A fabulous chronicle of your first days in the park, thanks! We just finished a shorter visit to Kruger, with just 4 days spread across three camps, ending in Berg en Dal. I took over 4,000 photos, your video is an excellent complement to that. Can’t wait for the next installment!

I posted this a while ago as the first of 5 episodes covering our entire trip.
Unfortunately a difficult house move has delayed me putting out the next episode as the renovations have only just started to clear after almost 3 months.
Hopefully by the end of this month I will have the time and capability to upload the next episode so hang in there as I have some great footage to share.

How did you fare with the 100-500 you and your wife?

My wife stayed with her 500mm prime and all footage shown in the video was captured with my 100-500 which I found very versatile with quality outstanding.
Just wondering what camera setup you use ?

I use a Canon R 3 with a 100-55 lens. A go pro 8 for car and general filming and make good use of my iphone 15 for camera facing shots.
Thank you, I have the Canon R7 and we are heading back home to Kruger next August and staying in Berg en Dal, Lower Sabie and Satara. Looking to video a lot more this time but will be doing FHD as not technical enough to learn 4K and colour grading and all that.@@BETTERPHOTOGRAPHYCHANNEL
