- The Boston Bruins are starting contract talks with Danton Heinen. Forbort has played his last game as a Boston Bruin. Could Brock Nelson be traded to the Boston Bruins? Bye-bye, CapFriendly and we have a schedule for the Four Nations Cups.

What do you think Heinen's next deal will look like?
1-2 years 1.1 to 1.5m per.
1.3 would be ok
@FempireAudios 1.5 I believe is the new cut off for the amount that can be entirely buried in the minors. It was 1.3 but with the cap going up that changes. 1.5 would be the most I'd want to do because I don't think him being productive is a guarantee. There's a reason he came to us on a PTO. He was terrible the year prior.
hopefully on another team, too small, not tough enough. Boston tried the fast way, it didn't work
4 yrs @$2m each
Stamkos plays Center. He would be a great pick up. Tampa really can't afford him.
He would be unique and would provide the Bruins with a second weapon on the PP
Too old. The best is gone.
41 Goals and 40 Assists this year. Doesn't seem he plays old.@@robertwells6724
Heinen would be okay for a 2-3 year deal, but the salary should be under $2 M per year, anything more and he can walk. Forbort, Shattenkirk and Grezelyck can all sign elsewhere right now if they want, just walk away same for Maroon he is too slow. Nelson would be good, but we can't be giving away anymore picks or young guys like Poitras, if it could be a hockey trade for Coyle + then it could be worth it.
I have to agree. I wouldn't be trading any prospects as the prospect pool is almost drained
Booked my flight and hotel to Boston yesterday for the FNFO tournament 🇸🇪🇺🇸🇨🇦🇫🇮🏒🥅
That is awesome. Very jealous
I disagree with your philosophy. The B's lost to St. Louis and twice to Fla due to their lack of physicality. The one game this year where the B's had 70 hits (that's usually a monthly stat) they beat Fla soundly. You can be fast AND tough and THAT'S what it takes to win in the playoffs. I admit, I am old school and unless we're talking 'gifted' player, defencemen need to be 200+ lbs.
Great point! You are dead on!
The Bruins couldn't score, so they lost to Florida. They have a great defence and forwards that can not be pushed around. Paul Maurice said his team wouldn't have been able to have another round like they did against Boston. I’m not against guys who can play hard but they need to know how to skate
We couldn't get it out of our own end, lost too many face offs, weren't often as physical, never had guys in the slot, didn't shoot enough, and rarely scored on breakaways. You decide the players but imagine Ullmark to Chicago for their #2. Please draft a scorer.
That would be nice
sweeney will screw things up as usual.almost 10 years with this clown and he's ruined this team for years.time to fire him jacobs but the owner doesn't give a hoot.
Well I hope Sweeney figures it out because he isn't going anywhere
Ruined it by making them a borderline contender in a bridge year? Lmao “but 2015” Carlo and debrusk were drafted in the same class and since then he’s drafted Swayman Frederic Mcavoy lohrei poitras and Beecher just to name a few key guys
He’s also traded or signed Lindholm, hall, Ullmark, Coyle, Zacha, Geekie and brazzers
We had the greatest team in history under Sweeney. Ppl get hurt. It happens. But he's a clown. Greatest team in history. Wtf is wrong with you?
@edited1325 yup he's horrible right? Enjoy my sarcasm.
@@edited1325 yeah and the idiot sweeney could have had any choice of kyle conner, barzal, several other good players but he takes another bust defenseman,a major reach and the next year they have what (2) 1st round picks and could have taken debrincat (a shiper!),and another year they waste a top 18 pick on a soft defenseman that'll never be another paul coffey when they could have taken jason robertson.if i was general managerr i would have all those players and the bruins would be a dynast but the mangement and scouting have no brains or vision.
Not getting tougher is not great. Look at Florida. We don't need soft small players. FFS, what are you smoking?
If you got any of the good stuff you let me know.
Heinen isn't the answer. He's versatile and props to him for making the most of his one year deal. I'd suggest the expectations would be higher to justify a new deal from the B's. Rather have a bigger, more physical forward who rugged presence causes anxiety in the other club. If that player can chip in some goals, bonus.
Who are you thinking?
@@bruinsdiehards Not the greatest pickings but to start, resign A. J. Greer. No skate byes for that guy. I've never been a fan but Anthony Mantha had a resurgence. I'd love for the B's to somehow land big, physical, and can score Dakota Joshua from the Canucks. Think he made $800,000 last season.
I would rather them leave the roster spot open for a providence player. Remember Heinen was removed in later part of the Florida series on the top lines. 3 mill a year for three years sounds like a Gryn situation.
Fair point
Sweeney just killing Boston

@@bruinsdiehards right. Breaking piggy banks for sway!
I'm not down with NHL players playing outside the league. The injury issue is the reason. For fans to see THEIR star player injured during a promo game is a tragedy. But we know the greed determines what the owners do.
Hopefully no one gets hurt
2 x 3 sounds about right for Hienen
Yeah and fair for both parties. Though we might be able to get that AAV down with a 4 year term
Good show, I am a big Bruins fan going way back. P.S please turn down the background music, too loud and it is distracting. Thanks.
Noted and thank you for the input. I will try it without background music all together on the next one. Thank you for watching and go B’s
