Thankyou for the wonderful explanation . It is helping me to understand the concepts in much better way . Better than the lectures we attend in the college . 👌
Sir your videos are unique on youtube..you are only responsible for covering my mol biology...thank u sir for giving such knowledge without asking any money...🙇
arey yaar!your explanation is like a blessing by god. Far better than many other lecturers which makes me to type shomus biology along with my doubt whenever I search in youtube _/\_ but, I am having bio for only this semester,so i could not buy online DVDs or else I could have done.
hello! please explain to me the causes and factors of spontaneous mutation. I understand that cells no longer copy properly due to natural factors. but I would like to know what those natural factors are. How do they appear and where? because everything in life happens due to some factors. thank you very much.
Thank you so much for making this video the best explanation of the gene mutation. Clear, organized, step by step and the highest level of understanding the mutations types Thank you 😊 🙏 so very much and wish you more success 💐🙏💐🙏💐
@@shomusbiologyofficial I am from bangladesh and your videos have helped me to complete my graduation in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology discipline
Each of six populations of Drosophila in different geographic regions had a specific arrangement of bands in one of the large autosomes: a.12345678 d. 14322678 b.12263478 e. 154322678 c.16223478 f. 15432678 a. Assume that the arrangement letter a is the original one. In what order did the other arrangements most likely arise? b. What type of structural aberration is responsible for each change? Please help.. i dont understand how to solve this problem
Only those will get it who listen carefully, and if you're even getting doubts you can google them, Understanding the concept and then reading the question is better
Hello sir Im a BS biology student from the Philippines.. I'm struggling because of the online class an your videos help me a lot.. I'm currently having a hard time answering genetic problems in my general genetic class I hope you can discuss some particular problem .. I really dont understand it because of the lac of reading materials and lectures on the internet.. please I hope you read my comment
Sir in any type of mutation ..is the base changed in only one strand of DNA or in both strands ?... For example if one strand of DNA has certain sequence and lets imagine A is replced with G in one strand ..will the other strand at same position be replaced with C ,since G pairs with C ?
When talk genetic code and codons, please refer to RNA codes, so A,U,C,G. Cuz transcription goes 5' to 3' reading the template 3' to 5'. That means though UAG is a stop codon, TAG on one DNA template would be read as 5'CUA 3' on mRNA, which is not a stop codon. People like reading codons in 5' to 3' direction, but it's confusing if you don't know which strand is being talked about. I know you're talking about the coding strand, not the template strand. Anyway, the rest of the infos are pretty informative. Peace
Shomu Biology, thank you for a clear presentation. Change in nucleotide in a codon changes the amino acid as well as the protein.. GMO technology incorporates a foreign gene, the protein are likely to be changed? Does the change of mutation in nucleotides, be equated to GMO transformation.

How do i memorise what codon is codes for what protein and on translation what base pair changes to what ????? Is there a way to memorise??
