I went to my son’s school today to have lunch with him and he tells me that your video should be out by now. So now I’m sitting in the 7th grade cafeteria with 13 boys gathered around my son’s iPad while we watch your video. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤😊
I was so into your video when you said “this roast smells so good, take a whiff”. I literally bent my head down and sniffed my iPad. Good grief..I’m losing it. Lol. Love your cooking style.
When pizza dough doesn't stretch... it needs some time to relax... sounds silly but it works... just cover it with a bowl and walk away for 20 minutes... then come back and it will roll out like a charm...
We love Gracie Lou. Today it was hard seeing her because yesterday we said goodbye to our Fuzz Butt. He was almost 16 years old and loved cheese too. Every time we see Gracie we always think of how much she is like our Fuzzy. Seeing her today hurt but made me smile too because she reminds us so much of our Fuzz. Thank you for sharing her with us. We think she's adorable. Keep giving her the cheese!
6:04 no matter how many times I see the stromboli video I have to smile as I remember struggling with pizza dough for the first time.😊 Also have to giggle when Gracie gets so vocal about the cheese.
I love how expressive your husband is when he bites into the foods. I used to love cooking, more because of the happy reactions of those for whom I cooked (coworkers, mostly), and I do miss that. I cook only for myself now, but I need to get back to making really good food for myself, not the "Meh..who cares?" food I've been doing.
Watching you cook makes me want to cook again. 😊 I live alone at 78 years and just don’t cook anymore.😢. I love how easy you make it seem and so delicious looking dinners!!❤
I love your easy recipes! I'm a terrible cook, I'm still learning, lol. I have 2 kitchen helpers. One named Daisy Duke, and one named Gink. They like Gracie love cheese!
OMG I'm dying laughing at you with that pizza dough! I would be right there with you! LOL Thanks for all of the recipes and laughs!!!! I love your family!
Merry Christmas to you and your whole family, Mandy. I am fairly new to your channel and, I have to say, it has quickly become one of my very favorites. I love the way you and Steven interact in the kitchen. It's very evident that you have a happy marriage. My husband passed away 25 years ago. You two remind me so much of the way we were.
Roby, you'll love Mandy and her family. Her, Jessica O'Donohue, Falon at Moss family TV, and a few others are my go-to ladies when I need a new recipe.
An easy way to drain the grease from ground beef is to stir around a white paper towel; I like it because it makes clean-up easy, and it is really efficient. Your family brings great joy to my life; thank you! Your relationship with Steven is just like mine was with my Tom. who died in 2011. It really is a pleasure to watch you two. However, Steven is great with food analysis. Once I had a new recipe, and I watched and watched, and no response, so I said, "Since you are on your third helping, I guess you like it," Twinkling eyes and the comment was: "it's passably okay!: LOL What a teaser he was. God bless your family, and I wish you a happy and holy Christmas! Thank you for all you do.
Variation on the stromboli: crescent roll sheet with breakfast sausage, salami, ham, and cheddar cheese. Brush the tops with butter and sprinkle with garlic salt. Bake until golden (usually a bit longer than the crescent sheet directions) and at the temperature specified on the crescent sheet. My whole family loves this!
One of the many things I love about your channel and the recipes you share is that you can accommodate them to your specialty. Like I can't eat corn, beans, and etc. But you can still make delicious meals. Thank you for all you do, Mandy.
I've recently been told I cannot eat corn beans nuts etc. Will you tell me what you replace beans with? I love me some pinto beans but I can't have them 😞.. which is what I would use to make the chicken chili with.
I was so glad to see that the BBQ bacon cheddar meatloaves were on this list. That was definitely a winner with my husband and I. I just made them the other day. I'll be making chicken lo mein tonight and will put the Mongolian beef on my next meal plan. Merry Christmas to y'all from Greenville, Georgia !🎄❤
I found your channel yesterday and I had everything to make the BBQ Bacon Cheddar meatloaf mini loaves - WOW! What a home run and win for my dinner rotation lineup! I am always searching for a good meatloaf recipe (besides my grandmothers which is very tasty) and this is it! Search is over! If you aren’t a fan of meatloaf, this recipe will change your mind! I do believe that using the right kind of bacon is rather important. I used applewood smoked thick sliced bacon 4-1/2 pieces. You deserve a round of applause for this recipe!!! Subscribed ! ♥️♥️ your Gracie kitty - she reminds me of my old girl. She also looks like she has cataracts like my kitty currently. Gracie’s a beautiful furbaby ♥️
I want to try the stromboli, but so far the KFC chicken bowls are a huge hit at my house. Such comfort food during this cold winter in Wyoming. The meal is huge, and lasts for several days. Left overs are even better! Love watching your channel. You have given me so many new recipe ideas.
