  • Don't wait for the day when things will be better, they may not get better. Hopefully they will. I sure hope things get better for everyone! However, sometimes things don't, and I urge you all to do want you want to do regardless of the a condition or impairments, etc. Do what you can within your capacity that will make you happy!! I'm trying to, and my hope is that you all can to!

Thank you!!! I cut my bangs myself this morning... haha, I needed a change, and desperately needed some shape to my hair as it is grown out from the short pixie cut i used to have.

You are incredibly mature for twenty-something!
I saw the Pat Henry episode, too. Very inspiring, but I want you consider that not only doesn't he miss what he never had, but doesn't suffer the debilitating pain that you do. In that sense, what you're going thru is doubly hard.
You'll be a great advocate. Woefully missing from our health system is patient advocacy. For a long time there we had no pain clinics, leaving me in the wilderness for years. No one believed my pain was real.

    Kerri,
How are you? I just stumbled upon this video (in someone's favorites) and I feel so blessed that I did. You seem like such a sweet, strong person - I find that so many of us chronically sick people dream of helping other people. I wonder why that is? I was the same way when I was little. You are helping people through your videos and today you made such a difference in my day. I felt like giving up and this video reminded me to push through and stay strong. Thanks so much (hugs)

Oh, I definitely do know that everyone is different, that's why I said "within your capacity." My message, or point, is basically try to do what you can that is within your limits. I probably should have added that people should NOT overdo themselves as that can be detrimental to not only our physical health, but also our mental health!
