Good Reaction, My Friend . Revolutionary Video for 1975. Did you see The Gong at the end? 😀 Voted the best ever MTVVideo ahead of "Aha-Take On Me and Peter Gabriel-Sledgehammer.
This is one of the greatest songs ever written. Queen is legendary and Freddie Mercury was once in a lifetime. There will never be another frontman as good as him. Keep the Queen reactions coming! Nice job!
You have just entered the extraordinary world of Queen. One of the greatest rock bands of all times. This is legendary. Freddie Mercury was such a showman and performer...🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️
Fun Fact: Brian May ( lead guitarist stripped shirt ) was given a Knighthood in the 2023 Honours, he is also a Dr of Astrophysics. The drummer ( Roger Taylor ) was given an OBE in 2022.
This was 1974 and we were mind blown. Queen is the greatest band ever. The guitar player is Dr. Brian May Astrophysicist and he still tours with Queen +Adam Lambert and has the same hair only it's gray now.
As a 68-year-old Londoner,I have to say Queen are one of the greatest but we always "Bet Without The Beatles" who revolutionized The World not just The World Of Music with their 230 Songs and have sold twice as many Singles and Albums as the next 2 Worldwide acts combined(Elvis/MJ). When they turned up at Adelaide,Australia 500,000 greeted them at the airport and lined the 7 mile route to their hotel, :)
rodger taylor the drumer/singer who did the high notes is also still in queen.john deacon the bass player stopped playing and being famous when freddie passed.he keeps himself off the radar and lives in a small uk village.
I've seen Queen many times in concert, they were the best concerts, he sure was a showman but their music is unmatched. They were extremely popular in the 70's and 80's. What's amazing to me is how young people are going back 50 years to listen to great music which would be like my generation of the 70's going back to listen to music from the 20's which we never did.
Yes!!! 🙌🏻 More Queen Please, especially their live performances are amazing. I suggest their Live Aid ging, it was for charity, for the famine in Ethiopia. 20 minutes of fire 🔥 Much bless and keep up the good work!
If you want to see the impact Freddie, Queen and this masterpiece had and still has on people of all ages watch Greenday concert Bohemian Rhapsody Hyde Park 2017, Somebody to love live in Montreal is the greatest live performance of a song there will ever be.
Queen absolutely amazingly talented band, all the members of Queen have written No1 hits, no Auto Tune in them times just pure genius and talent,Queen have a vast catalog of amazing music, all the band were absolutely incredible musicians, they have sold over 300, million records and Queens greatest hits is today still the best selling album of all time in the UK 🇬🇧. The lead guitarist Brian May hand made his electric guitar 🎸 out of a old wooden fireplace with his father and still uses the same guitar today, Queen sole live aid with there legendary performance, Freddie Mercury the lead vocals, is considered by many the best frontman of a band ever, Freddie Mercury also collaborated with Michael Jackson with a couple of amazing songs, Michael Jackson was a fan of Queen and would sometimes attend a live Queen concert, absolutely amazing reaction thanks 🙏
This song is beyond famous. It's hands down one of the most iconic songs of that era. Imagine hearing this kinda of music everyday & never realizing you were living in "the good ole days." I did. ;o)
This video was made for a programme called Top of the pops because they were unable to appear . There are videos of crowds waiting for other groups Green day is one singing this number word for word decades later. It blew us away when it was released and still does to this day. An opera in one number.
I made sure my kids knew good music!! My 5 knows this some almost word for word!!! And my 13yr old loves “don’t stop me now” y’all really need to dive into queen
This is 10 in every single compartment ...and yes definitely continue the Queen journey, you both won't be short of viewers whilst doing it that is for sure!!
Freddie Mercury was opera trained and could sing in FIVE octaves. He was brilliant. Both of my parents are passed, and they were huge Queen fans. I like to think of them up there somewhere just chillin' w/Freddie Mercury and other greats that we lost too soon. Great reaction!
Thanks, Kids! I'm so glad you listened with headphones.. it makes all the difference when you're listening to Queen... look forward to more from you both...
This song, along with Don't Stop Believing by Journey, were inducted into the Library of Congress in 2022 as major cultural influences. A well deserved honor. You might recognize some of their other songs-We Are the Champions, We Will Rock You, Someone To Love
These boys have musical intelligence and it makes perfect sense why. They all are academically gifted with maths being the driving force. Guitarist Brian May is an Astrophycisist, Bass Player John Deacon knows his electronics. Drummer Roger Taylor Biology specifically dentistry & singer Freddie Mercury graphic art. He designed their famous Crest logo. Great reaction!
You’ve only scratched the surface of rock n roll. As you go, you’ll see…..there’s a lot out there….if you like it cool, cause that’s how it goes- every band isn’t for everyone kinda mindset…right…so….enjoy and take it all in…..❤️🎼❤️
Great choice and great reaction. I was fortunate enough to see Queen 4 times in the 70's. I encourage you to react to their song White Queen (Live). Thanks.
