Oh yeah, A guilty pleasure 80's pop that was so sweet only your Dentist could cure you!!! This was a song that women always had on in a yoga/gym class at any fitness center. Just a joyous, happy and uplifting song that got you tapping your feet or bopping your head to the tune!!! She was great as the lead singer of the Go-Go's and had a good solo career for a while!! A great catchy tune that was meant for radio and got a lot of play time on it, now as an oldie!!!
I grew up in the 80's, so I heard this song on the radio hundreds of times at least. I dismissed it as just another catchy pop tune for decades after it came out. The I watched an episode of Black Mirror called "San Junipero," which had this song featured. That episode is absolutely heart-wrenching. It was meshed so well with the story that the use of this song in the show was probably one of the single greatest moments of any television program I've ever experienced. If I hadn't known about the song decades ahead of time, I would have had to swear it was written specifically for that story. That moment was so beautiful in the show that I broke down in tears, and I'm not the type to cry easily. Since then, when I've heard this song I get a flood of emotions from it, and it's now jumped to my list of top songs from the 80's...
BELINDA CARLISLE, the first one is correct, had to boost she is a local girl born and raised in Southern California, also part of the Go Go's. Sometimes i finish these comments be for the song is finish so I am not trying to one up you on what you say. every body has there take on songs and i do not say anything bad or at all if I differ from me. You have a broad range of different types of music, but not much.
Wow, that was an unexpected choice.👍😊 The album and her subsequent one Runaway Horses were superb. I’ve not listened to either for a while though. I think I will now!

Circle in the sand is another great song from belinda.
Belinda Carlisle was the lead singer for a great all-female band in the late 70s-early 80s, "The Go-Go's".
It's great when one of these wonderful hits from the past pop up here🤗 Great reaction Enoma 🎎⚡
The video was directed by actress Diane Keaton, known for various roles like the Godfather Trilogy, Baby Boom, and The First Wives Club.
Dang, i remember my older sis and aunties blasting this music in their rooms when i was a kid. lol
In the Music Video the guy she's being intimate with at the end is her husband which i thought was really sweet.
Great song! Beautiful lyrics! You should react to the video to this song too! 🙂✌🏻🙂
Great reaction to one of the classic. I'd like to recommend Martika, Kim Wilde
