Curious what tip you were using? Seem you used a slow pace. And do you change tips for your stencils. Looks good and appreciate the videos. I’m an airport striper look to start striping for myself. I’m in the Memphis area what area are you in?
I'm planning on starting up a business doing striping pretty shortly. I didnt think that handicap were outlined in yellow. I guess I've never noticed up until about a year ago and realized how good of an opportunity it can be. So I'm guessing it would be the customer's personal preference if it's on privately owned property and maybe I need to check into certain guidelines for my state and if they vary from county to county or by city . I always find these videos very helpful and it's almost like getting schooling on the whole business of striping. Best way to learn is hands on training especially while making money . Good video.
The Accessible Parking Signs are done a bit different depending on where you are from. Things are for sure done differently from city to city or state to state for sure. Thanks for Watching and Supporting!
Yours stencils should be in accordance with the national guidelines of the law. Not only does this standardize your stencils but is a good selling point to point out to businesses if their markings aren’t in accordance with the law. Point out how you are helping to keep them legal.
It all really depends on where you are from and what the going rates are. For new lines and on fresh asphalt it is always more money since you must double coat and use much more paint.
Can you make a video explaining for first time stripers how to get lined up and hit your mark on point ..also how to set up and set up your pressure what's typically the best pressure
Use the bar of your striper to line up on your reference whether it is chalk line or over an existing faded line. Square up your line and proceed to paint. If new to striping have a helper tape off the ends or lay a piece of cardboard at the ends so you don’t start your line to early. Your question was a lil vague but I hope that helped you.
Thanks so much! I will have some more coming up shortly. This job you can charge about $1200-$1600 easily and it took about 5-6 hours. I could of done it much faster but I had problems with the pressure in my line painter that day which has since been repaired.
I've tried a few different type of paints some are better than others and some were horrible. I'm always looking for new products to test out and see if I can find anything better.
Thermoplastic is expensive and would price you out of the market. Customers don’t see the value , all they see is price. Also thermoplastic reduces repeat business you can follow up on in a couple of years.
I am using Oil Based Paint most of the time! It works with my machine much better. Depending on the time of the year in the summer we are using low VOC Paint.
Contact local paint suppliers like sherwin Williams or similar. Ask them if they have any demos available or if they know of anyone they do business with has one they want to sell. Draw back is some will need complete rebuilds of the pumps etc.
There are a few different ways to price out line marking. You could do linear foot or you could price out lines or per parking stall. Linear foot its approximately .25-.30 for re-striping.
You can start buy advertising but once you get established with properties or property management company's you may not have to look for work. Thanks for Watching and Supporting!

This was my old line painter it was actually slow because it had issues with the pump. I'm now using a Titan Line Striper. Thanks for watching!
You make it look like it’s nothing but I’m sure with practice it’s nothing after awhile ! Great video can’t wait for more content ❤️

Which model sprayer is this? Thanks in advance .. great job by the way😎👍
This is a Hero Line Striper that's no longer made. I'm using a Titan Line Striper now. Thanks for watching!
Great video, hey could you show us what is it you touch or move on the machine when you start painting (a close video angle)
I can do that for sure next time. That's the wheel lock control. I'm locking the wheel before I paint the line and then unlocking as soon as i'm done.

It all really depends on where you are from and what the going rates are. For new lines and on fresh asphalt it is always more money since you must double coat and use much more paint.
Wow how do you keep a steady hand? I would have the line sideways and have to redo it!!
The line painter actually has a lock on the wheel so you just have to make sure its going straight before you start.

Wat size tip you use when painting red lines?
My tip size is either I've been using .19 lately. Faster flow and works faster.

How do you price your striping on a parking lot?
I’m about to start working doing this on Monday ! I’m nervous but I know I can do it!
Did you do it?
Wouldnt it be better to use Thermoplastic on this rough ground?
I've tried a few different type of paints some are better than others and some were horrible. I'm always looking for new products to test out and see if I can find anything better.

Looks fantastic 👏
Great job!
Is water base paint or oil base?
I am using Oil Based Paint most of the time! It works with my machine much better. Depending on the time of the year in the summer we are using low VOC Paint.
Water base latex for old restripe lines , oil for new asphalt.
Is that the HERO line striper?
Hi there,
