Women and children are welcome to join. We have special activities for children during the tafseer and a play area for them during taraweeh.
Venue: Moresby Street Hall, Kensington

    This is what happens when people try to understand the deen through there own intellect. The answer is plain and simple. we understand The Qur'an through the understanding of our prophet s.a.w and we understand the understanding of our prophet s.a.w through what his disciples understood. Prophet s.a.w never talked about the followers of prophet Musa a.s who use to ask for help even after he passed away neither he talked about any other prophet in similar matter nor he himself made any istigasa through Abraham a.s or nooh a.s or adam a.s etc. although he taught us to offer salah and ask Allah to bless us how Allah blessed the children of Abraham a.s not once did he ask for help from any previous prophets nor he taught his companions to do the same with either other prophets nor he taught them when i am not with you then you may ask me for help either from far away places or from near my grave. Nor any of the sahaba use to ask for help from prophet s.a.w . Mind you this isn't a small matter , we would able to see hadeeth mutawatir reported from various sahabas about istigasa not unspecific reports regarding this matter because this isn't a small matter . There is no conflict if we can ask from Allah for help or not? Then why not ask for help from Allah alone ? will Allah punish us if we ask for help directly? why are you putting people at risk? why divide the ummah regarding a matter which is debated for its permisibilty? no one says you must ask for help from the graves. it's only that they say you are allowed to do so and this isn't shirk. what about others those who say its shirk? what if those who say its shirk are correct? when you say it's ultimately Allah who helps and has all the power then why take the risk? why not ask Allah alone? Prophet s.a.w taught us so many duas , we make some duas and ask for help even in our salah . is there any dua which prophet s.a.w taught us where there is any hint of asking anyone else for help other than Allah? prophet s.a.w ask muslims to make dua for him and we all do it after every adhan so that Allah grants prophet Muhammad s.a.w the place where he s.a.w will intercede on our behalf. prophet s.a.w taught us so many things regarding ibaadah , he taught us all the duas , he taught us about everything which is related to our deen even how to perform istinjaa , how could he not teach us this important thing ? he s.a.w got angry when a sahabi while praising him just said if Allah and his rasool want this can happen? he s.a.w said you have made equal to Allah . when small girls while singing said we have a rasool amongst us who knows about the future he s.a.w forbade them to sing this part and said don't say this and you may sing the other parts. he s.a.w didn't even like the people to stand for him while they were sitting. he s.a.w gave laanah to those who made the graves of awliah a place of festival and a place of worship. why are you guys taking so much risk ? why can't you just ask Allah alone? if Allah wants Allah will help you , why you think if you make dua through prophets Allah will listen to you? has Allah said I don't listen to duas made directly to me? oh Allah thee alone we worship and thee alone we ask for help. Iyakana budu wa iyaka nastain. please brothers and sisters don't take risk?

    It's shirk to worship other than ALLAH, but if it's shirk to ask for help, then the ones who believe that are all committing shirk, because the sunnis believe that when we go to the doctors, take our medicine, visit the awliya, it is ALLAH and His Cure who we are seeking. Whereas the salafi goes to the doctor while he believes that there is no blessing from ALLAH to be sought in that place, he believes should go directly to ALLAH, so it's shirk, he goes to the medicine thinking there is no cure from ALLAH, as he goes directly to ALLAH, and the visit to the grave is shirk because he believes there is no blessing from ALLAH there, so he should go directly to ALLAH. The best cure for his disease is to isolate him and see if ALLAH showers favours upon him for being arrogant and thinking he is special enough to avoid the world of illusion that ALLAH created as a means to gain His Blessings.

      The fact that the dead can benefit the living if Allah wills is well-known. Al-Bukhari narrates in his Sahih regarding the ascension / Isra, after Allah made fifty prayers obligatory upon our Prophet Muhammad SAW, he met the Prophet Musa AS in the sixth heaven. Musa AS told the Prophet Muhammad SAW to return to his Lord in order that the number of prayers be reduced. So the Prophet Muhammad SAW went back to his Lord and continued to do so until the number was reduced from fifty to five. Thus Musa AS benefited the nation of the Prophet Muhammad SAW despite the fact that he was in the barzakh and was no longer alive on the earth.

      @@LoversOfSaheehAlBukhari Whatever you are saying this came to you from the sahabas . Did they take benefit by going to prophet s.a.w grave ? What if a man who makes idols of hindu gods and sells in the market says these idols benefit me! will you make dua to the idols ? Whether prophet Musa a.s benefited or not this is not the matter of shirk. The problem is when you ask for help from the unseen entity. Even when the prophet s.a.w was alive on Earth the sahabas never asked for help from places where the prophet s.a.w could not hear them . Prophet s.a.w said when you would say salaam to me Allah will return my rooh and i will reply to you . Did prophet s.a.w say when you ask for help Allah will do the same? instead when a lady came to prophet s.a.w and said today whenever we have a problem we come to you for help but when you will be no more with us where will we go? prophet s.a.w didn't say no problem come to my grave and ask rather he s.a.w said if i am not there my abu bakr my Umar will be there.

      Whether you are asking the dead or the alive you’re still asking other than Allah. Which evidence from the Quran or sunnah is there that we can ask other than Allah only when they are alive and not dead?

      the companions like Bilal ibnul Harith al Muzani also asked him when he had left this world. That's because the Muslims know that simply asking other than Allah, whether the person being asked is alive or dead, does not constitute shirk@@FreakJames

      If you say that a they can't hear you in the grave then why do you go to the graveyard and give Asalaam and say Asalaam Ahle qaboor. You don't shout it, but they all hear and it is wajib to reply to Asalaam, so now when you give Asalaam you get hasanaats and when they respond to the Asalaam they get Hasaanaats so they benefitted you from the grave and you them.

      No one calls upon anyone except allah swt. Isthigatha and waseela is still calling towards allah swt through someone or saying someone's name while calling on allah swt. No Muslim pray to anyone other than allah swt. Otherwise how can they be Muslim. Also you then also claim the majority of Muslims to be kaafir . And the prophet saw said follow the majority as they will be on the right path.

    My beloved brother/Sheikh ....none of what you said is any proof of Maulid/annual birthday is proof practiced by the prophet , his most beloved , wives companions the pious predecessors. Teaching the seerah and ahadith (what you do in the park every month I mean) is very important but linking that with the term " maulid " is just mudding the waters ... you are opening the doors too other innovation and distraction from actual practices of our beloved prophet and pious predecessors.... and Allah knows best .May Allah guide us all aameen

    • @QaswaHouse
      @QaswaHouse 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Was salawat on the Prophet practiced during the time of the Prophet? Did the Companions recite poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad? If you answered yes to both of them, then there is nothing wrong with Mawalid. Because that is what we do in such gatherings. Wallahu a’lam.
