Not to beat a dead horse. It HAS to be the version with Peter Cetera. It's next level
love chicago !!! you ever see a blind man playing guitar with his teeth? watch jeff healey-can u see the light...mind blowing performance that u wont soon forget!!!!
Got to check it out.
Please listen to the original studio version with Pete Cetera, lead vocalist!! ☺️
Ok
Need to do the original studio version
Hi there Brandon & Shante, You guys are now cooking with gas!!! Because as you can see the group Chicago is an "ELITE BAND!!!" They have been playing for several decades and they are still touring today in 2023...Needless to say they have a very deep musical catalog...Thank you so much for this reaction and let me take a moment to suggest that you react to another song of theirs titled: "CALL ON ME" it is truly a "VIBE" that I believe you will truly enjoy too!!! Sincerely, it's your friend, CR SoundDoctor
Thanks for the info!
@@brandonnshante You got it!!!
Great hair. Looks good. 😋 I still listen to this song. Love Chicago.
That's not the original singer.
Peter Cetera (the bass player) was. This might be some of the original band, but not all of them.
My favorite Chicago song is " look away"
Chicago went through some changes in their style. They were originally called, "Chicago Transit Authority" but later shortened it to just "Chicago". Their music in the 70s was more horn based, kinda like the end of this performance. They had a very upbeat vibe. Songs like "Feelin' Stronger Every Day", "Saturday In The Park", "Beginnings" and "25 or 6 to 4" are just a few of their hits from that era. Then the band changed in the 80s to more of a soft rock vibe. I was glad to see that they brought in the horns at the end of this which was a little more reminiscent of their earlier days. I've never heard the live version until now but being a former trumpet player, it was cool to see them bring in the horns.
I got another great suggestion Pink Floyd Great Gig In the Sky when u got time it's about at the end of ones life going through denial ,frustration and anger and then accepting death and echoing into the beyond and PLEASE PLEASE DO THE STUDIO VERSION 🤓
Chicago has a long list of great song s you need to go down that rabbit hole I'm a man is one of there good ones
Thanks, John!
They did a pretty good job, but honestly I thought I was gonna be watching the ORIGINAL CHICAGO band. I'm not totally disappointed though. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Original Chicago so much better.
Make Me Smile, Beginnings and the live version of 25 or 6 to 4 @Tanglewood! . This song doesn't sound like the original. 😳
Another amazing reaction! Your both wonderful. I used to listen to Chicago in the 70;s in high school and one thing about their albums were all of the songs were great and worth listening too so it was great! Kind of like Supertramp where the sum of all the parts made for great 8 track or cassette listening! Have you listened to Heart STAIRWAY to Heaven. If not you have to react to it right away. I promise you will love it! Ann and Nancy are from my city!
We haven’t yet.
, great I will look for it soon! ♥♥♥
I like your hair like that Shante.q
Thanks
This isn’t the original w Peter citera . Way better
Okay
They are always amazing in concert. I'm going to see them next week at the Venetian in Las Vegas for the 56th anniversary. They are always great in concert. They have toured heavily every year minus covid and put out 38 albums, the latest last year. They are very prolific and diverse in their songwriting. If you want more horns and upbeat tempos, I'd stick with songs off their 1st 11 albums that also have all their original lineup.
Cool! Have fun!
Not sure who that is singing... maybe they switched singers? The singer I know for this song is Peter C. But great reaction 😁🎶😁
This is like a entirely different band. The early singers were just too unique vs this leads voice and sounding nothing like Peter Cetera singing it when originally released. At least the current "Journey' band has a lead singer that sounds almost exactly as Steve Perry whose voice is unmistakable yet the new lead is spot on. Second song here was from Chicago's origins in the 60s when more Brass was in their music. They formed in 1967 and by 1968 called themselves - "Chicago Transit Authority" and then shortened to just "Chicago". Just 3 or the original 7 or 8 tour today with one on keyboard, trombone and trumpet. Just not enough key originals to be much more than a Tribute band IMO.
Nah, this isn't Chicago. This is "Chicago Wannabe". The original, with Peter Cetera. That's what you want.
So we did the wrong Chicago Video? Huh
@@brandonnshante Trust me on this.... you want the original. ❤
@@ElizasGrammy ok
So good
Ehh. Do the original. This guy ain't nothing compared to Peter.
So just wondering ,is this going to be a "live performances" channel?? If so please let me know. This not even the correct singer for this song.
What do you mean about the correct singer Jeff?
@@brandonnshante the original singer of this song was Peter Citera. Not this guy.
