Cyclismo cycling sock by DeFeet International

Chief Sockologist Shane Cooper of DeFeet International discusses the features of the Cyclismo sock. In response to a smaller pedal platform, professional cyclist Paolo Bettini asked DeFeet to design a sock with extra padding to protect the ball of the foot where it pressed into the pedal. DeFeet’s answer? The Cyclismo is a thin technical sock with a no-feel toe seam and a low-bulk meta-pad knit into the ball of the foot, adding cushion between the sole and pedal contact point.
