I love cows along the trails 😊 I don't have much thoughts on mental health awareness. I know I got something tho haha. I just have to heal myself. Nobody can mens me. And I know I can't use it for excuses. My friend has aspergers and other things. But I'm proud seeing him try. Walking in nature and staying creative definitely helps! 🦇🦇🦇🦇

Thanks , yes its important to keep trying , it takes a massive effort for me doing videos , even the first thing to get past is hating myself on video , but I just had to push past that , a lot of times I go out and don't feel good so end up not filming , but I try to get videos out there for people to enjoy. as well as getting my anxiety levels down a bit. Best wishes 🖤🖤🦇🦇

Luv it....stay weird and stay free indeed!
You are right John its good to talk and know you are not alone, especially with something like mental health that can by its nature be so isolating.
I know this walk quite well but never knew it was a Roman road......does look quire Mediterranean with all that sunshine though.
Really good and enjoyable video, many thanks and take care, Gilly 😎👍

Thanks Gilly , I guess for a lot of us that's who we are so I knew it woulds resonate with some of us. Yeah mental health does need to be de-stigmatised more especially when you think how common things like depression and anxiety are , things have improved a bit in recent years but if we go back to WW1 they were executing some poor souls with shellshock. Yeah its a lovely walk on a nice day , you can actually get on it off Mottram road and follow it under Wildbank across Brushes valley along past Sun green all the way to Mossley , then it disappears under Uppermill somewhere and I've picked it up above Delph for the final stretch to Castleshaw Roman fort. Best wishes Gilly , take care 🖤🖤🦇🦇

I have walked on some of the old Roman roads in the lakes and it always blows my mind to that that legionaries walked the same path as me 2K years ago. I am lucky, I have never really suffer with any mental health issues but I know, just like good health that could change tomorrow, so always give thanks every very day, for a good day and a healthy day. That was a great walk and well done on (now) 805 subs and I am with you on cows being behind a fence after a dam scary experience 9 years ago when we were cornered and attacked by some very aggressive bullocks (long story). Cheers Alan

Cheers Alan, Its adds another level of interest to walks when travelling old Roman roads, especially on solo walks when your imagination gets room to think. Walking outdoor in green spaces is the best treatment for my own and a lot of other peoples anxiety, that's why I'm always pushing it for people to try for themselves. Yeah cows protective herd instinct behavior can be very dangerous to walkers , As you will know from your own experiences I'm not just saying it without due cause. Anyway I hope you have a good week , best wishes pal 🦇🦇🖤🖤

That Roman Road was so oddly calming. Not to mention that I enjoyed that more positive sounding Goth Rock track that you played. Wonder what it was called? Truly helped me to think a bit more positively today. But yes the current wars going on, rather it is in The Middle East or in the Ukraine with the Russian invasion, you would think that us human beings would have calmed down by now. Alas nope, this planet continues to get worse and even worser.
Such a shame. Just last month I was telling my dearest friend Sanniz from Sweden that after some years of being interested in the Russian culture of their cities, language and some of their novels translated into this popular western-Germanic language of English, here it comes: Putin invaded the Ukraine for no real reason to make me reevaluate with how I feel about Russians.
Us human beings sometimes, John. Really I swear man. Us as a species, ya know? Collectively it all never fails to leave me truly depressed & non-plaused.🦇🐈‍⬛🕸🎃

Hi , thanks for your comment, the walk is a quiet relaxing one , I have a knack of finding these kind of places , the music track is something I wrote the lyrics for and composed on a songwriting/music creation website , where you can write lyrics and choose the music key etc and it will give you an idea of how a song may sound , to inspire song ideas, I liked the way this one turned out so will prob do it with some musicians at some point, in the meantime I will add some of the music im working on to TH-cam videos. If you want the full track I can email it to you. I am working on some music tracks with other musicians although they will be a bit different than that as in more post punk/darkwave and I will let people know when I've done them. I am glad the track helped you 🙂🙂. As for wars and hate , its not the people I dislike its the governments in charge who cause it mainly. We can only pray things improve for the innocent suffering. Anyhow best wishes and take care 🦇🦇🖤🖤

You're too kind as well my friend. But yeah its a fine track. Once again that is a good idea to redo it with other musician friends. That way it shall turn out even better than before. Even such as it is, it is a fine track. The older I've gotten, Goth Rock and older non-pop style New Wave and some darker Alternative Rock have really helped me out with how I think, as well as just always enjoying collecting retro horror films as well.
But yes my dearest John, governments keep on doing these (pointless) Wars for profit and it is amazing that we as an entire planet allow them to go on. There is nothing positive about war. It is just plain fucked up all around indeed my good friend. Cheers & Goth Rock Love as I say.🦇🖤🐈‍⬛🎃🦇

Oh, I have that with sadness and fury. Couse their are many things in small world, and the big world, make me first sad and later often more angry. Unfair people, stupid people, agressive people. War, destroying, killing too. Every year I getting older, its more hard to see that all. Its often an "old shoe" as we say in germany, but that shit comes always new in new... ore old... places and faces in that world. So, I have my little deer red pinscher dog, we are so near good buddies, and the countryside I live in. Or I go to our near little zoo with stud farm with him. Motorcyling is an option too, but not so effectiv. As always, its good to see and hear you. The landscape you walk is very nice. Thank you for your channel here.

Thanks you , I used to have 2 boxer dogs which were great for taking on walks , I hope you get some quality time out walking your dog this year , sometimes its just better to wander off in the countryside with a dog to get away from all the bull going on in the world. Best wishes pal 🦇🦇🖤🖤

Get away are the right words. For me its not so easy. Im politically active, i'm councilman for years. My party with roots in the pacifistic movement is part of goverment in Berlin. So war and weapons is a big thing of these days. Its a big mess, couse you know killing and destroying land, homes, bodies and souls will go on and on. And goverment wants more and new weapons and soldiers for themself, give away more weapons, and wants more engagement in the world. A german goverment... So we will have more broken soldier bodies and souls coming home in Germany in future too. No good time for being pacifistic. Get away are the right words.