I'm telling you Mandy I can watch this video 100 times and still laugh at your pizza dough struggle. But that Stromboli is probably the most popular thing I've ever seen you make. I definitely have to try it when I have a crowd over. I love watching you and Steven have fun cooking together. Cutest couple ever by far!
I use the Pioneer Woman's cheat when it comes to the dough but follow your recipe for everything else. She uses Rhodes Bake-N-serve bread dough, from the freezer section. Follow package instructions and once the dough is thawed and doubled in size just roll it out. It worked great when I tried it. I don't know how the taste compares to the pizza dough but my family did not complain and we didn't have any left overs.
I know of an easy way to stretch the dough for Stromboli. Get a sheet pan and grease it with shortening. For some reason only shortening will work. Stretch the dough with your fingers to the desired size. The shortening holds dough so that it stays put and does not shrink back. Just fill and roll your Stromboli on the pan. And then bake it there, too!
When dough springs back too much knead it for a minute and let it rest, covered, for 20-30 minutes. Repeat if necessary until it is relaxed enough to roll out. .... Your husband's name should be 'Lucky'
When I make the Mongolian beef I add a little teriyaki sauce, diced carrots, onion and zucchini and for my son I add green pepper ( I don’t care for green pepper) to his too. Good way to get some veggies in.
Just to let you know a trick to rolling out yeast dough. Let it start to rise a little is becomes more easy to roll. When it has risen a little just start shaping it into your size as you roll.
Mandy I agree, bless your heart. Next time with the dough cut down both sides of the package so that the dough comes out intact like it is in the package. That will make it much easier to roll out how you need it to be. Trust me, I worked for Dominos for 15 years dough is easier to manipulate when it's a nice round patty.
Mongolian noodles have become one of our favourites. I make mine with ramen noodles. Will be trying the Stromboli this week- my grocery store didn’t have pilsbury biscuits (so I will be making your cheese biscuits) but they had pizza dough, so won’t need to roll it out. Love watching you in the kitchen. Much like me there are whoopsies and flour etc gets everywhere- half the fun of cooking 😂🤓 Always an adventure.
Hey Mandy! Just a little hack I found when cooking meat in the Instapot that needs to be shredded after cooking. Use the meat chopper that you use when cooking Hamburger meat.
Mandy girl!!! I just made the Mongolian Beef Noodles and they are divine! Hubby is on his way home and I know he's going to love them! Your kitty is sooooo sweet. Our 9 month old cat, Mochi, is always in the kitchen if I'm in the kitchen. She doesn't really meow, she squeaks and chirps(for real!) Thank you for this dish, from one SC lady to another ❤️(I'm 150 miles south of you, I think or that's what Google said, in Hartsville, SC)
Stretch you pizza dough in your hands and then use the knuckle technique to stretch it some more. Assemble the Stromboli on parchment paper. It will help you to roll the Stromboli. Spray your pan, put the Stromboli on the parchment paper and then onto the baking sheet. Easy peasy.
When you get the dough, put the flour on the work service and pat it into the shape you want. Roll it a few times to flatten it, but it's easiest to pat it into your shape first.
My husband and I are obsessed with your videos. I’ve started a Pinterest board titled “Mandy in the Making Recipes.” We love your food, your family and that adorable Gracie Lou. My six year old little boy just loves her and her love of cheese. Your channel makes me want to cook more, so thank you!
