Qaswa Qarnival: United Colours of Islam

Our aim was to have an event for Muslim families in Perth. We wanted children to grow up having sweet memories with their families surrounded by the Muslim community.
While we focus on preparing delicious food, great vendors, a lot of effort was put into planning activities for children of all ages. While the adults enjoy the food and shopping, the children can play games and participate in many fun and wholesome activities.
With the Qarnival this year the theme was United Colours of Islam. We wanted to showcase the different cultures that make up this beautiful ummah. From food, to music, to games, and dances; we had cultures from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Pakistan, Palestine, Kenya, Sweden, Germany and so many others.
The Qarnival would not have been possible without the help of so many poeple; the Qaswa Qrew, the Qaswa Family and the community at large. Thank you all.
Special thanks to NU Hadrah team for their performance, Bro Nabeel for the Na’at, the Dabkeh dancers, Canning Exhibition Hall and Showgrounds, and Cannington District - WA Police Force for their special appearance.
