the absolute most underrated band i've heard. I took my dad to go see the meat puppets for his birthday when I was 14, DC was opening for them and i fell in absolute love with these guys' music. to this day any time i watch any of their videos i'm speechless. if i could go back in time for anything, it would be to see these guys again
I don't think they're underrated ... they're just not as known and they should be...people who appreciate good music would love them but they just don't know them...I myself discovered them by chance a few years ago...and I love them
My band was lucky enough to be on the bill with them at a small venue in Tampa about a year or so ago and afterwards I was discussing musical influence with the lead singer and Neil Young came up...so yeah. That sort of harder alt southern rock thing. Lots of other influences too. Side note, we get to open for them again in a few weeks. Woo hoo!
Saw them perform the rat in a close quarters, dark and smoky Red Lion Pub, Augusta, Ga. One of the best band performances I have ever witnessed. They should have produced a similiar video, such a powerfully dark and mesmerizing performance at the Red Lion !!
I heard them on Conan'O and instantly feel in love. It's been a long time I've heard GOOD music from a band I'm excited to hear more of. They bring me back to the 90's alternative grungy sound that I miss.
Funny you should make that comparison because they've shared the stage with Patterson Hood. Most people see the Nirvana connection, but they definitely hold on to their southern rock roots.
yea i know right,i posted a question on yahoo answers asking if there were any good grunge bands anymore and someone mentioned dead confederate, and i was thinkin to myself,i bet there gonna suck, but i heard this song and i was like, holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,and it is
okay, they're playing in a fuckin radio station. my question was directed a lil more to whats going on in the video. the boy is putting something or someone dead in a plastic bag into a red wagon and wheeling it into the woods? yeah, i do that everyday! maybe he is taking it on a short cut through the woods to the radio station's studio! yeah, that's it!
yea i think there much better than nirvana, cuz they're way easier to understand, and they're actually the band kurt cobain wanted to be,cuz kurt didn't want to be famous,he wanted to be an underground grunge/rock band,w.e u want to call it,this is exactly what he wanted to be but he fucked up and made smells like teen spirit and became popular
Never heard of these guys until 2022. I was completely robbed.
How'd you end up finding them?
Better late than never 🤘
Oh fs.
@@BeanDip209Not OP but I got this specific song in my weekly Spotify Mix

Love the way the guitarist modulate the chords sequence at the end of the chorus!
Solide performance guys!
Twelve years after this gig still tums up

This a great song. Great performance. Nice to see bands perform live like they do on the album.
Whoever shot this is a fu%king genius. Genius.
Dawson Morris' singing style is so original and fantastic. Those inhale sqweals of whatever it is he calls them are awesome

How is going this band? did they have some new songs?
i kinda said it wrong, like he didn't screw up,but thats the song that made him popular, and he didn't want to be mainstream,my bad g.
Those are amazing lyrics! Almost as good as, "Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet eating her curds and whey..."
their lyrics are pretty strong.
thanks 4 recognizing the attitude. good song though!
hey, can anyone tell me whats going on in this video?
what have you been smoking?
i guess i left out the details. didnt need an attitude. no question is a dumb question!
They're fucking playing in radio station's studio. What's not to get?

Yeah, a lot of questions are dumb questions. But I guess, the attitude was unnecessary.
