I love it when he praises you and tells you how good your meals are. It is so nice to hear a husband and wife being loving and kind to one another. There is so much bad stuff out there I love seeing you loving one each other.
I love your recipes and I wanna get this grill but with my husband being so ill (I would appreciate your prayers) we're on S.S. and after 45 years of marriage we have to limit what we can buy but I think we really enjoy this grill since he can't get out anymore. Thank you both for the happiness you've brought in our lives.
Steven needs to train other husbands how to do tastings. Most of them say things like,"It's good or yeah". Steven really describes the flavors, textures, etc. plus he is always exuberant.❤
I was born in 1942 and married in 1962. My mother gave me a Betty Crocker cookbook when I got married. I still have it and use it. It is copyright 1961. The chicken Ala king recipe was the first recipes I mastered and I still make it. The recipe is similar to the one you made except only one cup of broth and one cup of milk or cream, and the thickness is just right. I add some frozen peas, and I usually serve it over rice. A good portion of my childhood was in the 50's and it was a good time to grow up. ❤
My mother always made it for us with popover bread or biscuits that raised and split open. It was a perfect for the chicken or Turkey ala king she would make weekly for all 8 of us.
Mandy if you use your hand mixer it will also shred your chicken. I didn't believe it when I was told, but it works. I enjoy watching your show. Judie from east Texas.
I tried the sesame chicken and my family asked me what Chinese restaurant I ordered it from! It was a huge hit here!!! My adult children and grandchildren wanted the recipe.
🥔 oh my goodness, Mandy, I cannot wait to try your new favorite recipes 🥰 Being newly single, I found myself no longer cooking until I came across your channel close to a year ago ❣️ Now I have found a new journey in what I've always had a joy of doing in my kitchen, and that is cooking with Joy and making everyone so happy with my creations 🥰🥔 thank you so much for giving me hope again 🙏🏼
I’m so glad these had Gracie Lou in them. Our sweetie- Sugars, who turned 19 on July 4th, passed away at 3:30 this morning. It made seeing her all the more precious 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 thank you for the count down too.
I lost my precious Matilda cat a week ago.I had to put her down, as she had cancer of the mouth. It was on the right side, she couldn't eat, & was in a lot of pain.( Between the cancer & the awful heat we had this summer, it took a heavy toll on her!!) It was the hardest thing I've ever done!.(She was 18 yrs old & I cried so hard! Still do alot!) I will miss her little face greeting me when I come home.😢😢
I've also made so many of your recipes. My youngest son and I absolutely love them. Some are in a regular rotation. I'm looking forward to another dinner with you, Steven, and Gracie Lou ❤❤
Y'alls chemistry is amazing, love to see it! I've been a long time subber mostly because your videos are so fun to watch, not to mention the yummy dinner ideas.
Mandy, thank you for the Korean Ground Beef Stir fry recipe! Since the video first aired, I have cooked it 3 times. I can guarantee visits by my adult sons when I cook it! They love it!
We love so many of your recipes and 3 of our favourites are the same as yours, lol! The Sesame Chicken is amazing! Love all the laughter and commentaries with you and Steven. It really brings so much joy to all of us! Thank you so much, Mandy! And Gracie-Lou, you bring us smiles every cheese tax! Have a wonderful weekend! 😊💕🙂
My husband doesn’t care much for barbecue flavor but might try this oven recipe. Also Mandy I didn’t see the Mac and cheese recipe did I miss it??? Love your family❤❤
Made the #1 choice today 7/20/2024, and it is delicious. I was pleasantly surprised ❤. I think I'll add a little ginger next time I make this, and there will be a next time. As you stated, it was so quick and easy in the airfryer. Thanks for posting. OH, I didn't have sesame seeds, so I used the everything bagel. Again, delicious 😋
Mandy, I love your videos, especially these best-of collections. When I make my quesadillas, I use the big burrito-size tortillas and fold them in half. I fill one half of it and fold the other half over top of the filling. When it's time to flip it, I just turn it over along the fold and continue browning the other side. That way I don't have to risk flipping it in mid-air like a flapjack and possibly splatter the filling or oil all over myself or the stove. In fact, tonight I'm planning to make some shrimp & scallop quesadillas (with lots of cheese) for dinner. They are devine.
My husband is a very picky eater however, this one time I made beef stew and he said, “you out did yourself this time babe.” I still really appreciate it. Lol you two are adorable, and I’m watching this after Gracie Lou’s passing, she was such a sweet girl!!! 😢❤😢
Have been watching you for several years now, and I don't usually comment, but I just want to thank you. I'm fighting a lot of stress here lately, I go in my bedroom, shut the door and enjoy watching you cook with Steven. It has been so uplifting for me. You and Steven are so funny!! And Cole's two thumbs up is the guarantee things are good!! Mandy God bless you and your family!!❤
Our family owned a Bakery Boutique and Deli for years we all worked in it even my husband who owned a construction business. I’m going to try the bread!!! My mom dad and husband are helping in heaven now so I’m going to try for the rest of the family!!! ❤❤❤your family and how they love you and what you make!!!!
I really think that you and Steven should take your act on the road! 🤣 Y’all are hilarious together! I love watching your videos. They are the highlight of my Tuesdays and Fridays.
I made this. The chicken is amazing but in my opinion really sweet. I even backed off on the brown sugar and honey but still quite sweet. My husband loved it.
