well hello book lovers! what are some of your favorite YA books? or have you found that you don't typically get along with the genre?
in case you missed my favorite horror, sci·fi, fantasy, or thriller books - here is my playlist: th-cam.com/play/PL4qnTQzxq5hIhICj38DM3cwyZuQe7-P5l.html&si=KUL_sWV8EfjhBsVq
Tbh, I don't know if I'll make it through the year hell I can't type as it is butI'm doinh my brst 🤠 Still you did a good review!
@@TonyWatchesClosely oh no Tony don't say that! 😭 well thank you appreciate it! always good to see you pop in here. 💜
your notifications are probably blown up from me rn 🤣
I loved the first Shadow and Bone book! Wasn't a fan of the rest of the series but I loved the captain in the 2nd book. (ICR his name) I didn't even finish the 6 of crows duo 😭
The Tabs!! 😍
Full Tilt sounds so interesting!! I need to read it. I love a quick thrilling YA book
🤹♀🎠🎡
yes!! I think you're talking about Nikolai? I didn't love Six of Crows . maybe too hyped.. but I finally started reading Crooked Kingdom and already like it better than SoC!
omg Full Tilt is a fun wild ride! and that poor kid too.. his guilt and regret 😭
Ooo what a great topic to talk about! Only in the past year, have I really given young adult fiction a shot. I never even read it when I was the target demographic. I think it gives me an opportunity to go back and remedy that mistake! Because the only thing I read as a teen was either twilight or Harry Potter 😂
yeah I think YA kinda gets dismissed but there are still some gems out there even if we aren't the demographic imo. maybe I just want nostalgia or maybe I'm just immature for my age 😂 but I had a lot of fun with some of the YA I've read these past couple years. I never did read Twilight or Harry Potter so maybe I'm making up for it lol.
Monsters Born and Made sounds really interesting! 🎡
it was a fun one! the dad kinda pissed me off though.. why are the children supporting the family is what I wanna know! 🎡
@@the_eerie_faerie_tales great parents in YA fantasy are few and far between 🤐
@@DanielReads oh my goodness you're right that may actually be a thing! I never thought about it like that.. hmm I'm gonna keep that in mind now whenever I'm reading YA and see if there are any outliers.
Full tilt and monsters born and made sound really interesting. Despite my advanced age I still think I’d get a lot out of those books🎡
yes those books are a lot of fun and do tackle deep topics.. Monsters Born & Made is about class etc and Full Tilt is about guilt, regret, etc.. even though I'm not in that demographic either I really enjoyed those! 🎡
