My family all had a collective "I didn't hit the remote, they--WHAT?!" moment when the Hurricanes/Rangers game flipped to the Dallas Stars game for a brief second LOL
The craziest thing about the goaltender interference non-call on Bennett is the fact that the NHL did not deny that Bennett cross-checked Coyle into Swayman but, that the contact didn't prevent Swayman from playing his position. I'm sorry, in what world are goaltenders expected to make saves with people falling on top of them?! And before all you people say "Swayman wasn't making the save anyway" that literally does not matter. That is not written into the rulebook anywhere. The NHL can't just make up rules when it suits them.
@Fr.O.G. the only shots that matter are the ones that go in. So yeah, it does matter. The league has lost all integrity. Sure, the bruins had no business winning that game, but they had a chance, and it was taken away from them. Hard to play against two teams at the same time.
I believe it was a good goal because of this rule : 69.7 Rebounds and Loose Pucks - In a rebound situation, or where a goalkeeper and attacking player(s) are simultaneously attempting to play a loose puck, whether inside or outside the crease, incidental contact with the goalkeeper will be permitted, and any goal that is scored as a result thereof will be allowed
Look at the goalie's legs. 6:17 He was at full stretch before he was hit with his own player, he had no chance to push across. That is why it wasn't goalie interference. If he did have a chance, it would have been called.
@@jefjay8339actually rule 69.1 is what you have to read. It clearly states that an attacking player can't push, shoved or foul a defensive player into contact with his goalie.

I'm going to just start watching the PWHL instead of this garbage, joke of a league. No reason to keep cable or live tv subscription at this point... I'll say immediately that the Florida Panthers are besting the Boston Bruins bad officiating or not. However, anyone that sees Bennett's sneaky little punch and think that it did not warrant a penalty / suspension or that that scum bag didn't commit goalie interference on the game tying goal last night, doesn't know jack shit about hockey. Yes, Marchand and previous Bruins teams played and got away with shit in the past... Again, due to the leagues poor officiating. If it goes your teams way, it's all fine and good, but when it doesn't it's painfully obvious how unprofessional the NHL is... Panthers are a better team than the Bruins, it's just simply the case in this series... However, the NHL needs to stop the bullshit going on league wide and that includes any Bruin doing shit like this. I am a Boston Bruins and yes, I'm 'salty', angry and pissed off they are getting dominated by the Florida Panthers. However, The Florida Panthers do not need the NHL's help to defeat the Boston Bruins... They could do it on their own and certainly without Sam Bennett punching people and committing clear goal interference. There is a reason the NHL isn't a top league world wide and certainly not in America (save for Canada obviously) and this garbage officiating only adds confusing to a new viewer. I'll let my anger be known with my wallet and just watch the PWHL or another sport entirely. Fuck the NHL.
I thought the officiating in the NFL was the most crooked / bad / biased / rigged...but after watching this series of playoff hockey...I STAND CORRECTED !!!!
It seems like there is a silent ban on fighting this playoffs, and the repercussions of that are dirtier and more malicious hits/plays against players. Fighting has always been a law enforcing part of the game, and the nhl should embrace the players taking the unwritten officiating to themselves
On that Bennet clear interference goal, coach Montgomery who also speaks french, told - in french quebecois - to the 2 french quebecer refs that night - to go f themselves pretty clearly. This series is a joke, as well as the one between Vancouver and Edmonton. We know Bettman wants the Panthers to win the Cup, but come one, don't make it so obvious.
Bennett v Marchand: Missed roughing call? But there is no way that punch is an upper body injury. My Bet: Boston is hiding Marchand's concussion protocol, OR, that punch did nothing and Marchand injured himself. Bennett goal: Bennett never touched the goalie, Coyle was sailing in there anyway. Puck was rebound off Swayman's pad, 69.7 allows incidental contact. Was there a cross check? Possible. But not called. Goal is good. Y'all need to stop complaining, and start scoring goals if ya want to win. Not a Panthers OR Bruins fan. Call it like I see it. Pretty much a normal NHL cup playoff.
I think it's a fair thing to mention that maybe the reason the Toronto League Office didn't think it was GI was the fact that Coyle appeared to embellish his fall a bit. At least that is my interpretation. If you want to be more a bit a conspirator, then Toronto screwed Boston for what they did and got away with against the Leafs! Why was Coyle having his back towards Bennett to begin with? It was poor positioning from Coyle to begin with.
Their reasoning is that swayman’s position was far enough that he wouldn’t have been able to make a good attempt at stopping the shot with the G.I. The bruins coaching staff was arguing that the cross check from behind took coyle and sway out of position where coyle could have gotten a stick or body on the shot blocking it enough so that swayman could have the time to stop it. Going by that logic its as blatant of a G.I. Call as there can be. Its just like last year with the handpass. Im kinda starting to think that the Toronto situation room is against Boston

Make the repercussions severe enough and the players will fall in line or be out of the league.
The Bruins are just trying to play hockey and they are not playing their best right now, but the officiating actively inhibiting them from doing so just unbelievable
A crosschecking penalty should have been called and the goal waved off. But the refs have their marching orders. Call offensive goalie interference on Boston when they are pushed into the net (game 3). Allow a goal for Florida when a player is actually crosschecked into a goalie.