I grew up in the 60s with my mom making Carrot and Raisin Salad and loved it then and now !! She did the Carrots fine though and that makes a difference and we used Miracle Whip only and I dont remember her using lemon. We never used Mayo in our house ! She also made the dip and that was the only dip we ate until we were older and all the different dips came out ! We loved the dip too !! We never had the Casserole, our Southern Cooking was more meat, starch, veggies !!! My mom was a prize winning cook. Her food was always gone first at our Church Potlucks !! Love your videos !!
Hi, I was thinking that maybe the extra sauce is to make them a little more juicy. I kinda like my filling kinda loose. Just my opinion 😊. Love 🎉 watching your channel.😊😊
Mandy, i make artisan sourdough bread and it’s so much fun! Make yourself a sourdough starter and get baking! You won’t regret it . Thank you for all your recipes. God bless you and yours !!
My hubby and I have tried multiple of your recipes and have loved them. Tonight, we're having the taco mac and cheese and the house already smells amazing.
@debbiekocol8731 hey sweet friend. I'm trying to. It's 90° here feels like 93°. We're supposed to get up to high 90s this weekend. Hope y'all are doing well and staying cool. Have a Beautiful and Blessed evening and weekend ahead.
Hey Mandy just wanted to let you know my trick for shredding chicken. So I just put it in the it in the instapot longer than usual. I actually put mine with either chicken broth and water, or pepperonis peepers juice. You might disagree but I put it for an hour and all you have to do is stir with a fork.. I’ve just recently happened across your channel. Love what y’all are doing and seeing all the recipes. Y’all seem like a great family. Keep up the great work.
❤❤Mandy, I love watching your shows along with your family every time you come out with a new one. I have just been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. My diet should consist of no sugar and no more than 140 milligrams of salt. Please help an old friend out and show me some good recipes! Please! Much love sent to you and your family! 😊♥️🥰
Love, love these recipes too. Another home run. I’m gathering recipes because my in-laws have to move in with us because of health issues. They can eat these, I just have to sub the starch for a vegetable instead.
I so love watching you guys. I always find myself smiling when I see Steven's hilarious faces. The recipes are an added bonus, and they are really great.❤
LOVE the copycat taco bell chicken quesadillas! I wasn't sure what to expect from the griddle episode, but I'm so glad I watched it! So yummy and cheesy! A new favorite in our household!
From the first time I began watching Y'all Steven was so cute describing the food seasoning etc.. It hooked me on to your recipes. Yummy Mandy..go girl.
My favorite recipe you’ve made recently was the Italian Sub Wrap. At first, I added too much mayo (I found I like just a enough to thinly coat everything), so I ended up chopping a bunch more meat and veggies. Now I had a lot for just 1 person! I grew a little bit tired of wraps, so got the bright idea of making a pasta salad with the rest of my filling. I had some bow tie pasta on hand, so boiled it up and added the filling after it cooled. Wow! It’s now my favorite all time pasta salad! Would be great to take to a cookout or potluck. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Mandy, all these looks wonderful and I'm very interested in trying all of these, I normally don't go to Chinese or Korean restaurants because I thought I didn't like soy sauce. BUT after seeing all your recipes I want to try these at home. I also would like to know if you have ever made sweet and sour chicken recipe?, everyone said I'd love that. Thank you for your videos and I love how ya'll are so real and funny. Thank you again.
They are the perfect couple. Always kind to each other. They are setting a perfect example for their son.
I love it when he praises you and tells you how good your meals are. It is so nice to hear a husband and wife being loving and kind to one another. There is so much bad stuff out there I love seeing you loving one each other.
ageeed, very refreshing, they are the sweetest. I wish they were my neighbors!
I love your recipes and I wanna get this grill but with my husband being so ill (I would appreciate your prayers) we're on S.S. and after 45 years of marriage we have to limit what we can buy but I think we really enjoy this grill since he can't get out anymore. We'll be praying for y'all, Linda.
Praying for you Ms Linda

Yes, she has herself a prize with that one. I adore their spirit and camaraderie. Just a lovely family.
Lol. They cant be taught. He’s a foodie. You either are or you arent. Gotta love Steven. 😆
I wish all husbands would show their appreciation as much as you do. Awesome! You are my fan.
He is always your biggest cheerleader. I love how he always love everything you make. I think its so sweet.
@@glendabreshears6030 I love how he looks at her with so much love # relationship goals❤
that old sweet Gracie Lou, I just adore her, she is such a lovey dovey
Having a husband who is that supportive of your efforts must feel amazing. It's lovely to see.
I just love Gracie. Enjoy every second with her. I miss my Tinker girl. I was so lucky to have her almost 21 years. I miss her every day.
I had a cat named Tinker , too. When I was just 5. Not Tinker Bell, just Tinker. Landlord found him tossed in the garden and brought him to us.
As of 9/19/24, Gracie Lou crossed the rainbow bridge. Sending prayers to their family. Still in shock and can’t believe she’s gone.
Heinz ketchup, Hellmans mayo and French’s mustard.
Yep!
That there is the REAL Holy Trinity😂🤣🥰‼️♥️
They are Duke's mayo people.
Same here.
Every time Gracie talks to you my cat Luda jumps up to watch with me. It makes me laugh. 💕💕💕💙
Love you both, Mauldin girl here, you 2 are great together. Sweet, funny, Godly good people, hope you have power now
A tip for making quesadillas easy to flip is just put the filling on half and fold them over so you just have half a quesadilla. Easy peasy lol

You bring back memories. In high school they served chicken a la king. I loved it.
I have my grandmothers BC cookbook its coming apart at the seams but I'm almost 66 & I am most certainly coming apart at the seams also 😋
