Many thanks, Carole. This was for a request I received from a lady in Australia who wanted a spinning card but with the spinner not visible from the outside. It was a project I really enjoyed working on. xx
Many thanks, Lorna. I feel very strongly about this issue, because I don't like being forced to go to someone's blog.......................so I don't force crafters to go to mine! ☺ ☺ ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Hello Jan, I just made this card and used a square die to do the aperture and some appropriate scoring to get the same effect as you. It's a gorgeous card. Thank you for the demonstration.
Absolutely beautiful! I wish I lived in the UK and I would take your classes. And just FYI - regarding the precision base plate - the reason it is longer than the magnetic base plate is so that the plates to not lat flush on top of one another as is would be difficult to separate the plates. So they made the precision base plate with a lip.....🤗
Absolutely STUNNING!!! I tried another one before yours that called for Cotten thread! My thread must have been too thin because it broke in half when I road-tested it for a second time. I ended up using a one string of mono-filament thread and it worked much better. But, now I’ll use 2 strands per your fantastic video. It never hurts to ensure the thread won’t break after several rounds of winding and spinning!!! You are truly an amazing artist/card maker and I look forward to more of your well thought out and superbly presented videos!!! My best, Karen from Colorado 😘!!!
Hi Jan this is Gil from Michigan what a wonderful wonderful Christmas card they are both beautiful and so stylish and classy but you're stylish and classy lady you do beautiful work undeniably beautiful and your tutorials are extraordinary well put together have a grand and beautiful day your friend across the pond Gale
Hi, Gale. I really appreciate your very kind words and your support! I also glad you like this project, too. ☺ From my side of the pond, happy crafting! JanB.
I have enjoy watching your videos but I just noticed that I like the look of the paper trimmer you are using better than the one Stampin Up has available now.
Hi, Theresa. The trimmer I used in this video was nowhere near as good as the current trimmer. The main problem was that the cutting blades had such a short life-span. You may like to see the review I did of the new trimmer when it first launched and see the improved features: th-cam.com/video/QUMbdp-uYjM/w-d-xo.html xx
I so agree, very relaxing. I sometimes take my tablet in to my kitchen to watch & listen, while I work. Thanks so much Jan for all the hard work you do to make these pretty cards & then putting them together on video & sharing them with us. Hope & pray you had a great God Blessed Christmas. 🕆🎄☃❄🙋

Hi, Tania. I cut a strip off my Grid Paper - it works a treat! ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.

Thanks, Patricia. I adhered a strip of inches from my Grid Paper onto the bar - it works a treat! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

Thanks for the tip, Annie. xx
Very good teacher but am i the only one holding their breath and gritting their teeth as she is working?
Hi, Patricia. Why do you hold your breath and grit your teeth while I'm working??xx