@@codyhand3469 although I agree, Vancouver is no better, that city is a dumpster
It is definitely intensifying this year. Last night, I listened to Mark Messier speak on the injury to Brad Marchand and he said if he was on the ice during that game it would have turned into a 3 hour game and every Florida player would have paid the price. He was disgusted with the Bruins players.
I hate the Bruins as much as anyone but that no interference call was mind boggling
The ghost of Frank Zappa talking to Laff 😉
I agree. Partisanship aside, player safety has to be paramount. Bettman has to do better
the refs must be smoking pcp with this bruins series!
Hard to feel sorry for the Bruins who have a record longer than the length of the ice
@@kevinmenzies3214 so does any team that has been around just as long...bruins just get the blame because they have been consistently in the playoffs year in and year out and are always contenders...no one like people at the top... rangers got rempy... penguins had cook...leafs have Reeves...what the bruins did was what every team was doing at the time now...you cant really even call them dirty anymore... physical? Sure but that's hockey...they ain't sucker punching the other teams star player in the face

Can someone explain this?
Nice. Thanks for posting.
Ian Cole is an Edmonton plant
Love the Dirty Hockey, just like the old days, Good Hockey.
that ian cole goal was his third point for the oilers this series, and ofc he scored another last night
Horrible calls stripped Lightning of 2 goals in a crucial game. Ironically to the favor of Florida Panthers. More ironically, Goalie interference called ON the lightning to strip them of a Goal.
1:59 trocheck didnt celebrate like that because a penalty was called, it was actually bc a goal was just scored and trocheck had an assist
The refs are awful this year… I don’t want scrum hockey, I want clean passes and good looks.
Not forced power plays for free toss ins.
I love these. Best recap of the playoffs, hands down.
You completely missed the dallas double hit at the end of the game.
Not going to watch anymore. The officials are ruining the game.
This is my take away from the playoffs this year. Its almost like they are doing it on purpose. Im losing interest in hockey real fast.
Cry baby
@@TheSwoon69 if thtwo controversial games in a row. Wow dude is that how you want your team to win. Compensation for something Tiny are all I am saying inconsi calling the game is ruining my game. I am a hockey fan I don't have a team actually. It's like when the patriots win with deflate gate. Pathetic
It's been happening all year not just the playoffs. Disgusting. I know the game is fast but come on.
Still my favorite NHL post game channel. I've been watching the the NHL for 56 years now except this year because I don't have cable, so no hockey for this canuck, but you more than make up for it. PS: I watched hockey in the 70s, man. This is nothing, though I am having more than a few flashbacks.
I knew I wasn't crazy when I saw the brief Canes Win! during that OT.
Gotta love seeing rat on rat violence in the FLA/BOS series
Thanks for including the Frederic elbows. A lot of Boston fans seem to forget about that one
Trocheck taunted Aho because rangers scored on that rush to take the lead not from a penalty call
It was actually because they are friends and played together for years. People read way too far into this stuff.
@@slickshewz they only played together for about two years, and the way Trocheck was trash talking throughout the game, it didn't seem "friendly banter"
This years playoffs are fucking amazing, like how can you not watch NHL playoffs.
That's funny because I know many eho hsve had enough of the corruption in reffing. Like me they are done with nhl. This is the worst play offs in history from thr refs. And it's been bad since betting came in but now it's too obvious . Wwf admitted in the 90s it was rigged. I suggest nhl do the same
7:12 gotta be one of the nastiest moves I've ever seen. Didn't have to do the old man like that lol
Love your summaries! Keep it up
Over the nhl, the officiating has been horrendous. I’m out. Not watching the zebras decide games
yeah right, what you gonna watch? the nba playoffs 🤣🤣🤣 enjoy watching 30 point blowouts every night. Plus the reffing has been garbage in that trash ass league too
the boston VS Fla series is just.. really lame this year. Horrendous officiating paired with an even worst bruins team? They're barely putting up any semblance of a fight, putting up less than 20 shots on net for three games in a row (which is, i think, if i recal hearing it correctly from someone, a franchise record) , being outscored 15-5 in the last 5 and their inability to do.. much of anything regardless of home ice advantage or not? Not that great of a series to watch unless you really just want to see boston burn
Fr, they had the fire to beat the leafs and now it’s like they’re showing up to every game hungover or something… they have been real sloppy like the leafs curse was moved to them.
I'm here for Pat Maroon. His contract was based on him "playing at least one game in the playoffs." No problem! He had back surgery this year. He has some fines, and maybe some suspensions coming.
@@BellWifi feels like as soon as they hit 3-1 VS the leafs theyve just been leaving their A game at home! hope they can fight back tomorrow!
