I highly doubt Bonnie even knows what Alaric did. That world was meant to be a one-man prison, not a detention center for supernatural students he couldn't help. And then, this makes her guilty for those students and responsible for Diego's unique control! Or in other words, the 2018 prison world was only meant for a locked up, desiccated Heretic. Not 3 teenage supernatural, one of them vulnerable to the mercy of a full moon for 10 years!

If they did, it would be total bullshit. Kai is a heretic. Those guys were freaky powerful during vampire diaries. Just one of them was enough to handle Stefan and Damon, and they were both nearly 200 years old. Kai is older than Jade so she shouldn't be able to overpower him at all, has more experience than Wendy and can even siphon more magic if need be, and werewolves have never been much of threat in the tvd universe. I'm hoping this was just a part of his plan.
Guys... it was literally shown in the episode.... Kai and Jade were a thing while in the prison world and Kai was the "leader" over the three of them. The way he was talking was very fishy of them. He started off his lies by telling Josie that he didn't want to kill Jo or anyone else, just them two. False, he wanted the entire coven and the wedding party dead. He blew up the chapel, and stabbed himself to become a heretic, knowing that his death would kill the coven no matter what since he was the coven leader. The three psychos and Kai DID hunt and kill each other through their years in the prison world, but they did it for fun. This whole thing, every single interaction between the three teenagers, Kai and the Saltzman family, was planned. Also, even though Kai is a relatively young vampire, he is still powerful as hell. He would still have the full power of the gemini coven, as he is still the leader, because the twins survived and haven't merged yet. He has the magic he absorbed from Luke, and Luke was a pretty strong witch. On TOP OF THAT, he can siphon his vampirism as an infinite source of magic. Making his magic even stronger, and infinite. Even if Diego is a threat from his weird ass wolf form, Kai can siphon magic from wolf venom, taking the lethality of the bite out away.
Even if Diego has to transform everyday for last 10 years, it still doesn't make sense to make him appear like this. Even if by some miracle he learns to control his curse, it should be as if he can either stay in human form and gets turned whenever he wants to. Like hope and klaus and other hybrids. This must be okay for the newbie watchers of legacies But for those who have already seen tvd and to for 3 times already , this just doesn't sit well.

Chill guys if my maths are correct he turned every day for 10 years making it a whole 3650 turns. Any normal werewolf would change once every month and 12 times every year, in order to transform over 3600 times any "normal/ordinary" werewolf would need to get 304 years old. And this dude experienced all of that in the space of 10 years so of course you wouldn't be able to call him a normal werewolf anymore, hence why this transformation kinda doesn't need explanation, he evolved simple.

Chill guys if my maths are correct he turned every day for 10 years making it a whole 3650 turns. Any normal werewolf would change once every month and 12 times every year, in order to transform over 3600 times any "normal/ordinary" werewolf would need to get 304 years old. And this dude experienced all of that in the space of 10 years so of course you wouldn't be able to call him a normal werewolf anymore, hence why this transformation kinda doesn't need explanation, he evolved simple.

Well if you watched the vampire diaries you wud know that Kai was initially a witch and then when damon killed him he had vampire blood in his system so he came back alive as a heretic
