Also would recommend anything by Johnny Hiland. More of a traditional country player but you can definitely tell he has rock influences in his playing 🤘

Ted thanks for the comment! Stay consistent with your playing and you’ll be doing level 4 in no time! And no, I am not related to the guy from swift guitar, he has a great channel though!
Teles are normally considered the standard when playing this style but really any Single coil bridge pickup will work. Amp on the edge of break up or a clean amp with a tiny bit of overdrive. To really solidify it add a compressor and some slap back delay and you should be good to go 👍

Boost the drum track and get deep in the pocket. This has to be played with the right feel. 👍
Funny you mention that, this track has bugged me for awhile now…I almost feel like I’m playing over the off beat.

The part where you show the bend in the minor and then the bend in the major in the same key but sounding different was very helpful