Omg I'm watching your old videos and this one had me dying 😂. I needed that laugh today...I felt your pain with that pizza dough because I struggled too.❤
Love your channel and subscribe to it! Unfortunately my husband and I are dealing with type 2 diabetes and rising cholesterol so we can't enjoy most of your recipes. We do like watching you and your family cook, eat and banter back and forth...it's most enjoyable. Susan
You have come such a long way in your videos. Not only are we given simple to follow recipes but love the southern entertainment! Steven makes me laugh out loud!! Better than TV! I also agree with Steven about the cream cheese. Of course, Gracie Lou is the cherry on top! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family and friends.🎄🎊🎁☃️. You also very neat and organized during the cooking process and meal prep.
I love beef and noodles, I've never experienced this Mongolian Style but I do make a Hungarian style using ground beef. I also use cornstarch to thicken it. it gives it such a silky texture that's amazing. Much better than using flour to thicken. IMO.
I just made a Black Russian cake and a large portion of the box of yellow cake mix ended up on me and my floor. 🤪 Such is the way with me. Thanks for your recipe shares, I love trying them and WEARING them at times. 😏 Merry Christmas from Kentucky A.K.A The Arctic 🎄
We tried the stromboli for the first time last night for dinner. It will be a repeat recipe for sure! Found out that the pizza dough rolled out smoother if it was still chilled. Love your videos! My husband (the cook) & I watch them together! Love Miss Gracie Lou too! Our three pups love cheese too!😂
Hi Mandy, I usually take the pizza dough out of the bag put it into a grease bowl and cover for 2 hours it will rise real nice and you will be able to roll it out
I just found your channel and yesterday I think I watched over 6 hours of your videos while doing my chores! I love cooking and finding channels like yours, you cook like I do making a recipe your own. You really gave me alot of ideas and I actually made the Stromboli yesterday for dinner and it was a hit. You and your "common-tater" kept me entertained thru the snowstorm yesterday. Thanks for all the great ideas!
I made some dinner rolls that required you to rollout a rectangle. My rectangle looked more like a map of the USA. Little protrusions everywhere and odd shaped rolls but people ate them anyway. Made the white chicken chili tonight. Absolutely phenomenal. You were wise to make a half batch. My Instant Pot was almost over flowing.
I love watching you, your son and of course your husband!!!! Just one tip Put a large frying pan on your stove and warm your tortilla in the pan to heat up. The texture of the flour tortilla and corn tortillas heated on a flat griddle or frying pan makes a big difference .
I used to make Stromboli from scratch all the time when the kids were young, including the pizza crust. And the pizza sauce I put on it, etc. Big family, so I always made 2, and there were never any leftovers! I still miss my giant green Tupperware bowl that I used daily! lol
Have you ever tried using an ice cream scoop and putting you meat loads in muffin tins takes about 20mins to cook. My grandmother has always cooked them this way.
Love your recipes and have a tip for your pizza dough. First, form the dough into a ball first by turning it under itself aroundctge sides in your hands. If you find the dough fighting you when you try to roll it out. Cover and let rest for about 10 min to allow the gluten to relax. Hooecthis gelps.
I CANNOT wait to try each of these recipes!! Pretty sad to be so excited over recipes. I’m really excited about the meatloafs!! Mandy thank you so much for all the recipes & laughs. Y’all are fabulous! God Bless
Your channel is so straight up and honest. My son is in the army 💚🇺🇸 and I don’t get to see him often. Next week I will get to spend several days with him. I’m going to make the Stromboli for him. He’s gonna love it! Merry Christmas to your sweet little family 🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄🎶🎁🧦🦌❤️💚
Yes, he will love that! Please tell him thank you from our family. We are so thankful to those who serve our country. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
@@MrsAlmaTrumble Oh Mrs Trumble that’s so sweet. Thank you for your support. It will be so good to see him. My favorite part is when he gets to love on his dog. I will tell him thank you 💚🇺🇸

Oh I was planning on making the stromboli and had forgot about it. Love the "real" world kitchen mishaps. And definitely going to make the white chicken chili for the church cook off 2023 . If Stephen likes it and the rest of you'all then it's gotta be a contender. Merry Christmas ya'll
My husband and I just recently found your channel and we really enjoy it. You guys are down to earth and so fun to watch. After every video he puts in his recipe requests. 😂 And It is very rare I want to try all the recipes in one video but I just added every single ones of these to our January menu. Thank you so much!!
