the audio for this video and had a look at the spectrographic display for all the mics, and the Rode had a consistently clearer outline and definition to the harmonics. It deals with sibilance much better than any of the other mics, at least for the two tests you did.

I wonder what made the mono sources flutter like that. I can defo hear it too.

These microphones shouldn't sound so simliar. It sounds as if too much equipment and post production is being done to make them all sound very similiar in quality.