How is Toronto impartial in making the Fla/Bruins calls? You’d think they are swore after losing yet again to Boston. And this coming from a Fla fan (whose been waiting for 24 years for the playoffs)
Its a sport where you can actually get away with assault and battery so anything goes. You can punch anyone in the face anytime, in the real world you would be a felon such is hockey
Ian Cole scored most goals..for the Oilers.
Theres a reason they call it playoff hockey.
Marchand deserves everything he gets.
at 2:04 trochek celebrated because there was a goal, not because there was a penalty
Not as clickbaity as usual. Tricked me into watching part of this
McDavid became McSorry real quick. 😂
McDavid is a classic LOOSER
I thought the officiating in the NFL was the most crooked / bad / biased / rigged...but after watching this series of playoff hockey...I STAND CORRECTED !!!!
Tkachuk still rocking the shirt from when Kassian absolutely man handled him 😂 Need some more highlights of him getting destroyed.
As always, entertaining af.
2:05 Rangers scored here, he wasn’t celebrating a penalty!
I have to say, that non-call on the Panthers' goal...WTH.
The upset ppl need to realize what “materially affect the outcome” means
5:49 a little bit too close
McDavid is a joke. refs let him get away with everything
Ok and shall we talk about zadorov?
Zadorov... who gets called for his shit all the time? That Zadorov? That's the point.
McDavid must have sore throat after all the games
BRO WHERES THE NEW VIDEO COME
ON?!?!? IVE BEEN WAITING DAYS 😭😭😭
It seems like there is a silent ban on fighting this playoffs, and the repercussions of that are dirtier and more malicious hits/plays against players. Fighting has always been a law enforcing part of the game, and the nhl should embrace the players taking the unwritten officiating to themselves
Its a no brainer that with Violence not accepted on any level in society...and its only a matter of time when we will see it gone from the NHL
Can we suspend Trouba for full season, because its not his 1st or 2nd time to chicken-wing people so he has clear intention to injure
Sutherland!!!
Can't talk about Goalies without Silovs either
The NHL playoffs are the best thing in sports and the most intense. Sometimes guys cross the line, it's always been that way.
Why not show Canuck’s frying up mcdavid
The games are great but how many more refs and linemen and camera angles do you need to get the right call
Cole has 3 goals in the 2nd round now. One in each game so far. And all 3 counted for Edmonton! 😳
GO CANUCKS GO!
😎💙💚🤍🍻
Oilers secret Santa = Cole 😂
NHL officiating is a joke
Good video!
I mean that "controversial goal" they gave a very clear and understandable reason as to why I was NOT interference... lol.
I didn’t think it was goalie interference, because it Coyle falling into Swayman, not a panther. But I didn’t know for sure.
There ruling was that swayman could still make the play but how tf can he make the play with a player on top of him
I think it's a fair thing to mention that maybe the reason the Toronto League Office didn't think it was GI was the fact that Coyle appeared to embellish his fall a bit.
@@The1nf3rnal Oh they are against them clearly... It's pretty bad they don't know their own sport well enough to get these calls right. Even more so with the technology we have today. It's a joke league.
@@Brett-mn4kl it is, but its not just the bruins i forget who it was earlier in the playoffs went for a flying elbow wasnt called, hitting another player in the nuts with the stick, in general 4 of bruins vs panthers there was a 5 second hold pinning the B’s player on the boards puck no where near and immediately after the puck went past the goal could have been a cross crease goal but no holding call
Oh, we're calling it The Michigan again? I think networks have an aversion to that, probably because of some stupid branding money-related who-the-fuck-cares. Or maybe because there are Buckeyes fans at the networks. I saw the original The Michigan live, so it'll always be that to me. "The lacrosse" is lame.
Coyle was taking himself into his own goalie already cmon
There was a cross check by Bennet however it sure looks like embellishment.

The National Hooligan League strikes again! If anyone is surprised by this kind of play, they haven't been watching the NHL - pretty much since it started. If the league (owners, commissioner, etc.) didn't WANT this type of dirty play they would take action to stop it. To think they can't stop this kind of play is silly. Make the repercussions severe enough and the players will fall in line or be out of the league.
Crazy stuff !
This young generation doesn't know how to play hockey . I've never seen such unorganized team work .
Crazy, what some shitty calls
Well not enough Vancouver - Oilers coverage to say the least. 😅
The Bruins are just trying to play hockey and they are not playing their best right now, but the officiating actively inhibiting them from doing so just unbelievable
Lmfao. It's hilarious listening to bruins fan complain and blaming refs for favoring the other team.😂😂😂
Oh the irony. Lmfao!😂😂😂
A crosschecking penalty should have been called and the goal waved off.
But the refs have their marching orders. Call offensive goalie interference on Boston when they are pushed into the net (game 3). Allow a goal for Florida when a player is actually crosschecked into a goalie.
