Playing Ravel’s Bolero on my 1929 Conn 40H “Ballroom” Trombone with Griego 7B mouthpiece. #nationalsymphonyorchestra #trombone #bolero #orchestra #music #nsomusicians
ahh yes the Cirq de Symphony! We did this in Boston a few years ago - it was the opening of Zarathustra, then cut directly to the trombone solo in Bolero! you sound terrific, Craig!!!
Outstanding playing from a Spanish trombonist.
Sounds very nice. Definitely appropriate for Bolero - was surprised how warm the upper register is!
Amazing what you can find in a Mulcahy closet! We're glad it's still sliding! Wish we could hear it in person!

Thanks, Steve! We’ve done this show a few times over the years but never with Bolero. Or Zarathustra, for that matter…
Beautiful horn and just right for the piece. Love when older horns get their chance to shine again.
Super 🎉
Stunning! Absolutely Beautiful!
Beautiful horn and playing! Enjoy!
Great feel. I would like to start learning this.
Nice playing!
Tuning *In* the slide?? Now thats something I havent seen before
Great tone! I love the projection without getting too small. Did you ever play it on a .525? Were you playing it on a .547 before?
Thanks. I’ve always done it on a .547