Live concerts at Wembley Stadium,London UK are out of this world! LiveAid concert ‘under pressure’ 💜 Live at wembley ‘ Another One Bites the Dust’ 💜 live at Montreal Somebody to Love’ 💎🇨🇦💎. You can’t stop now 👑✨
this song is considered the best rock song of all time, it's #1 on the list, and it should be. Freddie was an amazing singer an front man, they just don't get any better. RIP Freddie, the world is a less place without you
What can be said about this stand alone song that already hasn't been said? Billions of views of the original video & continuing !!! Starting out as a ballad on THUG LIFE, then a choir for forgiveness, then a rock song of defiance & finally an ending of acceptance. AND ALL BEFORE AUTO TUNE CAME ALONG.
The man he killed was his old self. It's basically telling the story of him "coming out" and leaving behind Farrokh Bulsara and becoming Freddie Mercury.
Vocals - Freddie Mercury, Guitar - Brian May - (Dr in astrophysics), Bass - John Deacon (Electrical engineer who built Brian an amplifier, specially for Brian's style of guitar playing.) Drums - Roger Taylor, who first studied dentistry, but decided it was boring, got a Degree in Biology. All of them could sing, although John didn't like to. They all also wrote at least one song that became a #1 hit.
Welcome to the world of Queen, This was the 1st ever custom made video. Freddie Mercury wrote this but each group member were accomplished song writers with many hits.
Bohemian Rhapsody is still the greatest song ever made there will never be a better song than Bohemian Rhapsody every year on the gold radio station they have a poll of the greatest song ever made it never comes as a surprise to me that Bohemian Rhapsody is voted the greatest song ever made thank you Freddie for such a brilliant song & video you will never be forgotten RIP Freddie hope you are happy where ever you are
Brian May, home-made guitar- done with his dad, astro physicist, still has that hair, it's just all white now. Freddy Mercury is the song writer, he put 3 or 4 of them together. Great piano player, Sang all the harmonies himself at the start. High notes the drummer, all 4 guys wrote hits, finished uni and had "real jobs too." Do you know we are the champions, another one bites the dust or we will rock you from sports? Those are all from Queen.
This is not just a powerful piece of music, it is a three-part rock opera. Listen the music and lyrics in three parts. First is murder, with its recognition and impact. Second, a trial with all its chaos and circus. Third, think of accepting the verdict, and death. Note that the last note is a single strike on a symbol, allowed to die out. Tremendous song. Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen, and Freddie Mercury will live forever.
So, those of us that were around at the time this was new, are huge Queen fans, this song, has been said, was Freddie "coming out" back when that was literally unheard of, he "killed" the one part of him and embraced the "Flambouyant" freddie...
@@raineytv I saw them live at Madison Square garden in 1978. 18th row, floor center! I still have the concert program from that night. Tell me I'm not Blessed!!!
You’re not old Martin! I’m 3 years older than you! Lol! Yes! I am re-discovering Queen! I didn’t appreciate them when I was younger! Making up for it now! Happy New Year!
In the 60's and 70's there so much talent out there great music was just falling out of the sky, it was just amazing time to be a music lover. What coincided with this was the big leaps in home audio equipment technology, with amazing sound the amps, receivers, and speakers just getting bigger and more powerful with each manufacturer trying to out do the other. Back then if you couldn't shake the neighbors windows, well you needed to upgrade.
Goodness, this makes me feel so old. I heard this for the first time in 1975 on the radio when it was climbing the charts. I was 26 years old at the time and I'm now 73. This song has stood the test of time.
Hi, My name is Lyn. This came out in 1975, I was in high school. It was an immediate HIT!!! Its main singer, Freddie Mercury, had been diagnosed with HIV. But he didn't tell the other three band members until LIVE AID - to help starving people in Africa.
Type in Cole Lam,a pianist genius who loves playing Queen, started 13 years old, look him up,especially if you can find now when he is about fifteen and joining in with a nine year old boy playing Bohemian Rhapsody in a railway station in i think London.
I remember when this was out - Christmas period of 1975 - I was 12 and was learning to play guitar at the time...... Towards the end... Brain May playing the tapped harmonics... I had a very basic idea what false harmonics are, and could only just about do it - single notes at a time...... Then I notice this guy playing the tune by tapping out a series of false harmonics.... 8:52 in this video. My jaw hit the floor... "Clever F**** B******"
The beautiful harmony in the very first "singing heads" portion is actually just Freddie Mercury harmonizing with himself of multiple tracks. He was writing three songs at the same time and had the genius inspiration to combine them into this epic masterpiece. Nothing like it before or since.
So much fun! How about a reaction now to the man Brian May (Queen's guitarist) credits for giving him his guitar sound, the legendary Rory Gallagher? Rory was in the same league as Hendrix, Page & Clapton but chose to stay true to his music and not worry about becoming a commercial success. Still very successful, having sold 30 million albums, he is definitely work taking a listen. Try "A Million Miles Away" or "Who's That Coming?" from Irish Tour '74 for a sample of his amazing guitar work. Thanks!
Thanks! Another hit to checkout is SOMEBODY TO LOVE done in Montreal, Canada. A masterpiece. I wish you the next year to be a little bit better than this one! If lucky - much better!!!
Queen with Freddie Mercury were performing in the 1970’s and 1980’s. 18 albums. They stayed together until Freddie’s tragic death in 1991. This was the very first video ever. It’s why MTV and VH1 were created. Queen made the video to promote the song. Other bands started making videos too and voila MTV. Go down the Queen rabbit hole. You won’t be sorry.
