I just found this tutorial on TH-cam and fell in love with the card. I gave it a try last night. I had to make do with the Lovely as a Tree stamp set since I don’t have anything similar to yours, and I filled in the missing bits with some sponging. It came out perfect. This is easily one of the prettiest cards I’ve ever made! Thanks for sharing.

I like this card so much that I reworked it. Thank you very much for the very good and clear instructions.
I fixed the glitter with hairspray after pressing it on with the bone folder. So only very few particles dissolve.
Glitter can be removed very well with a lint brush of straight surfaces, clothing and even the skin!

I am going to recreate this card but on the inside I'm going to put a Palm Tree and Ocean and say Merry Christmas from Florida! lol. I'll send a pic. Jan, Thanks so much for the info on the sticky sheets. I use them on my colored paper then pass them through the big shot to cut out smaller items and have the sticky sheet to peel off. I never knew I could use them in the way you did today. Thanks for sharing your find!!

WOW! THIS is exciting!! The card is a real dazzler [LOVE it!] but the WOW for me is the adhesive sheet method for applying the Dazzling Diamonds! Sooo much easier than 2-way Glue Pen, [or Glue Stick!] ... love this! Definitely will be doing this Jan ... and thanks ever so much for 'sharing the wealth' ... of knowledge and experience! I love it!! I was taught to do this with the Dryer sheet and Dazzling Diamonds and adhesive. This is so much easier. I will be casing this card but I might add a cardinal or 2 instead of the stars.

Not only do I absolutely love this stunningly beautiful card, but I also love the idea your church has of doing a Celebration of Light instead of Halloween. I'm not familiar with this, but would like to know more. Sounds very nice!

Many thanks, Denise. When halloween is being celebrated, our children will be celebrating the Light by having a Light Party at the Church. This will include eating, drinking, playing games, making crafts - like the Lighthouse - and a bible teaching. The party is open to all children (I'm not sure of the age range), not just church-goers, which means all our children can invite their friends from school, their neighbours, etc.☺ Happy crafting.