I have made stromboli with frozen {thawed} roll out and fill in with whatever you want. I use different meats, cheese, onions, peppers and or whatever you want.
That meatloaf looks just tasty as all get out. A tip: make it in a muffin tin or use a mini-loaf pan to portion them out. I did both in teaching my dad how to make a big batch and freeze meal portions, and the size on either was just perfect for he and mom.
I would be hard pressed to find a favorite among your recipes. They all are so good😋😋😋 In fact I have a board named Mandy in my pinterest Looking forward to many more favorites in 2023🎉🎉
Mandy, I really enjoy your videos. When rolling out any dough, it helps if you take the side of your hand and make 3 evenly spaced indentions in the dough before you start rolling it out. It helps you get the size you need more easily. I hope that helps make things easier for you. Jeri
This Killer white chicken chili was the BEST!! Hands down really hands up in the air because it was so good! My picky eater husband even loved it! We are trying to Korean Beef tacos tomorrow. Thank you for sharing all these recipes. I have followed for a long time now, and have tried many recipes! Looking forward to many more with you.
One thing my mom would do sometimes is she would mix up her meatloaf but if she was in a hurry to get dinner on the table and didn't want to take the time to bake them in a big loaf, she would make them into patties like hamburger patties and cook them up that way. I think that taking the bacon cheddar meatloaf mixture and even patting them into patties and putting them on the grill or cooking them off on the stove top in a cast iron skillet or grill pan would be another delicious way to enjoy this recipe. Just to suggestion that I thought of while watching the video again.
😂Mandy, laughing at you & the pizza dough again. 😂 Reminded me of Lucy & Ethel working at the Candy Factory. You are probably too young to have seen it but the reruns are still going around the world. I've watched you for quite a few years but rarely ever comment. I love the bantering between you & Steven. So cute and funny! I'm just a little northeast of the Smokies so you know I have a southern accent!! Around here we say Stove Eye but I totally understand when someone uses Burner. God bless all of you. Keep on living life in a fun and productive way. ❤🙏
Y’all are super sweet and awesome. My husband and I cancelled out anniversary vacation coming up Sept. due to health issues but you inspired us to do these recipes to celebrate with one every night for our week❤🎉. Thank you so much. Blessings to y’all. 🙏🏻
I’m making the killer white chicken chili to take to work for Christmas. It looked so amazing. Can’t wait to taste it as I’m sure it will be delicious. It’s supposed to be cold in Florida Christmas Day so I know this will be perfect. Merry Christmas.
Ok, yesterday I made Stromboli, tonight I made korean tacos. Awesome!! Had slaw with it too. Also, added for sides, pickled radishes in lime juice and Korean buldak sauce. Everything worked together so deliciously. I recommend this one too. Next to try is chicken chili...hehe.
This looks amazing. The only thing I would do different is natural release whenever you can and cook it for one hour. It would make it completely tender then. The fibers in the meat and the muscle needs a little bit of extra time to break down a little more. That’s been my experience. Thanks for this wonderful recipe can’t wait to try it!
try adding white cheddar cheese and original coffee creamer you ll get a richer and creamer ; I add creamer to my box of mac n cheese it makes a box a lot better
My family asks for the stromboli at least once a week 🤣❤️ i decided i was burnt out on the flavor and decided to make it french dip style instead with roast beef pastrami provolone and mozzarella with some consume and fench onion soup mixed together for the dip 🤤 very yummy
i always make my meatloaf in the large muffin tins. In this way, everyone gets the crunchy outside and they cook faster. Watch you weekly. We love the sweet sour Kielbasa, although it is always difficult for me to find (video). I add baby corn and water chestnuts. My family also craves the taco stuffed peppers.
LOL 😂 You made me laugh watching you with the dough LOL Also I’m excited to try the meatloaf based on your son’s remark I really appreciate your son’s opinion, I have 5 grandsons 3 are around Cole’s age and so I appreciate it when he gives me his opinion. Thank you Mandy your sweet and precious to watch! Thank you so much!!
