Colour wise it doesn't matter too much unless you are following a new build drawing only if its required. White use to be much more common however its less used now since it is not a visible in the snow as yellow. That's the main reason 95% of the time I'm using Yellow. Most properties just keep the Accessibility stencil the same colour as the lines (yellow). Thanks For Watching!
How many cars can I park in front of a building if I would take advantage of each single inch? Or what is the minimum width if the distance is about 24 cm? I appreciate your advise
Typically here parking stalls are 9' in width from center of the line to center of the line. You could squeeze it a bit smaller but have to worry about how much room you are giving each car
Thanks for all of the tips. I am a subscriber. I always like your videos too. I just bought a Titan 850. It's the entry level one, but I'm just buying what I can for now. What thickness would you recommend I get for my stencils? I'm just starting out. Looks like I'll definitely be getting a crack brush.
Many people use different sized stencils. The stencils I'm using are 39" It's always good to check with city / state guidelines to see what they require. Thanks for watching!
That is a very technical question. What i did today, (in the process of starting my line striping, pressure wash, sealcoating buisness) is went to my local sherwin williams and simply asked the guy what rollers ppl normally get for line striping bc after my months kf research had no idea. All u want is a thicker roller. Typically atleast 1/2” and ofc 4” my materials cost me $26. That was the 6’ handle, the roller, 5 plastic paint trays, and the handle for the roller.
Thanks for catching that! lol 😉 It was bound to happen eventually. We've cut it out for now, but we'll make a full blooper video soon. Happens more than you think!
Yes for sure filming I do mess up a bit. I was suppose to watch the video before we publish it but I didn't' get a chance to. The mistake slipped through! Glad you caught it! Thanks! Blooper video will be funny we have enough of it!
$5-$7 per line parking lot if 70 do the marth😂 $25-$30 disability design if 5 do the math 😁 Blower, paint, masking tape, blower, business card =$500 Let me know I do that at Ohio remember in usa:- "Everything is worth what people are ready to pay"
Depends on how much money you have to spend to start. If you don’t have much: find some parking lots to re-paint, get some paint and a roller, some tape, tape the edges of the lines so they are straight, paint the parking lot, get paid, buy a line striping machine, paint more parking lots, buy more machines, hire people to paint even more parking lots, repeat. Boom you have a business
If you don’t mind the question- about how much does a job like that cost the customer? I’m getting ready to start a striping business myself, thanks for the informative videos.
Thanks so much from Bogotá, Colombia, Sud América.
Thanks For Watching
Nice video mate.
Do you pressure wash the area before line marking?
Cheers ✌️
Thanks for sharing !! what brand is your Pro Point measuring wheel?
I go through so many of them i break them almost every year! lol. Thanks so much for watching!
Awesome work. How do you spray the small letter stencils using the gun? Do you turn pressure way down to avoid overspray?
I do typically turn the pressure down to about 1000 psi. Thanks for watching!
Very nice video, but how do you make the stencil, do you buy it ready?, or is it custom-made and what is the stencil material?
Informative and great presentation
What kind of paint do you recommend if I'm needing to paint the curb in our private neighborhood red?
I would personally use an oil based traffic paint if possible. It lasts longer.
Is it legal to make the wheel chair man yellow instead of white? Asking for Louisiana

Would rolling over the stencil still give you the same result as the sprayer?
Similar but not the same. Spray will give the best results. Thanks for watching!
This is gold.

What kind of paint do you use?
I use Sherwin Williams Oil Based Set Fast most of the time. Thanks for watching!
Didn't know the blue box was a legal requirement. Thanks for the info!
The standard is having the blue paint in the background. Just like the posted signs we have in those spots!
It’s an ADA requirement, and there are a list of requirements that goes with it.
Hi, what type of paint do you used, thanks
I'm normally using Sherwin Williams Oil Based Traffic Paint. Thanks for watching!

Yellow paint is so much better in Canada because of the snow.
I agree it is more visible!

It all comes down to what country, city you are from etc. In Canada here that would be a minimum charge approx $800 Canadian.
