Many of these soldiers might not be alive now if it weren't for these gifted and fiercely loyal dogs. Kudos to Kristen Maurer who has worked for years on getting these dogs reunited with their handlers.
You never who your enemies and you never forget who your best. Best. Your best friend is and everybody knows. Best friend in the world 🌎 is the one that sticks by you dog cat parrot whatever you want to call they always animals always remember who was the best to be right next to them no. And this is life of the soul
@@johnrussell5896 Amen, friend. 😂 Over the decades, I've had over 30 dogs, cats, birds and horses... and one kind & stubborn donkey named Lester. 🌈🐕🐈🐎❤ Beyond grateful for knowing them all. Blessings to the folks who rescue... from the heart.
A better job of reporting this great reunion would had been to start showing the dog when walking towards the US airman showing us from the start of them seeing each other 🐶💖🦴
Military dogs are soldiers and should be considered as such. It seems they are as I’ve heard they are frequently deployed multiple times. When a soldier leaves military that is ok so why can a military dog not have the same rights? I’ve heard well the military spends a lot of money training the dogs but we do we not spend alot training the human handlers? It’s a disgrace that we treat our vets in this manner and yes the dogs are vets as well. They should be treated with the utmost respect they deserve as they have served their country but never had a choice as to whether to serve. They may sound silly but they don’t have a choice and they should be allowed to retire with all the compensation due to them. Is this what we are as a nation? We don’t care about all our vets?
The human handlers are very highly screened before they even begin training. The humans go through many courses on how dogs learn. The are also trained on basic care, as well as things like K9 first aide. And just like some dogs don’t have what it takes to pass all the training, some humans don’t either. Not sure where you got your information
Please Everyone Support Mission K9 rescue with donations so we can see more of these reunions!! It helps with PTSD in both human and dog soldiers! The military leaves these dogs to die in foreign countries once they are done using them; it's an uncomfortable sad truth.
I brought my Belgium Malenois home. We did 2 tours together. Best dog dog in the world. R.I.P. Sgt Nakita. Till Valhalla

WOW! What a great VIDEO! Thanks! John P.
Military should be made to return the retired dogs to their handlers (if they accept) by law.
Pet love is the best.