I just recently found you. Boy I wish I had found you earlier. The recipe's you put out are awesome. I so wish I had a printer. Oh well paper and pen are just as good to write down recipes. Thank you so much.
The Mongolia beef, the one I have it has a lot of green onions and sweet onions. It is really good. You should add some to your noodles I want to adf mushrooms and broccoli to Amp up the meal so I can eat more of it 😋

We tried the stromboli for the first time last night for dinner. It will be a repeat recipe for sure! Found out that the pizza dough rolled out smoother if it was still chilled. Love your videos! My husband (the cook) & I watch them together! Love Miss Gracie Lou too! Our three pups love cheese too!😂
Hi Mandy, I usually take the pizza dough out of the bag put it into a grease bowl and cover for 2 hours it will rise real nice and you will be able to roll it out
I laughed so hard watching you try to roll out the pizza dough😂🤣 Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I laughed so hard when you were struggling with the dough. Ohhh you made my day!
I love watching you, your son and of course your husband!!!!
Just one tip
Put a large frying pan on your stove and warm your tortilla in the pan to heat up.
I can't decide which to try first, the Mongolian beef noodles, white chicken chili, or the stromboli!
Your bagels look wonderful. It's been 45 years since I made them. Thank you.
Merry Christmas to your sweet little family
🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄🎶🎁🧦🦌❤️💚
Yes, he will love that! Please tell him thank you from our family. We are so thankful to those who serve our country. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Please thank him for his service. Also, thank you.
@@MandyintheMaking thank you for appreciating his service. It’s hard to be so far away but the visits are so special. I will tell him. 💚🇺🇸
@@MrsAlmaTrumble Oh Mrs Trumble that’s so sweet. Thank you for your support. It will be so good to see him. My favorite part is when he gets to love on his dog. I will tell him thank you 💚🇺🇸
@@CarinaPiersay you're so very welcome. We appreciate all our military personnel. I understand. My hubby, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law are all Marines. My brother-in-law went to Iraq 7 times. My father-in-law is Army.
We've tried 3 of these recipes in the last 2 weeks. The Stromboli, the Korean tacos and the mini meatloaves. All were a hit! Thank you
The number one Winner Dinner. My husband does not like noodles so! I will be making this one with rice. I already know it will be amazing!
The Mongolian beef noodle dish looks so simple but so yummy, will try it but with different meat
Jeri
Made both the meatloaf and Mongolian beef. Delicious! Working into rotation!
Oh girl! I just found your channel yesterday and I knew I liked you from the start and then you pulled out the Dukes mayo...you are my people. 🤣🥰
We found Dukes mayo in New England! I literally can not wait to try!!!
Just made the Mongolian Beef Noodles last night for the first time and it was a hit!
Mandy, you are such an inspiration and I love your humor!
try adding white cheddar cheese and original coffee creamer you ll get a richer and creamer ; I add creamer to my box of mac n cheese it makes a box a lot better
The Mongolian ground beef I make at least once a month. My family loves it.
Merry Christmas Mandy! You have been a true joy to watch. When I need some peace and me time, I watch your cooking.
All of these are awesome, thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️Merry Christmas
I don't have a instant pot. But they have clips for them for you can stir in them
LOL 😂 You made me laugh watching you with the dough LOL
Also I’m excited to try the meatloaf based on your son’s remark
I really appreciate your son’s opinion, I have 5 grandsons 3 are around Cole’s age and so I appreciate it when he gives me his opinion.
Thank you Mandy your sweet and precious to watch! Thank you so much!!
We are having a low country boil for Christmas. Hope everyone has a blessed Christmas and a safe, prosperous New Year.
Omg’sh, we absolutely loved the bacon, BBQ meatloaves too!! I’m definitely going to try the Mongolian Ground Beef soon.:)) 👍🎄☃️
You should add some to your noodles
I want to adf mushrooms and broccoli to Amp up the meal so I can eat more of it 😋
I struggle with the balls of dough. Pillsbury makes pizza dough in a can that is so much easier. It comes in a better shape to spread out.
Hey Mandy if you want to make those Mongolian beef noodles ridiculously fast, make them with asian vermicelli noodles. They are almost instant!!!
